Tibet Nepal House
We ordered the chicken tikka masala, alu gobi, the yak wontons, and garlic naan. The overall taste was average at best with some dishes tasting bland and under seasoned. I even had some chicken that was undercooked. However, I did enjoy the garlic naan and the imported beer from india. Very refreshing. The service is good. Btw they do not validate for parking at least when we went on 07/02/16. For a quick fix this places is fine but i do not recommend the lunch buffet.

Meat District Co.
When I ordered the "meat hook", I didn't expect that it would literally be a hanging hook with meat on it, but it was. Eating from it took some getting used to, but overall the quality of the meat was excellent. Also, the grilled melon was surprisingly good (and a solid vegetarian option, if you're into that kind of thing). The truffle mashed potatoes were awesome as well.

Duke Bakery
Asian breads can be sweet or savory, and have subtle flavors. Duke Bakery makes some of the best around. Try the chocolate bread with mild cream cheese filling, or the savory breads with spices and mozzarella. One bread is large enough to share, and prices are good. Store is clean, cool and inviting.

Slater's 50/50
The appetizers are good but I'm not impressed with the burgers. They sound amazing but after coming here twice it's just not memorable. I've tried the 50/50 and the pastrami and both were good but not spectacular. The mac n cheese balls are worth trying but their onion rings are too oily.

Chim! Thai Street Food
I was in the area last week and saw a sign for "thai street food" and had to immediately make a "legal" u-turn. This place is great, the food is outstanding and very reasonably priced. I will definitely be coming back to Chim! Great addition to the Pasadena food scene.

This is a hidden gem in Pasadena! The food is amazing! We ordered yak chili, chicken mahkni and lamb. Everything here can transport to the lands of many spices , Tibet. Highly recommend this restaurant also because the service is exquisite! The ambiance is perfect.

Nikka Fish & Grill
My new favorite seafood spot in old town Pasadena. Great quality, good portions, and great ambiance. They also have m-f happy hour until 6 pm (includes drinks and appetizers).

Celestino Restaurant
It's a nice cozy Italian place on Lake Ave. Sometimes I feel that the tables are little too close for my comfort. The food is pretty good. My wife really likes this place.

Best Mediterranean food I had on west coast. They have set the bar so high that now I don't like mediterranean food in normal place.

Just a moment...
