The movie theater in Perry changed hands in April 2012 and the new owner and his wife did a huge amount of work on the place; upgraded the sound system, removed the smelly carpet, renovated the lobby and concession area, installed a ticket window, etc. The web site is now www.Perry3.org.
Before the ownership change you had to bring cash as it was not equipped with computers or credit card machines. That has all changed. The place now looks and feels like a movie theater.
** It's a little hard to find (behind a shopping plaza / Jin Jin's Restaurant and Kentucky Fried Chicken). Tickets and concessions are still very reasonably priced.
The theatre itself is a little run down but the seats are comfy and the prices are low. The snacks are reasonable and there are free one time refills on popcorn and soda. They have all the newest movies and the sound and picture are good. If you're looking for fancy, this is not your place but if you just want a pleasant affordable night out then this place is for you.
