YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

At Royalty Pet Care we treat your pet like Royalty. We emphasize one to one pet care. We know the importance of caring for our pets like family, like we'd want to be treated. We hold years of experience in pet care. Being a Veterinarian Assistant for 25 years helped me grasp the knowledge and experience in how to handle different types of temperaments with the patience and caring hand necessary. Upon setting out on our new venture of building our business we took into consideration many factors. This needs to be a place that pets can feel at home when their parents are away, unlike a kennel. The atmosphere must instill happiness, warmth and well-being. Not only do we want your companion to feel at home but we want their owners to feel at ease. We plan to set forth this plan by tending to the needs of your pets. If they need more attention we can certainly provide the time. We have a daily schedule of activities as well as nap time for our guest, which will make for a fun filled day. To ensure their safety the following immunization are required: Canine: Bordatella, Parvovirus, DHLP, Rabies Feline: FVP-CP, feline distemper, feline viral rhinotrachetis, calicivirus, panleukopeni Sunday by appointment only

THE WORST groom my dog has ever received accompanied by the some of the most shocking, horrendous service I have ever been subjected to. \r \r Customer Service is NOT A PRIORITY at this facility. Bathe R Doggie is apparently incapable -- and at the very least, HIGHLY INCONSISTENT -- of the friendly service promised nor delivering the custom ""anything-in-between"" groomings mentioned on their website. Small mats are shaved rather than combed out. The intake of new clients and the pre-groom consultation was abrupt and abrasive. And ultimately, when the dog received a poor groom, complaints were met with defensiveness and rudeness by both the front desk representative and owner.\r \r
10.J & G Pet Grooming
1646 E Washington Blvd
The first time I took my dog here I thought it was a little high priced but the location was convenient. When I picked up my ten pound dog, I was somewhat satisfied with the grooming. He skipped clipping between the paws and pads of the feet. The second time I dropped off my dog I reminded him to please get in between the pads. I paid the tip up front because I was not sure if I would be the one in my home to pick up the dog....stupid me. When I picked my dog up he had raised the price from the last service with no warning, still missed her pads, and would not give me my tip back. Then he argued with me. After it was all said and done I paid $55 dollars to have my 10 pound dog shaved, no shaping, no specialty cut just shaved and it was a crappy job. Shady business, poor service, horrible customer service. If you take your dog here get everything in writing and be prepared to tell this amateur how to properly trim a dogs hair.

My family has been going here for twelve years. it started out as just being her and now it is jammed with dogs. they would not take in my family's dogs because they had a new customer. However the pet boutique next store is great. Pat's pet Grooming is something you can afford to miss.

We started going to I Dig My Dog shortly after they opened and took advantage of their expertise in training, boarding and pet supplies. It's great to have a local spot that isn't part of the big 'chain', where you can be on a first name basis with everyone. Highly recommend.

