Godley's Landscaping & Tree Service
This company could care less if they damage other peoples property. I watched them destroy my yard, ceramic garden statue, and mailbox. They could also care less if they waste your water by cooling down there wood chipper or just leaving it running on the floor as my hard earned money goes down the drain. And worst of all. I did not hire them. I've added several pictures showing the total disregard

Trinity Tree Artist
There is a company just arrived on the scene that is calling itself Trinity Tree Service, I established Trinity Tree Service in 2000 and have only recently updated the name to Trinity Tree Artist. Beware of fly by night roofers calling themselves professional tree men. I'm sure someone from their organization will attempt to somehow smear my good name and reputation, so, if you see any negative feedback just know it is coming from them. I have made my case for my company very clear throughout the proper avenues. Thank you

Absolute Tree Service
It's too bad anyone can post a bad review without any verification. I have been trying to get this Danny Jenkins review removed for awhile now. I wish I could put reviews on customers like him. He is a total control freak who broke the contract immediately. But I still continued on the job. He would not give us a draw to pay everyone. He told me how to perform my job and did nothing but complain about everything. And yes, my sub-contractors get paid when they complete their job. Imagine that. But I still continued on the job. It was a 3 week job, but since Danny Jenkins wouldn't give us the agreed draws I worked with a skeleton crew for 3 weeks and by myself for another week. I completed 90% of the job and he calls me a crook. It's the other way around. This guy had a general contractor friend pulling permits for his house renovation and then hired cheap labor to do the work. Non licensed laborer. And he controlled every move they made. In 30 years of business I've never had a more difficult customer. Since I couldn't and wouldn't complete the job he smears my name. What a joke!

Absolute Tree Service
Do not use. He stole 7500 from us. He said he needed money for equipment and pay his guys. Only no guys showed up. We ended up paying loads of the equipment directly. He claims he could not complete the job over we paid him 7500 of the 8K. He asks for Cash all of the time. He always makes excuses why he cannot show up. His daughter is sick, a family member died (Multiple times). he cannot even remember which lies he already told. We paid him for Bee removal service, then the bee company called us looking for payment again, because he did not pay them. He is a crook. I hope he gets shut down. We had to pay another big reputation tree company 4.5K to finish his work.

Precision 1 Tree Services
Excellent work by Precision 1!! I needed a large tree removed from my front yard. I called and they were able to see me same day. After describing what I needed, they went right to work! They finished by cleaning and hauled the tree away. Great pricing, would definitely recommend.

Beware! Please ask for proof of liability insurance and a contract. Also, do not pay cash!!! Get a receipt. This company damaged my property.
Tips & Advices
Do your due diligence and always ask for proof of insurance and certification before agreeing to any work. You will also want to be on the lookout for telltale signs of scams and be cautious of any company that:
  • Will not provide you with a certificate of their insurance policy or only has general liability coverage
  • Declines to give you a written estimate for the job
  • Gives you bids that either seem very low or very high
  • Contacted you out of the blue to see if you needed their services
  • Has complaints against it from business bureaus in your area
  • Asks for payment before starting work
  • Doesn't have a fixed physical address
Tree service companies are also great places to get your wood if you happen to have a fireplace. Many tree businesses offer free delivery and stacking of hardwoods, such as maple or birch. These can make for the best firewood because they burn slowly and don't produce as much smoke as other types.
If you want to add to the greenery in your yard but you're concerned about the right species to plant or where to put it on your property, seek the advice of an arborist.
If a storm hits and damages your residence, a tree service professional is usually on your list of people to call for help after first responders and your insurer. A professional service can completely remove a tree or just prune and saw off its branches if a storm damages a tree. After sawing or destroying the tree, professionals can then remove any of the dangerous debris from your yard by hauling it off.
Some bugs burrow through the bark and damage hardwood and softwood trees. Depending on the species of trees in your yard and the region of the country you live in, aphids, the infamous emerald ash borer or other pests could destroy your healthy trees.
