Nene Auto Repair
I brought my '96 Suburban in because it needed a smog ASAP and the engine light was on the for oxygen sensor. After he diagnosed it, Nene was able to tell me that one of the cats was bad and both of the oxygen sensors were shot. Nene offered to change both cats and sensors for an extremely reasonable price so I figured might as well, but he looked troubled when I told him that I only had that one day to get it fixed. But he shook it off and said he could do it no problem. After having the truck all afternoon I was a little disappointed because I figured I wouldn't have time to take it somewhere to smog it. But when I got back to the shop to pick it up, it turned out Nene had already got it smogged for me! I have a hard time trusting mechanics, being a girl who knows a lot about cars and having had a number of bad experiences. So when I say I was very pleased with the deal I got at Nene's and impressed with his skill and service, I'm saying a whole lot! I would definitely take any car back to Nene, and I've never had a mechanic I could say that about. Thanks so much Nene!

Nene Auto Repair
I had my car in another local shop and called Nene Auto Repair after having received their repair estimate which seemed out of line even though it was a big engine job. I talked to Rolando at Nene and he was able to do the same repairs on the vehicle for literally a couple thousand less and in less time than the other shop quoted me. I had never used Nene Auto Repair before and was so pleased with not only the price but also the excellent customer service received. I have always dreaded dealing with auto repair shops as I don't know about cars and feared being taken advantage of and charged more than I should. You need to have a mechanic you can trust and I found that with Nene' Auto Repair. Rolando was also great at calling me within a week after I had the vehicle back just to make sure everything was running good. Definite recommend.

King's Transmission & Auto Repair
I have been going to King's transmission for a few years now and I have never needed to look up online for a review of King's Transmission to know that I was being treated well and fairly. Joe, the owner, has always helped me out with any problems I have had with the car. He has given me fair prices on everything I have needed, ranging from transmission repair to simple oil changes, which he does quickly and for a great price. I am not here to advertise for them so I won't give an exact price for anything, but I do highly suggest that you call Joe and talk to him for all your car repairs. He will give a great price and take care of your car like its his own. I could not ask for a better mechanic.

Nene Auto Repair
I absolutely love this auto shop. The owner is friendly and very trust worthy, Any problem that you may have with your car, he can fix it. I took my car in because I was having trouble getting it to start, and my previous mechanic had told me that I had to replace a lot of parts. I wanted to get a second opinion, so i went to nene. What Rolando told me shocked me very much. i only needed to replace one part and that was the starter. i was relived. So since that day, i do not go to any other mechanic shop, that isn't Rolando. P.S his prices are very reasonable, and if you cant pay right away he will work something out with you. i highly recommend 'Nene Auto Repair'

Nene Auto Repair
Nene Auto Repair is the absolute best auto machanic shop that I've ever known. It is a family owned business that prides itself on integrity and quality services! Being a women and after running into numerous mechanics that try to over charge you because of your gender or lack of knowledge, I can honestly say that has not been the case with Nene!. I have been taking my cars to him for the past four years and his service is consistent and well within affordable prices. He is well respected by my friends and family! I've even had friends from the LA area use his services!! Victoria

There are no surprises with Jose and often the cost is less than what he quotes...It's great to have him and his wife here in Palmdale... Our family now takes all our cars to him....THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO....no need to go anywhere else to get your car fixed... Jose also does warranty work !

My first visit I came in with the intention of driving off the lot, I did not drive off that day but my salesman was very courteous and professional, he really gave me hope by telling me to get my down payment together and made an appointment for one week later- Today one week later I'm driving off the lot!
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.

Just a moment...
