I have never hired a mobile pet grooming company before, but I saw Orlando Mobile Pet Grooming in my neighborhood a few times and decided to give it a try. After all, if my neighbors kept using them, they must be a good pet groomer. I was delighted by the whole experience. I didn't have to get my dog, Lucy, into my car and drive to my regular pet grooming shop in Orlando FL fighting traffic. Every time we go for a ride she knows that we are going to either the vet or for a dog grooming appointment, and the poor thing shivers all the way there. The pet grooming technician was so friendly with Lucy, playing with her for a few minutes before taking her in to get groomed, and I got to stay in my home while she was groomed, it was great! Lucy came out looking better than ever. Thank you Orlando Mobile Pet Grooming, you will be seeing Lucy and I again!

Sparky's Pet Salon
This is a great little shop for grooming services. I've been going here since shortly after they opened and although there has been a few changes in groomers over the years (some good, some not so good), overall, the service has been better than average and the prices reasonable. The owner is super nice and I appreciate that he remembers the way I like my dog groomed so I don't always have to explain it each time. The tiny shop has a great intimate feel and I think my dog feels more secure there than in the big open shops with tons of dogs barking. I would highly recommend this to any of my family and friends who are looking for a good reliable place to take their pets on a regular basis.

Ruff Ruff Grooming
It is very refreshing knowing that our dog, Jackson, loves Mel as much as we do. I have known Mel and her husband for many years. Their love for pets goes unquestioned by anyone that knows them. It is unfortunate that this individual, "David A Miller", would say such slanderous and liable statements. I, too, happen to believe that this is a former employer or former coworker, who is just trying to make trouble for Mel. They were very unprofessional to Mel when she left them and they appear to still be acting very unprofessional. Mel, keep doing a great job and I look forward to you taking care of my parents' dog, Barker, real soon. Thanks for loving dogs!!

I LOVE IT! We tried Orlando mobile pet Grooming for our first time last month, they cleaned our little beagle and did an amazing job! He got washed and smelled great and his coat was so soft, it helped greatly with the shedding too! We got his teeth cleaned and he got his nails trimmed, he really looks great. Their mobile service is very convenient and equipped to provide quality services. The groomer was very loving and sweet and you can tell she has a great love and passion for animals, and our boy definitely picked up on that. We are thrilled with this grooming service. We will definitely be returning customers.

Orlando Mobile Pet Grooming are experts! I took my dog to a different pet groomer in Orlando FL a few months ago and that company hacked my dog's haircut. I did more research when looking for a pet grooming company this time, and that landed me on Orlando Mobile Pet Grooming. I was nervous because I didn't want to spend money on another grooming that was uneven, but thankfully my fears were demolished after seeing my dog looking better than ever after Orlando Mobile Pet Grooming trimmed and bathed her. Her fur was cut beautifully and I couldn't be happier with their grooming service.

My boy is always so excited to see the Orlando mobile pet grooming van and is nice, and relaxed and much more happy when they are finished. We love having them come take care of Wilson. They do an amazing job with him and are professional. The van is so clean and kept in mint condition. They are respectful of our property as well as our neighbors. I can’t recommend them enough. Especially for people with larger and older dogs that it takes a toll on getting them to and from the groomers. I always look forward to Wilson’s spa days with Orlando mobile pet grooming.

Pet Haven Grooming & Spa
For those of you who may have a concern from the disgruntled person who wrote the only bad review on Pet Haven Grooming and Spa, relax...I have taken my Dusty there for the past few months, since Karen Taube became the owner, and they are great with me and Dusty. The staff thoroughly enjoys what they are doing, they are highly qualified and professional in every way. I would never take Dusty anywhere else. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PET HAVEN GROOMING AND SPA...call and make an appointment today!!!

Talk about a professional, knowledgeable, punctual, loving and caring groomer anyone could ask for their pet. Orlando mobile pet grooming was everything I read on the reviews and more. Our first-time experience was incredible and we will definitely use them in the future. She took her time with our yorkie to make sure she was calm and looked good. Our dog went from a shaggy mess to a diva. Thank you very much for your hard work. I will definitely recommend your services to everyone I know.

Orlando Mobile Pet Grooming for the WIN! They did a great job, they were able to squeeze us in on very short notice to clip our dog's nails. She hates to have her nails clipped and has been very difficult whether we trim them or the vet. They came to our house, got all set up in this really neat van, and was done in about 10 minutes. Reasonably priced, quick, responsive, and thorough! Orlando Mobile Pet Grooming definitely has a new customer here. Thanks again!

My dog runs around in the backyard quite often, he just loves being out there. So in addition to his regular grooming and haircuts, I have to wash him every week, sometimes more. I started hiring Orlando Mobile Pet Grooming to do a weekly bath and brush for him to keep him clean and smelling his best, and they do a full grooming once per month. Orlando Mobile Pet Grooming is the best set of groomers I've ever hired. They do fantastic work!
Tips & Advices
Some pet groomers have viewing areas where owners can sit and watch their pets being treated. Most prevent owners from being in the same room as the pet, however, as the owner's presence might cause the pet to become too excited.
Pets that cannot interact with strangers do not make good professional grooming candidates. Sometimes medication can help, but some groomers don't take animals that have been sedated. If a pet becomes too unruly, a groomer may end the session entirely.
It's best to fully vaccinate pets before bringing them to their first grooming appointment. Dogs should receive the DA2PPC vaccine, which stands for canine distemper, canine andenovirus type 2, canine parvovirus, and parainfluenza. It's also a good idea to vaccinate dogs against Bordedatella (aka “kennel cough”). In fact, New York City requires dogs receive both DAPP and Bordetella shots. Cats, meanwhile, should get the FVRCP vaccine: feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus infection, and panleukopenia. In addition, all pets should be up to date on their rabies shots. Owners should wait at least 24 hours after getting their pet vaccinated before bringing it to the groomers.
Technically, there is no such thing as a pet that is too old for a professional groomer. In fact, older pets with joint or mobility issues often can't groom themselves and need someone else to clean them. However, pets that are blind, deaf, or have serious medical issues might not do well at a groomer, especially if the person is inexperienced. Owners should feel free to ask potential groomers about their understanding of elderly pet issues. Often, older pets will exhibit puppy-like behavior and squirm or yelp during grooming. Alternatively, they might not be able to stand for long periods of time. As such, grooming an older pet usually takes more time than grooming a young one.
Puppies and kittens should be at least 10 weeks old before their first professional grooming session. They should be used to being gently handled by strangers and comfortable being separated from their owners for a few hours at a time.
