Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Panama City Beach FL
My boyfriend and I went to Panama City Beach(7/22/15-7/25/15) to celebrate his big 4-0! I chose this hotel b/c of the reviews and the price, even though it said that it was about 5 minutes from the beach! When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised! The first thing I noticed when I walked in, was the smell!! It smelled very fresh and clean like it was just being cleaned...which is A-ok w/me! We arrived when they were changing shifts as told to us by one of the clerks(which was a smooth transition, not too much confusion). Our clerk was a bit non-personal and not very friendly, but not rude either, so I'll take it. We checked in and headed to our room. Now here comes the disappointment: The elevator was extremely SLOW!! And also there was a hint of a odor on the elevator(that eventually faded over time). Our room was EXTREMELY CLEAN!! The first thing I do when I get a room is check the bathroom and the bed/linens....very satisfied with our room! Throughout our stay the front desk clerks were very courteous as they greeted us on the way in and out! Also, when we checked out, Ryan(whom I told that I would leave good reviews) was friendly and made check-out a breeze! The hotel isn't on the beach, but it's about 5 minutes from the beach and shopping, so a very convenient location! Overall I will mos. def. recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again if I travel back to Panama City Beach!

Plaza Motel & Banana Peel
At a glance, you think twice about Plaza Motel, only because it's older and we're use to staying at modern digs. But I was surprised. It's a mom and pop place; cozy (small) but the location and price is perfect. Across the street from beach and walking distance to everything (restaurants, bars). Rooms are not branded luxurious but you are staying at a motel. There were clean towels in bathroom and no stains in toilet (yes, it makes a difference to me). Bathroom was clean. One dislike - bathroom is small and had no room for all my products while getting ready for beach. Television has cable; I could access internet on my laptop so wireless access was up and running. Not a lot of staff around but the woman at front desk was pleasant, asked where we were from, gave directions to various restaurants down the street and just tried to be helpful. They also have a little eating place there at the motel. Overall there is nothing wrong with the Plaza Motel. I followed my same rituals there that I follow at any other hotel. I saved a ton of money that went towards entertainment and food.

Plaza Motel & Banana Peel
When you're driving from Virginia to Panama City Beach and you arrive late, you simply want a clean bed to lay in. When I checked in, didn't look around at all, just wanted a room with a bed.Next day, I ate downstairs in their little dive and was surprised. I applaud the cook at their little restaurant because breakfast was great! Went to my meeting down there, returned to my room and watched TV while resting. Later during the afternoon, took the local newspaper to pool and relaxed. Peaceful 2 days that I stayed there (it was during the week). Not one problem while staying there.

The Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort
Wonderful place for families. This is a full service hotel to where you don't have to leave the resort if you didn't want to. They provide a variety of activities for kids through out the day and have a Tiki bar for the adults to enjoy some beverages at night (all day if thats your thing). There is an onsite deli that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and its all DELICIOUS. We have been 3 times and will be going back for a 4th. Take the time and go to the Sandpiper, you will be glad you did.. :)

Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort
We love the location so close to the beach, the heated pool and hot tub plus how clean and well managed the are here. I'm surprised they don't mention they are right next to Zoo World. So you can see the giraffes looking over the wall and hear the animals at night. It's like camping on a safari. Loved it! We are staying there in a 40 ft Motorhome with a tow car. Staying from Dec 15 to the 30th 2015.

The Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort
The place for families. There's waterslides, a lazy river ride indoors, a small mini golf, the tiki bar on the beach, and games and planned activities for us to do each day. When you check in we got a schedule for the week, and there's always something going on. We're glad we found this place, we'd recommend to anyone with a family for sure.

Plaza Motel & Banana Peel
Affordable, clean place to stay. Definitely on the budget side, not a lavish palace, but if you're looking for a place to fit a small budget then this place will do. You get the basics, room with 2 beds, microwave, small fridge and pool. Restaurants within walking distance, beach across the street. Small but affordable.

Panama City Beach Beachfront Rentals
This is a great booking agency for Panama City Beach. We found low rates and high availability using their online tools. And their customer service people were helpful and courteous on the phone. I'd recommend them to anyone looking to stay in the area and searching for a good deal.

The Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort
Enjoyed my stay here. Staff very friendly, room was clean and service was great. Only problem is sometimes front desk don't answer or they let it ring several times. Also wanted a drink from machine at the ice cream shop and it was not working. Still not bad.
