Tire Kingdom
I came in for a tire balance and rotation using your online special for 19.99. I was greeted by Brad Jarrett, 159 and he was really helpful. I was woting in the lounge area and he came in to let me know about some other issues the mechanic had noticed with my brake pads and tire wear. He let me know the severity of my situation and was able to suggest services to be done there at the shop. Will, the mechanic went out of his way to balance the tires as best he could and when he found a bald spot on my tire, which also had 3 nails in it, he alerted me right away. He went over and above to get my full size spare down and install that and replace the bad tire in the spare location. He proceeded to suggest an alignment asap and neither of these men were ever pushy. They kindly asked for future business and the way that they conducted themselves is a sire way to gain future and repeat customers. I was very pleased and surprised to find an honestly helpful shop that wasnt trying to gouge me for money or threaten to ot give my car back until it was driveable. Many mechanics do this. I just wanted to write a good review for some good people. I will recommend this shop to friends in the future. Give these men a raise!

i GOT A NAIL IN my tire SUNDAY and made the mistake of putting "FIX-A-FLAT" in the tire. My Auto shop is closed on Sunday, and TIRES PLUS was not co-operating about finding out if they had my size tire in. (called me 2 hours later to tell me they DIDN"T, HAVE SIZE WITH THE "QUOTED PRICE") I was going to buy 2, but waited as long as I could without risking shop closing times.I called TIRE KINGDOM, and was told they didn't have an apt. available, but I could come in and wait. I went in and within 1 hour, was back on the road!!! Auto tech also showed me a neat trick with my "tricky" window-up button!WOW! Makes me want to wonder why I stopped using them!C. There was a noise that sounded like a brake problem when we were on vacation in Flagler Beach. I took it to A K expecting to be ripped off. The place doesn't look inviting but I was very impressed with the service. They looked at my car right away and after spending 15 to 20 minutes looking at my car and then told me it wasn't the brakes but a noise from the new ball joints. They sent me on my way and didn't charge me a cent. I would recommend them to anyone needing brakes or tires. Good People.

Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.
