Bad service..they put extra parts to your car without asking and will charge you. They put in one lug nut and charge me $10 for it without asking. I had an extra lug nut in my car. After paying and seeing that they charge me for it they wouldn't take theirs back

Awesome Transmission Specialists LLC
** BEWARE * BEWARE * BEWARE **Dealing with Harold Nero and Awesome Transmission LLC has been the worst business experience of my life. The entire ordeal was a scam and fraud orchestrated by Harold and backed by his sister who claims to be the owner. Both are very unprofessional, will rip you off and lie about everything. They are horrible to deal with in all aspects of the business transaction. Harry prefers to deal in cash so screwing you over is easier and then when you complain, his sister claims he is just an employee. He drove my vehicle for personal use in excess of 700 miles with a bad transmission. He made excuses and stalled for over 5 weeks. Had to involve the police to get the car back. He used rusty junk yard parts and presented them as new or didn't touch the vehicle at all... with the latter being most likely. I had t take car to a different business to actually get it repaired. Harry Nero is a crook and a con man. His sister is absolutely useless to deal with. Do yourself a favor and look for a reputable tranny shop. ** BEWARE * BEWARE * BEWARE **

These guys are very honest and trustworthy! They have technicians that are very knowledgeable with imports!! And they are much much cheaper than going to a dealer! Mark is the owner and a good ole' boy! If you want a place you can trust....this is it. I have been using them for over 5 years and tell everyone I know about them.
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
