Baldwin Pediatrics
Stay far far away from this place! Was recommended to this office by a friend after my first child was born. During the 1st visit I had to place a $90 deposit down, never heard of this before but did it anyways. My first few visits went by no problem, but never got to meet the actual doctor either. After my daughter had an actual medical emergency and we spent two weeks at Shands, we came back home and made an after hospital visit to see Dr. Azam and update her on my daughter's new medical history. The Dr. would not treat her. The Dr. told us to take her to the ER, we asked what for? Dr. just kept repeating herself, take her to ER. We called our Doctors from Shands they said they would call Dr. Azam and speak with her. My Doctors from Shands told me to get a new local doctor. She is refusing treatment. After we left the office the assist called me and said if you aren't going to go to the ER we will have to call Child Services and report it. So then we get a visit from Child services, everything gets smoothed over and even Child Services said they haven't heard anything good about this place either. The Dr. didn't even touch her or examine her, but she still billed my insurance for the visit. I then requested a refund for the balance I still have on my account, they first gave me the run around about insurance not paying past claims. I called my insurance turns out they paid ALL the claims including an office visit we never had. Its really hard to go to an doctors office in panama city when we are in a hospital in Gainsville. INSURANCE FRAUD!!!! I brought this to their attention and its been 6 months, still no refund. As I said stay far far away from this place!!!!

The fact is that after it Legendary Beard issues elderly fitness care, a few of the responsibilities that need to be performed aren't first-class and in reality require specialized motion. what's worse is the records that when you consider that a few humans are not assured about addressing the problem of fitness care and the elderly. http://testoupmaxfacts.com/legendary-beard/

Dr. Ahmed Rezk Rainbow Pediatrics
If it weren't for Dr. Rezk's expertise, my newborn daughter's congenital heart defect would not have been detected. He arranged to have her sent to Shands where she receives the very best expert care and they tell me here continuously that it was a miracle if was detected by her pediatrician. He is a brilliant and caring doctor.

Bay Medical Center
After being ignored at GCCH I took my 78 year old mother, who had difficulty breathing, to BMC, where she was immediately admitted and treated. The employees were nice and professional, the complete opposite of Gulf Coast.

Bay Medical Center
Have had wonderful experiences every time I've had to have a procedure. Even when I had to stay for a week, I had a great staff taking care of me.

Serian, Kristine
I had been going to a different nurse practitioner for 10+ years but then in late June I broke out with a severe staph infection and was horrified when I called my nurse practitioner to find they would be on summer vacation for almost two weeks! I knew I couldn't wait that long and needed to see someone THAT day. So I began calling around to clinics in the area and asking their cash price (because I did not carry medical insurance at the time) and started to feel hopeless when they were quoting me these outrageous prices of $135, $180, I even had one of $200+! Then I finally found Nurse Practitioner Associates in the Yellow pages and they quoted me a reasonable price of $55! FINALLY! Something I could afford! They were able to get me in almost immediately and they had me in an out within a total of 25 minutes! Kristine Serian is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The office is quiet and beautifully decorated and will put you at ease. It does not feel clinical at all. So happy I found this place!!

Dr. Ahmed Rezk Rainbow Pediatrics
Being a first time mom, I have obviously been very scared about everything!! Dr. Rezk happened to be the pediatrician making rounds after I had my daughter and we immediately knew that we would continue taking her to him even though we had another Dr in mind. He was so on top of everything and genuinely cared about my daughter and also wanted to make sure that we were educated on issues and making us feel at ease. My daughter is 5 months old now and he has been by our side with her care and seen us at the drop of a hat on numerous occasions. We love his honesty and his kind heart and even my daughter is happy when she is at his office! I have recommended him to so many new moms, all of which have been more than pleased.
Tips & Advices
A child should see his or her pediatrician frequently during the first few years. Once the child reaches age 3, parents should schedule a doctor's visit at least once per year. Before that, however, the American Academy of Pediatrics suggests parents arrange visits according to the following schedule:
  • 2 to 5 days old
  • 1 month old
  • 4 months old
  • 6 months old
  • 9 months old
  • 12 months old
  • 15 months old
  • 24 months old (2 years)
  • 30 months old (2.5 years)
No, parents should call 911, an emergency physician, or a pediatric emergency physician if a child suffers an acute illness or injuries. Doctors in these fields are more qualified than pediatricians to handle emergency situations.
A well-visit is a routine visit with a pediatrician to track a child's development, discuss medical or emotional concerns, and receive immunizations and medical advice.
Yes, pediatricians provide immunizations for infants and children up through 21 years.
No, pediatricians do not have to be board certified. They're only required to have a state license. However, certification indicates a dedication to studying pediatrics beyond the requirements.
