Little Texans Learning Academy
I came up to the Little Texan's Learning Academy with my brother-in-law a few days ago. We went to pick up my nephew who attends there. My sister has been talking about this place since she started sending him there. I was curious to see for myself what they loved about it, especially since I may be relocating. The parking lot situation is a little rough. Once I was inside my frustrations quickly faded away. I was greeted by a woman named Ms. Melissa. She was very welcoming. Once I explained who I was and what brought me in she offered to gave me a tour. Some of the areas seemed a little cluttered but the staff was working on that while I was there. As we walked down the hall we encountered a group of young children about 4 years of age. The kids came up to her and high-fived her and were genuinely happy to see her. After greeting the children she had them get back in their lines and then praised them for a job well done. I was introduced to the teacher of this group. Her name was Ms.Sosa. Ms. Sosa told me that she teaches K-4 and explained that K-4 is the Kindergarten Readiness Learning Program. As Ms. Melissa and I continued on our tour we passed the infant room for 12-18 month olds. As I peeked into the room I could see the teacher playing with and engaging the children down on the floor. They were smiling and laughing. They looked to be having a great time. I believe I was told her name was Ms. Ellie. Some of the play equipment seemed a little dated and could use and upgrade, as could the parking lot. Overall, I am very satisfied with this place. The teachers sense of safety and awareness when it comes to the children is absolutely on point. As a parent, some would say and overprotective one, my child's safety and happiness are very important to me. I genuinely think that this is a good, healthy environment where children would be able to thrive. I would be confident putting my child in the care of this facility. I would encourage you to do the same.

1st Step Early Learning Center
It is quaint and cozy and makes me so happy every day that my daughter attends a place where the staff genuinely care about her and her wellbeing. I go to work every day trusting the amazing ladies and parents themselves with my treasure and never worry. My daughter has been going there since she was 3 months old and now that she is 12 months, she is so social and is so happy to see her friends and teachers every day. If parents have any questions, concerns or difficulties, Ms. Brenda addresses them immediately and is so accommodating. I highly recommend this wonderful place for any child.

La Petite Academy
I would not recommend this facility to anyone. I enrolled my son and within a couple of months I knew I made a mistake. The staff were not helpful or nice. Within the couple of months of being there we experienced several staff members quit including the director/manager. They never informed us or kept us up to date about the changes. Several times while dropping off or picking up my son I would see and hear the teachers YELLING at the children. Not the kind of yelling like let me raise my voice because everyone else is loud, but the kind that is never ok to speak to a child.

The Goddard School
I was very disappointed the professional abilities of the Kinder/After school teacher. She did not seem to particularly enjoy the presence of children, she was totally overwhelmed and stressed out, and it was obvious that she lacked the basic knowledge of how to successfully guide students of this age group. We signed our son up for the after-school program having no other option for pick up from his school, and fortunately we were able to adjust work schedules so that he would not have to come here. Our son had not attended even one day when I notified the director (5 days after regrettably enrolling him) and she told me they would be keeping the nearly $300 for tuition despite the fact that they had not provided care services. With the sub-par teacher, lack of professional reasoning, and urgency to take money without providing services, it is clear where the priorities lie here. You'd be better off somewhere else!!
