Diversified Flooring & Remodeling
This is by far the most pleasant experience I have ever had when having work done to the house. Tracy and his team were hired to do tile in a my bathroom they did such an amazing job I hired them for my entire kitchen remodel they did it all, always there when they said they would be, didn't leave any messes for me to clean, and they made my new dream kitchen look even better then I hoped for. I will hire them for any home improvement project I have again, I strongly rate Diversified Flooring and suggest to everyone, to do the same... Next month we remodel the Garage!!

I dont really have time for internet reviews but , my mother needed new carpet and bathroom flooring we saw their commercial on t.v ..promising so sort of ridiculous sale and it was real they beat her estimate from lowes by almost half and had it put in 4 days later the office staff and especially the installers were fantastic mom said the men installing her carpet moved her furniture with care and that really went a long way with her.. so she wouldn't let me rest until i got on here for her review posted by Kathy M.

Smith Family Carpets
Love our new Floors! Everyone there is friendly and very helpful. We had new tile and laminate flooring installed through our whole house. We were able to take home samples and Barron came out and measured. The installers were professional and very friendly. Looking forward to going back to order back splash for my kitchen.

Rite Flooring Supplies
I recently had some work done by Rite flooring. Richard was extremely helpful and fixed my floor and kept me informed of the work being done. If I need floor work done again I would be sure to call them. Their cost was reasonable as well. I was a very satisfied customer.

Central Hardwood Flooring
Central Hardwood Flooring redid my 1920's hardwood floors. They turned out beautifully. They were prompt, didn't waste any time and used a system that kept the dust out of my house. Patricia H.

Lowest prices I've found in town. Was a speedy install, with friendly installers too. Would definitely return and have told all of my friends.
Tips & Advices
In most states, contractors are required to have a license before taking a job. Some states also require registration. To be licensed, contractors must pass an exam and meet certain qualifications that prove he or she is a competent flooring contractor. Registration is simply a list of who will be performing a job.
The time it takes to install flooring depends on the type of flooring and the size of the room or rooms involved in the project. In one day, a typical contractor can usually install up to 2,000 square feet of carpet, 600 square feet of hardwood or laminate, or 400 square feet of tile or stone.
  • Do you have a professional license, insurance, and a business liability policy?
  • Who will work on the project?
  • Do you subcontract, and do you screen workers and have insurance policies to cover them?
  • Do you have references or examples of your work I can see?
  • Do you charge for an in-home estimate?
  • What type of flooring is best for my home in terms of architectural consistency, environmental influences (such as whether a certain type of flooring will be affected by humidity in my area), and durability?
Legally, insurance is not necessary, but it's a good idea for flooring contractors to have it. When hiring a flooring contractor, ask whether the business is insured. If it's not, consider that a red flag.
A flooring contractor should know the pros and cons of each flooring option. These might include pricing, time of installation, durability, and average lifespan of the material.
