NEVER GO TO THIS HOTEL! I went away for a romantic weekend for my husband's 48th birthday and was treated like a second class citizen. We were told by very RUDE management that we didn't pay for a lake view room and were disturbing those that had so we were not allowed to use there backyard lawn. (Lake view was booked otherwise we would have!) So if you want to sit and talk by the water you better have a lake view room! There was no beach like in the picture! We were locked out of the hotel on two separate occasions in the same day once in the am and once at midnight. When I went the second time to complain at 12am after being gone for 10hrs sight seeing and had to use the bathroom very badly, I had to crawl under a fence and walk around the building, I was threatened that they would call 911! I asked what kind of hotel they were running and why the room key didn't work and could they re-key my card again! I didn't call them names or swear at anyone! We then got a wake up call at 8am and was asked to leave the hotel, even though we had it booked for the weekend. Then management proceeded to call me derogatory names to my husband when he inquired as to what had happened. I was treated like we were a pair of punk kids who had no respect for others! That is the farthest thing from the truth. We were sitting on our own chairs having a nice time until management decided to harass us! I will NEVER go back. The rooms were laid out poorly, customer service was terrible! The air conditioner was loud and didn't work very well. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and we are big snowmobiler's and make several trips up north a year with family and friends! I will make sure they all know that the pictures are false advisement and they have terrible customer service! Oh and don't expect to eat in that town after 8pm!
