I feel very confident recommending Sunshine. I trust that when they are performing an installation or providing a service call, that the job is going to be done correctly. There are few other companies of any kind that I have that level of trust and confidence in. I have had 5 A/C units installed and 10 A/C units serviced by Sunshine over the years that I’ve known them, the latest being installed last week. I never worry about the work being performed being anything but the best. I think the excellent work has a lot to do with the quality of the individuals involved and the company they work for. Jamie and Vince, and Jason with the latest installation, have installed the A/C systems and, when maintenance is scheduled or service is needed, Shawn and Ted always deliver. This is all made easy with a call to Renee, who works with me to schedule and coordinate everything, not always an easy task when dealing with my schedule. I have known Wes, an owner, since the very first installation. He has worked with me to install A/C systems that aren’t always easy to do and each has gone well: as designed, efficient, on schedule and always as priced. Together, these individuals provide a service that you can trust.

Me and my husband was in the market for a table and 6 chairs. The sales agent ( Roberto) helped me with locating the perfect one. He was patient and immediately understood what I was looking for. When I returned a few days later with my husband Roberto was there and remembered what I needed. Very helpful and patient. Since my husband works nights he arranged for the delivery truck to deliver the furniture immediately that day. Letting us know that the delivery charge would be 75, or if we wanted them to set it up it would be 120. They do sub-contract out the deliveries.When they delivered the table we were very pleased. But one of the gentlemen were going so fast that they bang the chairs against the top of the table causing a big scratch on the table we immediately called Roberto and told him of the situation. He spoke to the driver and they were to leave the set and come get another table. No charge. It did take them an additional 4 hrs to come back with the table replacement. Over all the experience that we had the warehouse was pleasant and we love our new set.

Island Air System Inc
I first contacted Island Air System about a year ago to fix my old Rheem central air unit. Sure enough, there was a coolant leak and possible compressor damage. Quoted me on a complete replacement, vents, grills, new copper pipes, new drainage, air handler, wireless thermostat and condenser. At the time, despite the INCREDIBLY low price he gave me, I did not have the funds. Fast forward to today, I kept Island Air System's paperwork, called them up and they remembered me. They came out and gave me the almost exact same quote, didn't even have it written down originally. Within a week, they had the units, the permit and began work. When the work was completed, they did a thorough inspection of the units to make sure it was working to specifications. The air was turned down to 74 last night and for the first time ever, the entire house was comfortable! I cannot stress enough, before you call anyone else, you have to call this company. I know for a fact, they will give you the most bang for your buck!

I started using Sunshine Air in approximately 2005 and was always very happy with the service. In 2009, we expanded our house and had to have the outdoor unit replaced (which Sunshine originally installed) to accommodate the additional load. Our contractor used a different A/C company. I was not very happy with them at installation. I continued using them throughout the duration of the labor warranty, and continued to not be too impressed with their service. As soon as my labor warranty expired, I switched back to Sunshine Air and have been very happy ever since. In particular, I'd like to note that I've had Shawn as the repair technician at our house addressing two unfortunate issues we've had with our unit this summer. Shawn is an excellent employee. He's prompt, honest, easy to talk to, and provides good technical service. He is a good example of why we continue to be happy with Sunshine's services.

You can not go wrong using this company. I would give this company 100 stars if I could . And a A++++++++ if this site would let me We have been using Sunshine Heating and Air for over 25 years. They are fast, honest and they back up their work. We have never had a problem with them. From the call to the office till when the service man leaves. They answer all your questions and they explain step by step what they are doing. When they leave you will know that the work they have done is done perfect and their prices are low and will fit your budget. And they give people over 60 a 10% discount. Now what company now day offers anyone a discount for work done? Do not take my word just call them and I will bet you from the moment the phone is answered till you hang you will be so impressed that you will not even think of calling any other company.

My A/C broke and I was looking for a good service company. I called several places and was not able to get an apt for 2/3 days. I found Sunshine on YP.com and gave them a call. I was very impressed with the level of customer service I got. I spoke with Judy and she was very knowledgeable and I might say funny too! She answered my questions ( I might add, she was extremely knowledgeable and very patient with me) and set me up with an apt that day. The technician Shawn came out and after a thorough check of my system, he had me up an going in no time. The cost was reasonable, and he didn't try to sell me things I didn't need. Kudos to this company!I have recommended all of my family and friends, and I HIGHLY recommend them to you. I will not take by business anywhere else. Customer for life!

Mr. Shaffer had amazing service! I highly recommend Shaffer Air. The knowledge and skill set was astounding. I have been using them for many years now and they have always been professional and honest. When there was an issue, the company took the initiative to make it right without me having to call them multiple times and without having to leave messages that are never returned (As I have experience with other companies).The people at ShafferAir are about the customer and they have earned my business for life. Many companies claim they are all about Customer Satisfaction, but ShafferAir is one of the few that that actually backs it up. Its just too bad they don't do plumbing and electrician services as well,

Facility Pro Tech
Chris and Greg are amazing! Our AC leaked and our kitchen ceiling caved in. They were out here and did all they could to get the process of moving in faster. Chris came out right away and fixed what he could and really educated us on proper AC terms and maintenance. We will be only going to Facility Pro Tech for all our AC needs and maintenance. They were so informative. Greg was a lifesaver and worked with us and getting everything squared away with our insurance. We will also be purchasing our next unit from them as well. Very trust worthy and they really care. Do not wait to be flaked on by another company and make Facility ProTech your first call. We wont be making that mistake again! Thank you guys!

Mills Air customer service was professional all the way from the secretary to their technician. Getting an appointment was easy and the staff was friendly. The technician was very knowledgeable and made all the necessary repairs, without trying to up sell me. He took the time to explain my new thermostat and showed me exactly what the issue was and what he did to fix it. My house is cooling faster and more efficiently than ever before. When all was said and done, the price was more than reasonable. I have used them in the past, and I will definitely use them in the future. Overall, another great experience, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

These guys are awesome!! John and Suzy are super-conscientious and did an amazing job for me. TWO reputable companies came out to inspect my outside compressor and said " its shot...you're gunna need a new one...but better yet...you better buy a new complete system for all the $$ you'll save in monthly power bills." They were dying to sell me a new system. John came in and said "hey...um...this compressor's under WARRANTY". He ordered a new one, installed it in a couple of hours and even changed out the refrigerant to a new type that doesnt' cost an arm and 2 legs if I should ever need a recharge. I'm REALLY happy.

If there is ever a dispute regarding payment over the course of the project, a contractor or subcontractor could place a payment claim, or lien, on your property. To avoid this, ask the contractor to sign a lien release, which is a legal agreement that states that any payment accepted is final. This can come in handy if a contractor has his or her own payment issues with their subcontractors. Signing a lien release form certifies that any payment made by a client to the contractor is enough to pay for any goods or services rendered.
Absolutely ask. Paying too much up front offers the homeowner minimal leverage if the quality of work does not meet expectations or contractual specifications. Try to establish a reasonable pay schedule, such as paying 10 percent of the total cost for each 10 percent of the work that is completed. Include this payment plan in the contract, as well.
Before any money changes hands, there should be a contract to sign. Make sure the specifics of the work and all costs are listed in the contract, including details. If you forget to have something included in the contract after signing it, there's rarely a chance of recourse.

You should also check your homeowners insurance policy to see if they offer coverage for contracted work. You may want to call your insurance provider and ask for more details on what your plan will and won't cover.
