Danis Auto
I would just like to say that Dani's Auto Sales is the best dealership I have ever dealt with! I honestly could not believe how well I was treated and how the entire sale was so easy. I had been looking for a vehicle for a few months and was looking for a dealership that wasn't going to waste my time and my money. I made one phone call and spoke with Angel. I told him the car I wanted to look at and what my price range was. I simply went on-line and filled out a simple application. The next day, I was told I could go pick up my car. Angel made sure I had a list of what I needed to bring and never rushed me to get there. I was going to go down Friday night to get it, but was not able to go until Saturday. Angel actually told me that driving into Philly on a Friday night might be a little much and they would be open all day Saturday. He was definitely not like any car salesman I had ever dealt with. I do not like being rushed and he just really made sure he was thinking of me instead of himself. It was one of the hottest days we have had this summer and my husband got delayed, making us late. Not one word was said to us. We were treated as though we had arrived early. The car was everything that was listed on-line and then some! Everyone at the dealership was great! While sitting with Larry to go over the financing, we laughed the entire time! It was so hot that we were sweating in Larry's office. Dani actually brought us in huge slices of watermelon to cool us down some. My son and granddaughter were waiting in the other vehicle and he made sure they got some watermelon too! I think if anyone were looking for a dealership that really thinks of the customer first, they need to check out Dani's Auto Sales! What a great transaction and really great people to deal with.

J & L Auto Repair
How much is a quality trustworthy mechanic worth? PRICELESS!I’ve been relying on Lam from J&L Auto to service my 2002 Saturn for over the past 7 years and have always been impressed with the consistent quality of workmanship my car has received. I take pride in keeping my car which has over 150K miles running great and attribute this mainly to the outstanding service I get from J&L Auto. What is most exceptional about this business is that never once have I been recommended services to my aging car for which it did not need. On the contrary, Lam has suggested only the necessary repairs costing much less then the excessive recommendations I always got from the national chain store mechanics and quick lube chains who do nothing more then up sell service that is displayed from their computer screen. Thankfully, I started going to J&L Auto through a recommendation from my Uncle after being told I needed over $700 in repairs to my engine from a well known retail auto chain. It turned out my car needed little more work then a routine tune-up which was a fraction of the cost. Ever since then, I continue to trust Lam and J&L Auto for their expert and HONEST advice for all repairs and routine maintenance on my car.

Joe Pirrone Transmissions
To my dismay my new (used) mini van ran into a big problem shortly after purchasing it from a local dealership. I was recommended to this auto shop but was very anxious bc my car came with a warranty that I had heard not so great reviews about. Well that was a lot of needless worry . Everyone on the staff I dealt with was courteous and professional. They were the ones who dealt with my warranty company, I was kept updated throughout all the repairs, everything was done on a timely basis, and I was even offered a ride home and they offered me help if I needed to figure out how to secure a rental car during repairs as well. Devin, the owner made me feel like my family's new vehicle was in the best hands possible and I'm relieved that this was the shop I walked into. It's been a bit of time now and I can say that the van has been running in top condition since I've gotten it back. I'm so grateful to them for giving me a stress free experience and getting me safely back in the road and would not hesitate to recommend Joe Pirrone Transmissions to anyone who is in need of transmission work and looking for someone trustworthy to deal with.

Rich's Auto Sales Inc
I have never bothered writing a review for anything before but this place deserves one. In fact, they deserve a standing ovation.I have been ripped off by auto shops before so I was very nervous about this place. My car needed emergency repairs and I happened to break down in front of Rich's. They could have completely scammed me (as Jiffy Lube, among many others would have) but instead they gave me a double oil change (only charging me once) and checked everything that needed checking and found that the only issue was the oil. They tried to charge $30 for the cooling agent they added but were very easy going when I said it needed to be $10.The total wound up at $44 after tax. They easily could have scammed me out of a hundred dollars saying my cooling unit had a major leak and needed replacing, my transmission needed to replaced, and they could have charged twice for the oil.Instead they were fantastic and very nice and easy going. They were a little hard to understand at times but when asked to repeat, all was well. This place was fantastic and if I ever randomly break down in the Philly area again, I know where I'm going!!

i had a crazy situation with my 02 ford explorer.. i went to joe because my aunt had two of her cars fixed there before and they worked good for her. i bought the car like a year ago, and first i started havin problems wit the 4x4 during the winter. joe got that fixed for me with my warranty company with no issues. a few months later, my trans started actin crazy when i was drivin on the highway. i took it back to joe and lucky for me my warranty company still had coverage but they didn't want to pay the full price joe got me as much as he could from the warranty people, and dropped the price for me so i could get my car back for work. they didn't really have to drop me price for me if they didnt want to but its good to kno that theirs people still around that understand the problems we got in the economy. i told joe id write him a review on here and i always forgot until now but i just wanted to thank them again for doin a good job on my baby and workin with me money wise. id tell anyone i know to use them. thanks again guys. you got a satisfied customer rite here

Danis Auto
I am going to start by saying that I am extremely surprised by how fun my car buying experience was at Danis Auto. I waiting for a while until I was approved on my Mercedes and I spent most of the time chatting with the finance guy Chad. It really made the process less stressful for me. Also, on a more serious note, I am shocked to find a dealership that is honest about known problems in cars. Angel actually steered me away from a different Mercedes that was parked in the back of the lot stating that it had "air bag and possible transmission issues." I still wanted to see what kind of deal he would cut me considering the known issues (hey! I had to try!) The owner, Will, actually REFUSED to sell me the car saying that he couldn't in could faith sell a car to anyone unless he knew it was safe! WOW! Is this for real Yup! Go see these guys-they are a diamond in the rough! I love my new Mercedes E-Class! Thanks!! I'm putting this review anywhere i can on the net cause these people deserve it!!

