Dr.Jones is far from perfect, however, he is a great physician. I started seeing him in Dec of 2012, after seeing Dr.Richard Wan in Morgantown KY. I was thanking God that I found a doctor who listened to me, and took the time to study my past involving an extensive medical history of not only physical diagnosis' but a history of mental illness as well. Dr. Jones also took into consideration my personal situation involving NO form of insurance and no income while awaiting my SSDI/SSI Hearing. Dr.Jones treated me no different, I was given the respect as any insured patient. Dr. Jones did not short me on time, did not cut me off or act as though he was listening when all the while, really be charting on another patient. (Dr.Wan and many other physicians are terrible about this and it is down right rude and demeaning!) I do not know where I would be if I still had to drive to that madhouse of an office in Morgantown every month still seeing a doctor who should be of retired well over ten years ago and who did not even remember what my health issues were from one month to the next-literally. Dr.Jones is to the point and he does not beat around bush, that in itself earned my respect from the start. As far as his office visit prices go, all I can say to that is "You get what you pay for." Dr. Richard Wan in Morgantown KY only charges $55.00 per office visit, go right on and make an appointment with him, he is accepting new patients as well! After your visit to Dr.Wan's for $55.00 you WILL KNOW WHY it was so cheap. I just want to say Thank YOU Dr.Jones for helping me and allowing me to feel comfortable enough to tell You anything, because patient-doctor rapport is everything!

I have been with Dr. Michael Jones since huge began at enclave family medical center. He is very good at not only listing to your symptoms but diagnosis as well. A lot of times people dislike doc because he does not hand out pain killers like candy like many other doctors do. The fact that he cares more for peoples health instead of promoting their addictions often times leads to bad reviews. Honestly Dr. Jones is one of the most thorough and earnestly caring doctors I have ever had. With my years of having to go see a doctor on a regular basis, and I have had to go to many. Dr. Jones has been the best. You may not always agree with his directions but when I follow them as directed it WORKS and that makes the difference.

I've been with Dr Jones for two years now and am compelled to write a positive review to offset some of the negative ones I have read. Succinctly stated, Dr Jones demonstrates an attitude that is professional and acts in an appropriate manner in regards to his interaction with me. My 80 year old mom is also a patient and has no complaints. As to the harsh reviews, I would like to caution those who choose to post such comments to be thoughtful and careful when attacking anothers reputation and livelihood.

I have recently started going to Dr. Jones and it was a very pleasant experience . He sat down with me and talked to me explaining everything to me to where I could understand it . He was in my xam room with me for a good 45 mins. I would recommend him. As a matter of fact I am taking my mom there next week. Just because you had a bad experience doesn't give u the right to drag his name thru the mud. And if u don't want or like the coffee don't get it!

I think Dr Jones is a wonderful doctor. He never has rushed me during a visit. He takes the time to explain everything. As far as I can say, from personal experience, he is very knowledgeable. He doesn't insist on unnecessary tests like some do. I have and will continue to recommend him.

Dr. Mike is a good man who has been exceedingly helpful on all my visits. It's a shame that there are several negative reviews when I haven't had a single bad experience with Enclave.

Tips & Advices
An osteopathic physician practices a comprehensive form of medicine that takes a holistic approach to a person's health. Instead of specializing in one system or set of organs, an osteopathic specialist focuses on the health of the total body. This includes evaluating environmental factors that affect a person's well-being.
Many family doctors deliver babies, especially in rural areas without a nearby OB/GYN. However, most family doctors only deliver for low-risk pregnancies and do not perform cesarean sections.
Family nurse practitioners are highly educated nurses able to provide medical care individually or with the assistance of another professional. Family nurse practitioners obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then take the National Council Licensure Examination to begin working as a registered nurse. Then, they continue their education and obtain a Master of Science in Nursing. Following that, they become certified in family practice via the American Nurses Credentialing Center of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, allowing them to become certified family nurse practitioners.
Some family doctors provide immunizations while others do not. Typically, doctors who work as part of a large practice are more likely to offer vaccines in-house. Doctors in offices of one to two physicians are more likely to refer patients to a public health department or other immunization provider.
A physician's assistant is a person qualified to perform routine medical services. This individual is professionally licensed and certified, but they may not have the extensive med school education of a doctor. That said, PAs do complete almost three years of postgraduate study and more than 2,000 hours of rotations.