I had a pleasant experience with the folks at Cat Clinic. One of my cats was a little cranky but the Doctor dealt with it with ease and good judgement. I would recommend them highly for all your cat care needs.
17.Animal Medical Hospital Of Pasadena
2116 E Colorado Blvd
We recently rescued a partially deaf and partially blind cat. She is all white with beautiful blue eyes, very small (a "runt") and a bit skittish, though very sweet. After bringing her back to health, stabilizing her diet and socializing her with our other animals, we took her to Animal Medical Hospital to be spayed. With so many other animals in our care, we needed to find a vet that would provide good medical care for a good price. The staff is mostly caring and kind, and seemed to appreciate that we were trying to give this cat a good, safe home. Following her surgery, our cat nearly doubled her weight and is now quite healthy overall. When our older dog, a shepherd-chow mix, started having difficulty walking up stairs and had some trouble with his back legs, we took him here to be checked out. As we suspected, he was suffering from arthritis with no hope of reversal, which is common among shepherds. The vet assured us that this disease advances quite rapidly in dogs, and after answering all of our questions, he told us that our beloved dog was in quite a bit of pain and the best option for him would be to put him down. Before making this heartbreaking decision, we asked the doctor to walk us through everything one more time - any possibility of treatment options? any medication or surgery possible? anything to save our dog? He showed us x-rays, and explained that the dog's back leg muscles had begun to atrophy. He also took the time to assure us that we'd already done everything possible for our dog - health exams, glucosimine treatment, etc. - but that it was just "his time." Tearfully we made the decision to say goodbye to our beloved dog that day. I was too distraught to stay in the room while the procedure to put him down was done, but my son was allowed to stay by his side until he took his last breath. Before he went down, one of the technicians assisting the doctor was kind enough to remove a muzzle that had been put on our dog when we first arrived (he never did like going to the vet!), and the tech also made sure we took possession of his collar and tags before we left. After our dog was gone, the receptionist explained that we had options as to how his remains would be treated, and she was kind enough to give us a day to make a decision on what we wanted to do. Even though this last experience was very sad, we were treated with care and compassion by the doctor and his staff. As a result we'll be transferring the rest of our pet's care to Animal Medical Hospital in the future.
18.Pasadena Pets Veterinary Hospital
2850 E Foothill Blvd
This facility seems to be fine for routine care, but they really seem to fall down when it comes to other things. Case in point: if you have a pet that you've just spent hundreds of dollars on to find out that they have cancer and should be humanely euthanized, would you call, expecting a sympathetic ear based on these reviews? What do you get instead? "Oh, we're sorry, we're not taking any new clients right now." Oh, BTW, so you won't take my pet even though she had an appointment 2 days from now? "No, but we'll go ahead and cancel that appointment." Yeah. Good job. Lots of empathy there. make sure your pets have their flea meds. My indoor cat, who doesn't have fleas, spent a day there for a biopsy and picked some up. Which also happened to carry typhus and knocked me down for two weeks. So, being responsible and wanting to let them know, in case anyone else has gotten sick, what do I get? Defensiveness, attitude, denial. Good show office staff. Ignore the fake reviews on Yelp
19.Eye Care for Animals
150 N San Gabriel Blvd Unit 100
They can careless about your pet's eyes. They only care about that you pay them for everything they recommended at a very steep price. Did not take their time to diagnose my dog's eyes and recommended all kinds of useless things such as a wrong kind of medicines and a dog collar. Definately get your second opinion at a different location. You will see the difference.
20.Whiskers To Tails Cat Hospital
156 S Rosemead Blvd
Dr. Iburg’s practice emphasizes allopathic medicine – meaning lots of prescriptions and surgery, with almost no natural treatments. During my cat’s hospital stay for chronic renal failure, Dr. Iburg failed to properly consider the effect of I.V. fluid therapy on existing anemia. Despite a PCV reading of 21% (below 30% indicates anemia), Dr. Iburg administered a second 3-day course of I.V. fluids during which my cat’s PCV dropped to 15% indicating severe anemia, necessitating a transfusion to save his life. Worse yet, Dr Iburg neglected to recommend an iron supplement. A few weeks later, she (and a substitute vet) misdiagnosed my cat when I brought it in for respiratory distress. Dr. Iburg now rarely directly interacts with clients, instead relying on “walk backs” in which your pet is examined without your direct feedback, lab results and treatment protocols are given to you on the phone by staff members (sometimes by the receptionist!), and worst of all, Dr. Iburg does not return phone calls. Communication is very poor: Diagnosis, prognosis and treatment protocols are rarely explained in detail, especially when done by staff on the phone with no opportunity to ask the doctor questions. When I asked for prescriptions instead of buying supplies and medications at up to a 600% markup from her, she obliged but only gave refills on one or two items. Most of the time, I had to call or come in for a paid visit every time I needed a refill. On one occasion, Dr. Iburg made me wait for over two hours for a prescription! My dissatisfaction with Dr. Iburg and her office came to a head when she refused to refill a prescription till 21 days had elapsed or to return my phone calls. My cat was sick and needed extra doses, but Dr. Iburg would not refill the prescription even one day early or offer any explanation for her behavior. On the 21st day, I had to go to her office twice to BEG for the refill. For days, I had pleaded with the office to have Dr. Iburg return my calls, but was flatly refused. I finally delivered a letter to her office discharging her as my cat’s vet. Later that night my cat died. Dr. Iburg abandoned my cat when he needed her most. About a week later I was finally able to visit the office and talk to her. When I asked her why she didn’t return my desperate pleas for help, Dr. Iburg smiled and told me that the front office sometimes takes it on themselves to “protect her” when she is busy! Owners with healthy cats who need only routine care might consider Whiskers To Tails: but if your cat has a chronic illness that requires frequent testing and examinations or emergency visits I would stay away. You should also stay away if you expect to have a meaningful dialogue with Dr. Iburg, expect her to answer questions on the phone, or to even return your phone calls. Dr. Iburg’s office is now closed on Wednesdays, meaning that she is accessible only 4 ½ days a week, test results are delayed by one or two days, and wait times for appointments can be 7 days or more. On July 7, 2009 I requested the medical records of my cat. Under Business and Professions Code section 4855, Dr. Iburg was obligated to provide them to me in a timely manner. Twenty-four days later I finally received them, with a note of condolence. A return phone call when my cat was sick would have meant so much more. 3-stars for years of adequate service, 0 stars for the current state of declining standards and for failing my cat and me when we needed her most - for a total score of 1 star.

\r Hello! I just chatted with Terry the manager at Petco, in Pasadena. I am looking for a potty training class with Michelle who gives the class. My lil' dog and I will definitely benefit from this class!! The people at this store are lovely and caring. So, I suggest that you go to ""Petco where the pets go"" for your pet supply needs. i placed a large order online and receive the products for my lil' dog. It's a lot of fun, too, for adults and children. You know, they have pet adoption programs. I love Petco. Therefore, I highly recommend you go there. Oh, lovely wardrobes for doggies and cats. \r \r God bless. \r \r Sunny Murchison and Lil' Sunny Lee\r Pasadena, CA

We have two older cats who are very shy and they love going to the Cat's Pajamas. The staff there ""spoils"" the boys and we have a hard time taking them home afterwards, because they love the staff so much. Friendly, Knowledgeable and Affordable. We live 15 miles away and have ""kennels"" closer, but drive because they are the best!
