Renes Security & Training
Ok let's get something straight! I don't like people wasting my time and neither does Mr Rene. Plenty of students expect this to be some easy security course to breeze by and BS their way through it. Mr Rene is very serious about his courses and he does not take it lightly if you don't. If you're looking to get into security just for a check like some students then his course is NOT for you. If you want to learn REAL security and be great at it without any experience, then attend this school. I'll let you know up front Mr. Rene doesn't not like people coming to his courses UNPREPARED!!! Don't show up to his class without a pen and a notebook(not sheets of paper). You have to pay attention! He gives so much good advice that I write them all down. Any good student always takes notes. A wealthy guy I know tells me all the time, "Joe, a sharp pencil is better than a long remembrance." So please bring these BASIC items. Another thing, be ready to learn. Don't come late to his course. He is always respectful to his students. Enough about him now. His staff are very nice people. They all enjoy working their. The Students make them laugh at least in my class. So they joke around back and forth and we laugh together... Besides learning, we definitely have fun. They tell stories of experience and have guest come to talk to us. We've had former students who are now in the field come talk to us about what goes on in the REAL world. You just don't get that everywhere. THIS IS REAL SECURITY not that sit on my behind all day checking people in type of security. You will learn to be active and more importantly vigilant. Some students just can not deal with this level of training. Don't waste his and your time if you don't love security. He wants people who love the field. I know I love the field that's why I attended. I probably love it more than Mr. Rene Lol.. During the courses he helps people the best he can do, but that's only if you're willing to work for it. You have to be hungry. There aren't any slip through the cracks around this school. Everything you get, you have to EARN. One last thing, You can't please everybody and some students get mad and drop the course because He teaches real security that requires you to be on the move, consistently watching and protecting people as well as the client's property. In the words of Mr. Rene, This is not mickey mouse security over here! Lol Don't think you're going to be on your phone, sleeping, or coming to work intoxicated. If mickey mouse type security is what you're looking for cool no problem. This is not for you. Ladies and Gents, Don't be soft, Go here if your serious! End of story. Respectfully,JoeP.S. I'm currently in the D License course. Soon to be G, CCW, and OC Spray, Baton, and Handcuff certified."Security is for people with thick skin, you gotta be tough. You can't let little things bother you"- Mr. Rene

Mr. Rene' has been an inspiration to me. If I am writing this message to anyone that is inquiring about jobs in security, I highly recommend that Mr. Rene' is undoubtedly the right choice for you! This class is to be taken seriously! But, with that being said he makes it fun. He lightens you up with his jokes. You can have a good time in his class if you choose to, while understanding there's a time to joke and a time to focus and get serious. Come to class ready and be prepared to soak up all that you can. Mr. Rene' is setting you up for REAL situations that you will be held accountable for when/if you pass the class. He's professional and brings in speakers that were once in his class (which have came along way with many accomplishments of their own). There is so many opportunities to ask questions and really learn what being in security has in store for you. Over all Mr. Rene' made the experience great for me. He is motivating and honest. He's not asking much on your part, come to class, be prepared, focus, listen and pay attention. Not too difficult I might say. Respect him and he will respect you! Take this class! Highly recommended!

Total Onguard Protection
I had recently obtained Total OnGuard Protection for a rather large event last weekend in Orlando. After doing much research and reading many reviews, I decided to choose this company. I must say, compared to many other companies that i have tried in the past; Total OnGuard Protection proved that they are truly one of the best, if not the best security company that I have ever had. The guards were always punctual, professionally dressed, and very personable. I have never received any comments in regards to the security services at any of the events i have hosted, this would be the first. I had more than a handful of attendees who came up to me to let me know how helpful and friendly the security staff was. I plan on working with this company for all of my security needs in the future. I highly recommend anyone that is looking for a security company to go with Total OnGuard Protection!Thank you all at Total OnGuard Protection for a great experience!

Renes Security & Training
I recently took the class D, class G, handcuff , OC spray, baton, and my CWP, course classes and I must say Mr. Rene and his team was so direct and professional in their training I felt so comfortable and got so much knowledge from their own experiences that they experienced their self, not only that but a lot of their students that took the class in the past came back to show us were they work now and how much they also learned from Mr. Rene and Capt. nurse , I may have only known these two individuals for the time I spent in the class but I feel like I've made new friends with all the training and knowledge they have giving me I know I will succeed in the security business, I have nothing but good things to say about this company, also growing up as a young black individual ,Mr. Rene is a great role model with all his achievements in life, I recommend all youth to take this class and learn from the best and even adults to as well.