Autopros
I went to so many car lots looking for the right car and someone that would finance me for what I was needed. I spent hours and hours in diffrent dealers and everyone was rude and wouldnt listen to what I needed and only wanted to sell me vehicles that would put the most money in their pockets. I know my credit wasnt the best to be dictating what I was asking for but I do have a family of 6 and needed somehting reliable that would last for a few years. At Autopros everyone was understanding and more than a pleasure to work with. They made the process so easy too!!! I was in and out withing just 2 hours!!! Compared to many other dealers which were 6-7 hour long process. I ended up buying a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan, which fit my family comfortably, Provided me with service records and a accident free car fax :) best of all the van only had 37k miles on it!!! I plan on keeping this car untill it is paid off and then comming back and trading it in for something even better!!!!!

Dillon's Auto Repair
For the last 3 years I have been taking my car to Pep Boys, and they have been nickle and dime'ing me to death. The last time I took it to PB they told me it was going to cost over $2K to replace just my a/c unit in the car because it had a hole in it. I said no way! My friend told me about Dillon's Auto Repair so I deiced to give him a try. I usually don't write reviews but for the service, experience, friendliness and the cost I just had to leave this review. Took my car (with no appointment) and asked him to look the whole car over as I am an Uber driver and did not want to break down. With-in 2 days he had my car inspected, my a/c unit fixed and my over heating problem all done. Now for 3 YEARS PB was never able to do all of that in 2 days! And for the price I paid I highly recommend Dillon's Auto. I have found a new doctor for my car and I couldn't be happier! Thank you so much to the team at Dillon's Auto Repair Shop! (Would of given more stars if I could of)

Ameri Motors, Incorporated
I am graduate student with a limited budget and a family. I went to Ameri Motors and told the owner that I only had so much money to buy a minivan and can he find me something for that price. Moreover, I wanted foreign car, in particular a Nissan Quest only 2005 and up. Although the dealership mostly deals with high end cars, the owner searched in the auctions for me for several weeks until he found me a 2007 Nissan Quest for the price that I stipulated which was much cheaper than really it could have sold for in the market. This was even better then I had hoped for since I only expected to get a 2005 Quest for the price I stipulated. I was very happy with the service I received from them. They were kind and very considerate of my situation and did all they could to meet my needs. They even processed the paper work for the title on the new car and lost title for my previous car so I can sell it. Any one looking for used cars, I highly recommend this place.

Collision Decision
I recently got into a car accident on Spring Garden few weeks ago. A gentleman named Andy approached my vehicle and asked of I was ok. He then asked me if I needed a tow. I then arrived at collision decisions auto body shop at 7373 state road. I then walked into such a beautiful office and spoke to Mr. And Mrs. Padilla. They were such a pleasure to talk to. They reassured me that my car would be well taken care of and that it would be done in no time. I also received a rental for the time my car was being worked on. Few weeks later I got the call my car was ready. I picked up my car and was so pleased with the work that was done. There was not a dent or scratch on my car. I recommend anyone to take their vehicle to Collison decision auto body shop because they do such good work. I'm sure anyone would be pleased, not only for accidents but if your car needs any work done Collision Decision is the place.
Tips & Advices
Ceramic brake pads are made from dense, durable ceramic. They are favored for their relative silence while driving compared to metal or organic brake pads. They also have little wear and tear on the overall brake system and are very reliable. However, they are more expensive than metal or organic brake pads. Additionally, their performance deteriorates in extreme driving conditions.
Brake rotors typically last between 30,000 and 70,000 miles.
Brake shoes are used in drum brakes--rather than disc brakes--which is the original braking system designed for vehicles. Just as brake pads are the friction component of disc brakes, brake shoes are the friction component of drum brakes. When the brakes are applied, a wheel cylinder pushes the brake shoe against the brake drums, which spin while the vehicle is in motion, and causes the vehicle to stop.
A squeaking or squealing sound when applying newly replaced brakes is normal. It comes from the rotor vibrating against the new brake pads. It should quiet down after about 250 miles, and should be more or less silent by 750 miles, when the brake system has had some time to synchronize itself.
This depends on the car, the brake system, and the car owner's driving habits. Typically, a car's brakes should be replaced after about 50,000 miles, but some car's brakes may last anywhere from 25,000 to 70,000 miles. Car owners shouldn't wait for a magic number to replace their brakes. They should check them regularly, and pay close attention if they hear any weird noises or if the car feels shaky while braking. Brakes are a critical safety component of a car, so it's important to stay on top of brake maintenance.
