Getting customers to replace things not necessary to replace is not the best business practice. An honest assessment would be to tell someone things that might need to be replaced in the future, but are functioning fine for now. Our society isn't built on making old cars run like new.

My wife went here for a sale on and oil change and the technician tried to tell her the car required synthetic oil (which it does not) and would cost 3 times as much. CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH. Needless to say she left.

Worst shop experience ever. I normally work on my own cars (I build race cars) but I had the extended warranty and went here based on the reviews. The had the truck for months and they charged the insurance company almost 4 thousand dollars and still didn't fix the problem. They told me it was going to be another 3 grand to fix and the insurance company said no way! Took it to another shop to find that Advance had mis-installed the timing belt. They also said it needed a thousand dollars in brakes but Just brakes redid everything for 3 hundred.

Hands down, absolute worse service I have ever recieved. The owner is completely out of line. Took my truck in for an alignment today 10 JUNE 2015 one of the techs took my truck for a test drive before hand. So I went outside as he was getting in. The tech drove my truck like it was a race car and red lined the motor twice in the short distance he went. (It's a manual) he came back and did not want to do business with them because of the way they were already treating my truck. So the owner got all high and mighty and started giving me and attitude. I called him out on it and he started cussing me out as I was remaining calm. He even threatened to pull up my address and meet me at my house. I've never had this bad of customer Service. I will be contacting the Midas corporate office tomorrow. He also said to come back to settle it like men. Nothing but threats from this guy. I hope to watch this store go down because of the owner.

Windshield damage from anything other than a vehicle collision (including vandalism, storms, fires, and animals) is often covered by optional comprehensive coverage. Drivers should keep in mind that some plans only cover the side and back windows but not the front windshield. Without coverage, drivers must pay the entire cost of repairs or replacements.
Small windshield repairs can be finished in 30 minutes, while windshield replacements take about an hour.
