5 Stars for excellent service & experience. Was referred by a neighbor who has been a customer for several years - They were quick to check out my overheating problem, called me with a estimate & delivered on time. Can't ask for any better. I have been back for an oil change & tire rotation and same service delivered.

Slicks Garage Rod & Custom
I paid $18,500 toward paint and body on two 1959 Cadillacs as both cars were stripped for the jobs. After disassembly, the cars mostly sat in the same place for a year. The cars were not completed months after the promise date they set. They were full of whiny excuses. I found out how they act after a few months in. The building they rented in Palmetto went up for sale and I got a court order for police to break open shop and get my cars out. I have a civil suit pending for breach of contract that is a month old that they are aware of. They have not responded to suit or accepted summons, which should tell you about them. Others have come forward with the same story and now they are under investigation by more than one Florida agency. Beware of their business practices. Both my cars were stripped at their shop and now I'm in far worse financial shape because of them. They're working to open a new shop in Miami (Slicks Garage Miami, LLC) and have hidden / removed their Facebook page for the business / Palmetto location.

I had some struts put on my car at Lex's Auto. I thought the bill was outrageous, but paid it anyway. I did research in the last several months and found out that they I over charged me $500, and that was from an absurd mark up in the parts. Steer clear from here.

Keener Automotive Inc.
Keener Automotive was an excellent choice. I was on vacation when my car alternator quit. Keener Auto is a NAPA service center. They had my car repaired in just a few hours. They were polite to me and careful with my car. I would recommend Keener Automotive to anyone who needs their services.

Rx Performance Products
Worse Parts sales I've dealt with in years. It's pretty easy to make money off drop shipping, almost as easy making your own products and shipping them although with little more hassle gets a much higher payoff. What saddens me is this business can't even ship their best product, self made, which is suppose to get their name out there (RX catch cans).I ordered CAI, RX Catch Can, and TB (basic performance items) 7Mar2013. They charged my CC quick 13Mar. Days later my CAI is drop shipped (they call manufacturer to send to my door and collect a fee). So I wait to install the CAI when the TB shows up, I'm told by RX 1 Week. 3 Weeks later I call, they say the item is boxed and on the floor, they will overnight it to me. I call 4 days later, still on the floor, they will over night to me. 3 days more I call, box is gone, don't know what happened, now a month and half later they will have to reorder the TB and Catch can so another week+ of waiting and maybe their track record of delivery will get better. I request refund and cancel order as its now well over a month and many promises (apologies) later.I've heard a lot of good things about them, but if they can't get their basics under control, what will happen when they screw up a complex order, tune, install= apologies empty promises, broken car. What bothers me further is they were Jonny on the spot to charge my card, and I've even had the time to pay off the card before I even had the products packaged and in the mail to me. ALL THIS AND I STILL HAVEN'T BEEN SENT AN INVOICE, actually no back communication of order other than the CC Charge. I'm sorry to say my feeling is success has the owner out playing while the company is left to fend for itself with inept employees. Look elsewhere for your performance needs or you might suffer as I have or worse.
Tips & Advices
Using a variety of tools and processes, many of which require specialized training, auto body mechanics primarily repair cosmetic and structural damage to vehicles after accidents occur. They can also enhance a vehicle’s appearance and performance by replacing and adding new parts to a vehicle’s body.
This depends on the severity of the work that needs to be done. Something such as paintless dent repair for a few small dents can take an hour. Whereas auto body repairs for damages caused by a major accident can take multiple days to correct.
All auto body parts can be repaired but there is a threshold for the level of repairs possible. Parts can be damaged beyond repair and would need to be wholly replaced.
Auto body parts can be made from a wide variety of materials, usually based on what the part’s purpose is. Vehicle frames body panels, bumpers, roof racks, and other items that need to be strong and durable are usually constructed from steel, which is known for its durability and resistance to rust and high temperatures. But aluminum is quickly becoming a popular material of construction due to its lightweight yet durable nature. Body kits and other aftermarket parts like spoilers and hoods can be constructed from one form of plastic or another.
Yes, the vast majority of car makes and models have aftermarket parts available for many of their components. But higher-end vehicles typically have less aftermarket parts available since they often use specialized materials and manufacturing processes that are difficult to duplicate for many aftermarket manufacturers.
