Emerald Plumbing & Solar Water Heating
I recently purchased a 1925 home complete with all the old galvanized plumbing that had been cut into with CPVC over the years. I called them (along with a few other companies) to get a quote and fully expected to get raked over the coals. Not only was their quoted price well within my budget, they were the only contractor that actually followed up with a quote! That's just the beginning of the story though. Hugo is the re-pipe estimator and he is a great guy to work with.I am selling a house as well, and this house had polybutylene throughout. While I had never had a problem with the system, the house was over 20 years old and it was only a matter of time. Besides, the buyer of the property would have been unable to get an insurance policy and that would have killed the sale! Again, fully expecting to get sold down the river on price, these guys came in very competitively and once again, the only company to actually give me a quote in a timely manner.Highly recommended!

Associated Piping Services
I called late yesterday for a broken faucet, leaking sink, and other plumbing issues. I was offered same day service, but because of my schedule, I had them come out the next day. So when Fred came to my home today, he was well prepared, told me what was wrong, and my options to correct all issues. All work was completed, and he showed me EXACTLY what he fixed. I appreciate a local company taking care of my home improvement needs, being on time, professional, fairly priced, and most of all Honest about my options. Before leaving we talked more about this and that, but this simply confirmed more that I've found my personal plumber. I will use them for other properties and projects to come!

A-1 Septic Service
This company A1 Septic was amazing. I had floods in my house and when they came to pump my tank we realized it was a bad Drain Field. They came and gave me an estimate which was reasonable and while waiting for a permit they kept coming back and pumping my tank every 2 days to make sure i did not flood in the house again and did not charge me extra. They was very honest and easy to talk to. When everything was complete the owner came to my house to make sure everything was correct and i was happy. I will recomend them to everyone. A1 Septic is Number 1 Septic.

All Pro Plumbing
Got All pro to do a re piping of one of my investment houses. They insisted on changing out the tub. I agreed for whatever $$ they said. But what they did was ripe out the dry wall, take out the old tub, put a new one & just leave!!!!. As if their mommy will clean up afterwards!!I had to pay a handy man to put up green walls/dry wall & the bath wrap back on. Very dissatisfied by the way they ripped me off. I sent the manager many emails with pics attached & he (Jim Wray)didn't even bother to respond or explain.

A-1 Septic Service
I used this company a couple years ago to drain my septic tank they told me that a post had been placed over the opening so they punched a hole in my septic tank and the manager owner would not have the truck come back to seal the hole and did not want to spend the money stated that it would be just a little bit dirt that would get in there . That is a code violation n was wrong in so many ways it's created issues for me and I would never use this company again. Run call someone else

Emerald Plumbing & Solar Water Heating
I had an emergency situation in my home this week and was referred to your company through a friend. Help promptly arrived and “help” it truly was. Shawn Berube was my plumber and his professionalism and work ethic was truly exceptional. Actually, I sense that Shawn went above and beyond to remedy my problem.Anyone experiencing a plumbing problem would be most fortunate to have Shawn Berube and Emerald Plumbing show up at their front door.

The septic company we normally use would not be able to get to us till the next week. They referred me to Clear Flow. Never heard of them before now but needed the service. They got there an hour and a half after initial call and was finished less than an hour later. The best part was the guy put my sod back like it was never touched. I always have to fix and clean with everyone other company. They will be the 1st call next time.

Orlando Plumber - Jeff's Kitchen And Bath
I called around 9:30 AM and he came by just after 5:00, even after I had missed his call at 4:30. Problem was a bit more unique than originally figured, but he still had a solution to the problem. We spoke extensively about the original plumbing system in our 20 year old house and will be getting re-plumbed as a part of our renovation project. Good workmanship, good clean-up and very knowledgeable service.

Emerald Plumbing & Solar Water Heating
I wanted to let you know with how pleasantly surprised I was with the quality of service that I received today. Ian and Shaun did a great job in clearing out the slow leak in my tub in a very short amount of time. They took the time to explain the problem to me. It is nice to know I have a plumber I can call that is honest. I will be using your company for all my plumbing needs.

Tips & Advices
The following tools and common household objects can be used to clean drains at home:
  • A plunger
  • A drain snake
  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Grease-fighting dish soap
Homeowners can mix boiling water with any of the last three products to break up grease and grime.
The main ingredients in clog removal liquid products are sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite. According to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, both break down into relatively harmless components when it comes into contact with water or soil. However, both substances cause mild irritation to skin and internal tissues.
Also known as a drain auger, a drain snake is a coiled device around ¼-inch thick. To use a drain snake, put the end into the entrance of the drain. Turn the handle to force the snake deeper, using extra pressure to force it through the bend in the pipe. Keep turning until the snake hits the clog, then either pull the snake and remove the obstruction or force it through. Once the snake is out of the drain, run the water on full blast for a few minutes to ensure the obstruction is completely removed.
Plungers don't damage residential pipes, but the force created by the act of plunging weakens the seal between the toilet and the floor.
Many plumbers, both local businesses and nationwide chains, offer emergency or same-day services.
