This place has a nice ambience; the treatment was good; food was tasty. Definitely try the world famous chicken dish - it was great. The Bollywood Dreams cocktail was good too.

The outdoor seating is adorable. It's a great spot for a dinner date. Food is excellent but a tiny bit pricey. Had a wonderful linguinie dish with seafood. Will defintiely go back and take my parents when they are in town...

This place makes amazing sauces. Friends who've tried things without the sauces aren't wild about this place, but I can't tear myself away from the enchiladas long enough to try those other things. It also has a great atomsphere, and really good prices for the quality of the food.

I went to lunch at the new St. Michael's Alley on Thursday. It was amazing. The new space has a bar, and casual tables, the colors are warm and inviting. The owners are were there to answered many questions my husband had about the 300 yr. old walnut tree made into the bar and the beautiful farmhouse windows. We started with the Wild Mushroom Cake with creamy garlic herb sauce. Fantastic, I had the Tossed Baby Green Salad with warm walnuts, and warm herb encrusted goat cheese, dried cranberries. The salad was delicious and filling. The cold crisp greens with the warm goat cheese was perfect. My hubby had a bowl of New England Clam Chowder. A bit different than usual with a bacon taste, big clams and potato, very good but different. He followed with a grilled chicken sandwich with prosciutto and fontina cheese on sour dough. Again, a mixture of texture and taste that works. We look forward to dinner next and having drinks on the new patio. Well worth the wait St. Michael's Alley. Good job we will be back with friends.

The gnoccis here are unbeatable. Order pasta. I'd rate the rest of the food only one or two stars. I haven't seen the drunk owner in a year or two but he was always nice to us and our young children. The wait staff is quick-moving (don't expect warm/fuzzy). This is more of a quick eats restaurant than a stay-and-chat-for-awhile or party place. It is such a small restaurant that no doubt, they prefer the tables to turnover quickly. Must make a reservation a week in advance or they'll be booked.

I've been a fan of this place since the mid 70s. Back then it was under the name of Pontillos. I compare every pizza I try to date to this place and few have come close. I moved away from the bay area some years ago and had the opportunity to frequent it again recently and was pleased they kept the original recipes and ingrediants. Even the menu board looked the same. There is a reason they have been in business for so long. Love the stromboli, it's my favorite. Don't plan on eating in though as it's mostly takeout aside with a single row of bench seating.

i'm writing about how much i love the salads at pluto's. i usually go to the one at santana row. just beware of going right at the lunch rush. too many people in line! i do wish they could find a way to be more efficient with orders. but once i get my salad, with the salami and pepperoncini and the cilantro dressing, and all the other goodies i picked out, i forgive them Everything!

We have had Chinese food all over the world, including China, Hong Kong, New York and San Francisco.......this is by far the best we have had! We enjoyed salt & pepper scallops, Minced chicken in lettuce leaves, tiger prawns, honey beef with garlic, fried rice and pea shoots with garlic. Each dish was excellent....beautifully prepared, flavored perfectly.......quality of the ingredients was outstanding. Go there!

A great place for pasta! Create your own pasta dish with a variety of pastas, sauces, meats and veggies. Many other dishes available. Parking in downtown Palo Alto is not always easy.

I grew up around Kirks Steakburgers and I can safely say they have not changed the menu one bit. And that is most definitely a good thing! I had no idea they had a location in Campbell, Ca. Historically I had been to their location in Palo Alto, Ca. If I could meet Mr. Kirk himself I would shake his hand until it fell off! Since the immaculate discovery of this new Campbell location I have eaten there at least fourteen times in the last two weeks. OK that’s a bit of an exaggeration however I would eat it every day if I could!!

I was pleasantly surprised when my friends invited me to Straits Cafe last week. I haven't been there for a while now and the place has changed! ---for the better!!\r The deco is so much subdue now...like the place has matured. I like the host, who was very polite and helpful. We went at Happy Hours and stayed until dinner. The drinks were only $5 unitl 6:00pm. Great value. The roti was still the best in town. The grilled sea-bass was out of this world. Definitely will go back again with my date.

My friends and I love it... The wait is sometimes sort of long but it's not too bad. Great place to get loud and have a great time with your friends. Sake bomb is the best. My friends and I can never get enough. I think I am there at least once a month for someone's birthday or just getting together with friends or coworker. My boyfriend and I enjoy going there very much also. Even though it's not quite a romantic restaurant but it has a great vibe if you enjoy loud music and people around you just having a great time.

Homma's is tucked into an alley with a really small hanging sign on the street as the only obvious indicator to passers-by of its location. If you can find it, you'll won't mind at all. The sushi is fresh and delicious. The brown rice is a wonderful change from the typical sushi fare. The atmosphere is simple to say the least, but what they're saving on decor is definitely passed along by keeping the prices low. I highly recommend it.
