Bob Hamilton Plumbing Heating & AC
We recently bought a house and wanted to get the furnace serviced for the winter and check it out. Martin came out and was very respectful, friendly, and did a great job teaching me about our furnace and some extras that were installed as add-ons that we didn't really understand. He took the time to answer any questions and make sure I understood everything. I would definitely be comfortable having him back in our home. The only thing I didn't like was that after servicing the furnace, I kind of felt like I got a sales pitch instead of just being told what needed to be fixed and how critical it was or wasn't. I was offered different "levels" of service, with corresponding dollar amounts, of course. Martin was very friendly and respectful though and I never felt any pressure at all.

My tech Mohamed was amazing. He came out to check a bad A/C unit and I got so much more from him than just a service call. He talked me through everything. Educated me on things I didn't know and took time with me. I am a busy professional with no understanding of A/C equipment and I am confident in his knowledge. He definitely didn't try to 'sell' me anything. He explained everything to the fullest so I could make my own informed decisions. I was so impressed with him, I asked him to make a note on my account that the next time I need service of any kind that I only wanted him. So much so, I'd even wait until he was available. Trust and confidence in someone is crucial. 100% I believe in him, his skill level and he is beyond 5 star service. Stellar. Totally impressed. Thank you!

I can't say enough nice things about your company. We had a plumbing issue. It's been a nightmare from hell for the last 4 days.. Another company gave us an answer that just didn't make Sense.. We called you guys and explained the situation and a tech arrived within a couple hours and was here for 2 hours helping us figure out what was wrong. We were finally provided answers that made sense. And your company didn't charge us a dime to come out and help us today.. For that you not only earned my business for what needs fixed but we will Be loyal customers for life and refer you To anyone and everyone who Needs help! Thank you so so so so much for making our day better!

KC Plumber Pro
KC Plumber Pro responded to an issue I was having with a backed up bathroom sink in record timing. I made a phone call Friday morning (the day after Thanksgiving) to set up service and Chase was at my house within the hour to assess and repair the issue. The service rendered was safe, effective, clean, responsive, thorough and served up with a smile. KC Plumber Pro is professional, friendly, cost effective and responsive to the needs of their customers. I would highly recommend their services and will definitely be using them again if any other issues arise. Thanks again, Chase!

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services
As a landlord I take all my tenant calls very seriously. I received a call about a drain backing up in the water heater closet I knew I could have brand new carpet at risk of taking on water. I provided the Roto-Rooter number to my tenant to schedule the appointment. Roto-Rooter knew exactly how to handle the situation and called me with the estimate to approve the work. They arrived same day and were done in an hour. I appreciate working with quality companies who can help my business be great.

Good service, but terribly overpriced. They lure you in with the $48 service call, just to get you pricing. Refused to provide an hourly rate over the phone. He rebuilt a shower valve in less than an hour and it cost $500. That's over $400/hr in labor?! He was also kind enough to quote us on some other plumbing issues; $800 to replace main water value, $400 to replace sink faucet valves. There are plenty of other plumbing companies that provide good service at reasonable rates.

Matt (Bob Hamilton Plumber) was great during the annual plumbing inspection. He went through the entire house and checked everything. He answered all questions I had and was up front and helpful. Dispatcher was user friendly in ensuring we were home for the inspection as well. Con: up front pricing, while convenient, is a little more than you'd pay for a smaller, local business. But it is backed by their company...so, it's a pro and con i guess.

Goodness. If only all my professional service experiences could go like my recent experience with Bob Hamilton. Kirstyn was my technician and I can't remember ever dealing with someone who was as knowledgeable about the problem and as efficient in fixing the problem and finally as personable throughout the service call. What a pleasure it was to have Bob Hamilton and Kirstyn solve my air conditioning issues. M

Luke was very friendly and courteous when he was out doing major work on my house. He went above and beyond the typical service call and spent extra time making sure that the work was done thoroughly and correctly. Plumbing work is never fun but Luke and Eddy made the day much easier and solved all of my plumbing issues before they left after a very long and exhausting day. Thanks to the both of them!

KC Plumber Pro
As a single, professional mother, I am cautious about my service providers. A co-worker recently referred me to KC Plumber Pro to replace my water heater. Chase was prompt, professional and reasonably priced. He took the time to make sure I understood my options, while educating me about my home's unique plumbing needs. I am very happy I went with this company and would highly recommend their services.
Tips & Advices
The following tools and common household objects can be used to clean drains at home:
  • A plunger
  • A drain snake
  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Grease-fighting dish soap
Homeowners can mix boiling water with any of the last three products to break up grease and grime.
The main ingredients in clog removal liquid products are sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite. According to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, both break down into relatively harmless components when it comes into contact with water or soil. However, both substances cause mild irritation to skin and internal tissues.
Also known as a drain auger, a drain snake is a coiled device around ΒΌ-inch thick. To use a drain snake, put the end into the entrance of the drain. Turn the handle to force the snake deeper, using extra pressure to force it through the bend in the pipe. Keep turning until the snake hits the clog, then either pull the snake and remove the obstruction or force it through. Once the snake is out of the drain, run the water on full blast for a few minutes to ensure the obstruction is completely removed.
Plungers don't damage residential pipes, but the force created by the act of plunging weakens the seal between the toilet and the floor.
Many plumbers, both local businesses and nationwide chains, offer emergency or same-day services.
