    If you like very bad customer service, put on hold and be passed from rep to rep with each misinformation, then lied to by supervisors and have you meds with held, then this place for you.

    I work for a physicians office as a referral coordinator and I'm sure this is inappropriate of me to say but this pharmacy is by far most AWFUL pharmacy to work with. They take too long to check benefits and schedule deliveries for patients. Once a delivery date is finally scheduled they quickly back out and cancel the shipment. Often times leaving our office high and dry using our own supply. Aetna- you are garbage. Take better care of your patients and the people forced to work for /with you.

  • Keep your records... forever!

    Over 2 years ago, my wife ordered some Supartz from Aetna Specialty Pharmacy, and paid by credit card. Just recently, they sent us a bill saying we'd never paid. Credit card companies don't keep records that long, and unfortunately neither do we. The phone representatives were rude and unhelpful, and interested only in collecting (again!) our payment.

    Then, after we set up a payment plan and had already sent our first payment, they sent the account to collections -- for the full amount! Apparently even paying twice isn't enough for these people.

    If you use these guys, insist on paper receipts, keep them forever, and still be prepared to call them many, many times to straighten out your billing. Use short words and speak slowly, is my advice.