All I can say is WOW !!!!! When I first came to Rene's Security I had no clue how awesome, motivating and professional they were. Talk about motivation , they had me wanting so much more then just my D license. Now I have enrolled to take the G class and I can't wait. I know it's going to be a huge challenge but I'm ready. Rene is amazing. Cap. Nurse is a really funny guy, he kept the class interesting with all his real life experiences, he had me laughing and wanting to tell my family members and friends about it. Rene and Capt. Nurse sure make a great team. One of the best parts of the class was previous students coming in and sharing their experiences. All very sociable and eager to tell their story. Definitely a career choice that I want to succeed in. I am definitely coming back to take my conceal weapons class and every other class that Rene has to offer. God Bless them and their success.

From day one they make me feel like home. They know what they doing and make sure you get the right training before you go out in the real world. Now I know that some people might not like how Shef Renee talk sometime but trust me is for your own good cuz he don't sugarcode, he let you know the facts and how it is out there. Capt. Nurse is a very good instructor he makes the class fun, interesting, and beneficial at the same time and keep it 100% with you. This is one experience I will never regret because I learn something and at the end of the class I feel like I got more than I paid for. Anybody interested in doing security your best choice is to go to RENEE'S SECURITY ACADEMY! You won't regret it.

I completed both the D & G classes and the handcuff, baton & o.c. spray training as well back in October 2014. Cpt. Nurse has a great deal of information and knowledge that he will willingly share with you. He keeps his class lively and fun but serious. Sgt. Clough is a good instructor as well, he has a lot of the same attributes that Cpt. Nurse has.If you pay attention you will be successful, if you b.s. you will be dismissed. They provide additional training if needed at a very low cost. I've been to a lot of different training classes both in the military and as a civilian, this was one of my favorites. Oh and Mr. Rene is a beast at the range...lol!!! You better come correct or don't come at all.

I just finished my unarmed security training. It was an awesome experience. The class taught by Captain. Nurse was very informative and exciting I definitely got way more than I paid for. After taking the class I feel confident & well prepared to begin my new security career. Captain. Nurse is well versed in the security industry & eagrrly imparts his knowledge & experience with all students & still has time for one on one tutelage. The only bad thing I can say about the class is his hieroglyphic handwriting. I eagerly look forward to continuing my armed training with Renee's Security Academy. I would definitely recommend them as a prerequisite to anyone looking to began a new career in security.

Mr. Rene was a wonderful teacher and taught me so much! The other instructor is Capt. Nurse and he is also a wonderful qualified teacher and he is also very knowledgeable. They are very strict and firm people and have a unique personality but if you can’t handle them I don’t believe that you can handle the security felid. I would not suggest any other company if you want to get your D and G license. Also they DO NOT push you to do things you don’t want to they just want you to do everything that you can to better yourself and they will give you the push that a lot of us need to accomplish our goals. Best motivation ever

  • Cameras
  • Motion sensors
  • Alarms
  • Smoke, CO2, and flood detectors
  • Flashlights
  • Panic buttons
  • Door and window stoppers
  • Spot lights/floodlights
  • Etched window glass

  • Placing signs and sticker for security systems outside home
  • Personal safety items (firearms, stun guns, pepper spray, batons, etc.)
No, it is possible to install a home alarm system yourself. Some systems are specifically designed to be installed by homeowners. These systems are often cheaper and more customizable. However some systems require the expertise of a professional and installation should be left up to them to avoid making any errors. Review the specifications of the system and/or contact the manufacturer if you are unsure about its installation requirements.
  • Easy and inexpensive to install and does not require any drilling or modification of the home.
  • Does not require a landline.
  • Can be taken from one home to another during change of residence.
  • Can be combined with a hardwired system.
  • No need to change any batteries, as with wireless systems
  • No interference from other signals
  • All hardwired systems run on essentially the same technology so products and services from different companies will be compatible with each other.
  • If moving to a home with a hardwired system already installed, you can save money by bypassing installation costs.
  • New security equipment for these systems is less expensive than for wireless systems.
  • Can be combined with a wireless system
  • Hardwired: A system that uses cables to connect all sensors to a central control panel within your home. The cables are usually installed within the walls or floorboards of your home. The control panel then uses your home’s landline connection to call for assistance (police, fire, medic).
  • Wireless: A system which uses wireless technology (wi-fi) to connect all sensors to your home’s central control panel. The panel uses the established network to communicate with the outside for assistance.
  • A combination of hardwired and wireless: Custom systems can be configured to have a home totally hardwired and equipped with wireless outside communication (no landline), or have a totally wireless home and hardwired outside communication.
