YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

The examination itself went very well. However, all other aspects of the experience have gone horribly. I went for my initial examination in mid October. I picked out a pair of frames and was told I would receive a phone call when they were in. That phone call never came, so I had to follow up myself, perhaps a month later. When I first tried them on, they were horribly bent, and the front-office staff proceeded to wrench on them to make them fit. I told him I would not be comfortable walking away with that product, and so he said he could send them "back to Davis" to have the frames replaced. I didn't receive a phone call again for at least a month. When I called and inquired, he said that they were in. I went again. They appeared to be exactly the same frames, and thus naturally didn't fit. He encouraged me to pick out a new set after telling me that the right side of my nose was elevated--a new observation for me. I said that I wasn't interested in a new pair, and kindly asked that he try to return them one more time, or I'd take my business elsewhere. Two to three weeks later I still hadn't received a phone call (I was promised a one-week turnaround time), so I called my insurance provider directly. It turns out the front office staff member lied about the frames I picked out being an insurance-provider product. Instead, he filed the claim under a site-provided frame and charged me the allotted amount I have for a non-participating frame. As such, my insurance provider had no record of having received the frame for replacement or repair. In all likelihood, then, the front office staff lied about having returned the frames to be repaired. I feel for the optometrist at this site; she acted like a professional. The front office staff, however, have been dishonest and unprofessional. I would encourage you to take your business elsewhere.

Dr McDermott is very helpful and gives his patients personal attention. I had an exam done by him and purchased both reading glasses and glasses for distances. C&G peridically gets new designer frame styles but also has less expensive options. The Coach frames I chose were really quite reasonable.

I visited their Bensalem store. I paid much more than I did previously in other places, even though I had a groupon. The exam was ok., but the staff was not helping me at all in choosing my glasses. They did not ask me about any option, and when I asked for transition glasses, the response was ""but that is $100 more."" The ""assistance"" just fills in paper, does not care about you. Ridiculously expensive place. I will avoid this place in the future

Talk about a triple whammy - this place has it all! The Doctors are amazing and take the time to exam you and answer as many questions as you have. The staff makes you feel like family and has the very best knowledge on all of their frames, helping you make the perfect choice. You really can't go wrong here and the prices are reasonable for both the exam, lenses and frames. It's well worth stopping here for all of your eye care needs!

Dr. Pervaiz has taken over the University City Penn. Optometrics and is truely wonderful. I've been coming to this location for years and loved it then, but love it even more. She is down to earth and personable. She takes her time during the exam and answers all your questions. But what's even better is the new line of glasses she has brought into the practice. It's like there's a new fresh vibe in the office. I simply LOVE IT!
1325 Market St
This place is incredible. Two pairs of eyeglasses (with an exam if you want it, though they're a little difficult to schedule) for only $80. And they're really nice glasses that hold up as well as those you get at more expensive chains. They'll also tint the glasses for $10 more. Getting glasses here is CHEAPER than going somewhere else and using the copay/deductible on my vision insurance.

My visit with Dr Nguyen went exteremely smoothly, from a no-hassle appointment to a very pleasant office environment, where the kids could watch TV while I was getting fitted for my glasses. The staff was most helpful in helping me choose a pair of frames to fit my needs and everyone was a true pleasure to interact with. With recommend unreservedly.

Professional and caring staff I'm not the kind of guy to take the time out of my day and write a review online. After my expierence at Today's Eyewear, I had to! I walked into Today's Eyewear just to browse for a new and different pair of eyeglasses then what I have worn for years. I was confronted by a gentleman Terry Bowman who said hello to me as a FRIEND not a potential profit! I was in a unique personal situation for the reason I was interested in new and different eyeglasses. Terry and his staff listened to everything I had to say so they could understand exactly where I was coming from so we TOGETHER could make the best decision on MY new eyeglasses, that would work best for MY lifestyle and WALLET! Terry and his utmost professional and caring staff spent more time listening to ME and my needs, compared to selling me a product or finalizing a sale and getting me out the door to wait on someone else. At Today's Eyewear I really felt confident in the process of purchasing my eyeglasses. And confident in that the staff was also just as, if not more, concerned about me as well. Thanks again Terry and the staff at Today's Eyewear , you have a new customer and friend for LIFE!

I had a very different experience than the people below, as did my husband. We waited for 10 minutes, maybe, but I did not see any amount of waiting by anyone reviewing that was unusual for an appointment. Anyway, we were seen in a reasonable amount of time, treated very well and I love my new glasses. My eyes no longer feel strained, so it was a fair assessment of what I needed. I will definitely be back! I hope you will take my review into account.

Phenominal doctor and professional staff. If it wasn't for Dr. Troppauer, I would still be walking around with the wrong prescription, previously prescribed by my former Optometrist. Very hip office with the latest trend in frames. Beautiful, tranquil setting with classical music playing in the background and a lovely garden outside. Highly, highly recommended. Thorough exam.. Drove two hours each way, and would do it again. By the way, great dog!

I went in for my yearly check up and when I questioned the co pay (my insurance told me initially I didn't have one) Henry, the owner totally lost it. Yelling at me and and getting even angrier when I insisted on double checking with my insurance company. Even while I was on the phone with my insurance company he continued yelling at me so I couldn't hear what the representative was saying. Horrible experience, I will never go back.

I was initially told my exam would be around $60. When I added a contact prescription, it immediately went up to close to $200. Upon receiving my prescription for glasses, I immediately purchased frames at Costco as they were nicer than Sears' frames and were WAY more economical. Upon returning to Sears to get my contact prescription, I was given a prescription that lacked all the requisite information. I did not know this and returned to Costco who rejected the prescription for lack of information. When I returned to the Sears Optometrist, the staff gave me the run around about not being able to give me my prescription without the Optometrist present as they were legally not allowed to go into her files. I left Sears and went back another day when the Optometrist was there. She wrote me, yet, another ""prescription"". When I returned to Costco I was AGAIN rejected and told the Optometrist did not write the measurements for the lenses. By this time, I was furious! The Costco staff were very helpful and called the Optometrist and the staff faxed over another copy of the INACCURATE prescription. The Costco staff then informed me they thought the Sears Optometrist was sending the wrong prescription on purpose as she wanted my business. Well, she was NEVER going to get my business after all the aggravation she caused me and time spent driving back and forth to Costco AND Sears. Costco is NOT close to my house. After sending a legal letter and months of back and forth with the nutty Sears Optometrist I finally got her to give Costco my prescription. (Unfortunately, I still have yet to receive my copy of the prescription.) Additionally the Sears Optometrist tried to charge me $18 above the price of Costco's charge PER BOX! My advice: FIND ANOTHER OPTOMETRIST or you will suffer the consequences!!
