Kellianne's Dog Shack
I have good news for everyone searching for a fantastic groomer for their beloved baby. I found this groomer after mine had relocated, omg the difference was night and day as to the quality of the groom. also dog shack offers more detail options than any other groomer in Pensacola,fl. that I have found. from brushing teeth, painting nails and more. they are wonderful. plus the price is comparable with all the rest , but you get so so much more for your money. call them today for a appointment you will be so happy and your baby will be also. saw on here where people were complaining about their baby not ready when they came at time said, well you can think of this as a fine restaurant you might have to wait but oh it's so good when you get it. if they weren't good they would have no busy business. they always call when they are ready. chill out. I promise it's worth the wait . 850-9443227

Sun Dog Grooming Parlor
Sharon is the dog woman. She has a way with all the dogs she has as clients and even the walk ins that happen on occasion. What I really admire about her shop is that anyone who walks in gets a nice greeting and it is very welcoming. Sharon takes the time to get to know the dogs and not until they are comfortable will the wash/dry/grooming take place. Another "plus" is a complete view of what goes on inside. There are no "back rooms", hardly any dogs in kennels, only the ones waiting for their limos to arrive. Your dog will have a great day at the groomers. They walk out happy and they smell good too.

Shampoochies
We have two cocker/retriever mixes who developed knots and tangles as their fur grew out over winter. Some were so close to the skin they were impossible to brush or cut out. Our dogs were also not big fans of our messing with the knots. Rise did an amazing job of removing all knots and tangles. When I picked up our "kids," they looked amazing. The best part is they are happier and more active since they got their new styles. They will definitely be visiting Rose and Shampoochies again.

Kellianne's Dog Shack
Excellent service! I had a bit of a puppy grooming emergency when my pup walked into some thistle. It was in his eyes and ears and let's not forget his little body. With no appointment they took him right away and cleaned him up. May I add my little one was abused before I adopted him and he is very nervous. They took such good care of him I will be back for sure! Thank you for your wonderful service!

Blue Angel Pet Salon 3
Blue Angel Pet Salon #3 has been a wonderful find. My three large dogs enjoy going to their "spa" day. The staff is friendly, fun and obviously like their jobs and clientele. They do a fantastic job and do not raise their price every time I walk through the door. They obviously expect a few knots on dogs with long hair. Thank you Joseph, Vanessa and Leroy for a job very well done. You are awesome!

Blue Angel Pet Salon 3
Me & my husband have been bringing our long haired chi's (boys) here for about a year now to see Miss Vanessa. She does an excellent job on them & we always love the way she has clipped them. We also bring our short haired chi & 2 doxies (all girls) so they can have a day at the "spa" & get all pampered. They always come home with their nails painted & I just love that.

Avalon Mobile Grooming
Sharon takes great care of my pet. He has hip dysplysia and she knows how to handle him with her experience as a veterinary technician. She uses natural products on him. I even emailed her on a sunday about a hotspot and what I could do for it. She emailed me back and told me what I could do for his skin. It healed very quickly. I would highly recommend her.

Veronica use to own this shop. She is a excellent pet groomer. She has opened up her shop now in Lillian Al. I must say I am so happy and pleased that she is in our community. Almost every house here has a pet in Perdido Bay Oaks. We welcome her. You can reach Veronica at 251-256-0008. You won't be disappointed... Believe me!

Kellianne's Dog Shack
I have been using Kellianne for years and was excited to find out that she had opened up a new business. The location is amazing, she has really turned the building into a top notch pet salon. I have used other groomers in the past, but I guarantee that Kellianne is the absolute best in town.
Tips & Advices
Some pet groomers have viewing areas where owners can sit and watch their pets being treated. Most prevent owners from being in the same room as the pet, however, as the owner's presence might cause the pet to become too excited.
Pets that cannot interact with strangers do not make good professional grooming candidates. Sometimes medication can help, but some groomers don't take animals that have been sedated. If a pet becomes too unruly, a groomer may end the session entirely.
It's best to fully vaccinate pets before bringing them to their first grooming appointment. Dogs should receive the DA2PPC vaccine, which stands for canine distemper, canine andenovirus type 2, canine parvovirus, and parainfluenza. It's also a good idea to vaccinate dogs against Bordedatella (aka “kennel cough”). In fact, New York City requires dogs receive both DAPP and Bordetella shots. Cats, meanwhile, should get the FVRCP vaccine: feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus infection, and panleukopenia. In addition, all pets should be up to date on their rabies shots. Owners should wait at least 24 hours after getting their pet vaccinated before bringing it to the groomers.
Technically, there is no such thing as a pet that is too old for a professional groomer. In fact, older pets with joint or mobility issues often can't groom themselves and need someone else to clean them. However, pets that are blind, deaf, or have serious medical issues might not do well at a groomer, especially if the person is inexperienced. Owners should feel free to ask potential groomers about their understanding of elderly pet issues. Often, older pets will exhibit puppy-like behavior and squirm or yelp during grooming. Alternatively, they might not be able to stand for long periods of time. As such, grooming an older pet usually takes more time than grooming a young one.
Puppies and kittens should be at least 10 weeks old before their first professional grooming session. They should be used to being gently handled by strangers and comfortable being separated from their owners for a few hours at a time.
