Talk about MIND BLOWING!From the very first second I called in to get a quote, there was an absolute feeling of calm and peace...not to mention a little disbelief.Here's the story....I'd been in Orlando and had to ruch back to Miami for the birth of my first son.To be honest, I was supposed to leave out teh night prior - but due to a collision that happened Friday night, a part connecting the power steering hose to the actual pump was contacing the belt for the ending in my new 2006 Chrysler 300.I called several places that I looked up on Google.There prices - Extremely uncomfortable, Totally irrational, and beyond my logic.500 to 600 bucks to change out an alternator??? (If I had the tools, I'd do it my darn self)Anyhow, after a long night of "what am I gonna do, and how am I gonna work this situation out", I thought outside of the box. I thought of some local AAA approved facilities, and a few ASA facilities.This nice little shop on 3155 Clemson Road - just off John Young Pkwy - comes up.It was called, "The Car Spa".I thought to myself, 'nice name'. But all I really wanna know is, 1. How much and 2. How soon?Long story short, what I thought was an alternator was more of a byproduct of the collision. Mike Hoffman - a smoot cool dude that actually has manuals of how to repair vehicles dating back to the 1960's came up to speak with me. I explained my woes, and he gave me the green light to leave, while he went to work replacning the alternator that costed under 150.00 from Advanced Auto Parts, and the caost of Labor - measely $80 bones!!! (Did I mention I love mike and hellen hoffman now???? )So, not even 5 minutes after I've driven off, Mikey calls me back letting me know my alternator was in peak condition, but becuase the of the collision, there was some slippage on the belt - which came form the power steering fluid leak. This made the battery light come on...(I thought it was due to my mean sound system draining the alternator even though I added a capicitor).Mike said he'd get the work done, and he did just that. See, the power steering had gone out, so driving that big silver bullet was like going on a ruck march with a 100lb ruck sack on your back. When I got back to the shop, not only was my vehicle driving like new, Heck, they even gave me a few gifts for me and my soon to be born son - who will be a Junior.Hellen handles the business administration while Mike and the crew take care of turning wrenches and diagnostics. To sum things up:What I received from The Car Spa was Rolls Royce caliber service at Thrift Shop prices.You're gonna love these people. The next time I come up, God willing, I'm gonna stop by to say whats up to Mike, Hellen and the gentelman that answered the phone. I've never taken the time to write a review, and honestly, I'm leaving out a ton of good stuff from this - already too lond as it is - review. Never the less, when someone cant breathe, and in comes a fresh new pair of lungs at no real sacrifice, not only are they happy they can breathe again, but every breath they take is in memory of the person that provided that source of air. These guys are awesome. Thanking God for great people and good business. Did I mention, respectable prices???
Frank's Mobile Auto Mechanic
Our car, too, broke down the night of our last day at Disney, Saturday, the day after Christmas! We were supposed to check out the next morning by 10AM and two of us had to be at the airport by noon. It was already after 6PM, Saturday, of a holiday weekend. Luckily, the car was in it's parking spot at the resort, but was stuck in reverse, and when we shut it off, it would not start. We called the front desk at the resort- absolutely NO HELP. We called AAA, they set up a tow to a 24 hour repair shop, which we quickly found out was a lie, no 24 hour repair shop exists (at least not on Christmas weekend). So, next, we were faced with the possibility of towing the car 150 miles to my parents home town, and renting a car to get to the airport and for the rest of us to ultimately get home- lots of money, but necessary. I was SO GLAD to find "Frank's Mobile Auto Mechanic" website on my cell phone, while my parents were trying to decide what to do next. We had another option!! We called Frank and left a message, he returned the call within the next hour. My Dad had trouble understanding Frank, so I did the talking. After I explained what happened to the car over the phone, he assured me he could fix it and he could come early the next morning. He knew exactly where we were, he had been to our resort before. He impressed me from the start, he has a great personality, a list of work experiences at several dealer auto repair shops, and he genuinely wanted to help us get our car fixed so we could be on our way. Like the other reviewer that described his van, he has everything he needed, and he had the part with him to fix our car. He permanently patched the gear shift cable as good as new, better than the dealer, and only charged us a little over $100 (85 to come out & 20 for the part). The car started up and the gear shifter works as good as new. We, also, were glad to tip him, he saved us so much time, stress and worry. And, we didn't even have to leave the comfort of our resort room. We continued to pack up the car while he worked on it in the parking lot that morning. This could have been a terrible ending to our wonderful Christmas vacation. His service is invaluable and I can't imagine what we would have had to endure if we hadn't called him. THANKS FRANK!!

I borrowed my friend’s car when I was in Orlando visiting Universal. The first day everything was fine and I packed my friends in the SUV and we enjoyed the park. But the second day, the A/C stopped working! We also noticed that the check engine light was on. I felt like it was my responsibility since I borrowed the car, so I looked up repair services that were close to us.When I called City Garage, they were very friendly and said they could take a look right away. They reassured me that it probably wasn’t something serious and a quick oil change and repair of a small A/C leak might be all that was needed. I dropped the car off that morning and spend the rest of the day at the park with my friends.I got a call from City Garage before the end of the day. They said the car was fixed and explained that they changed the oil, added refrigerant to the AC, and checked several other things to make sure the car was running properly. I was able to pick up the car before 5 PM, and the best part was the bill! I have never had a car repair be so cheap! I was expecting hundreds of dollars like I was used to, but this bill wasn’t even half of what I thought it would be. If you live in the Orlando area, please don’t bring your cars to the dealer to have them serviced, especially with little problems like I had. City Garage has amazing, fast service for less than half the price of other places! As it turns out, my friend was having problems with the AC before, so I wasn’t the one who broke it (so relieved!). I told her about this place and she plans to use them for any future needs.
WOW is how I describe the treatment I received at All Transmission World where Tanner is the Manager. Tanner is PHENOMENAL. I brought my 1997 Toyota truck there for 2 separate issues. On both occasions, Tanner and his team found and resolved the problems quickly and correctly. I was on a very tight budget but needed the truck fixed, and Tanner helped me find the most economical solution for the problems I had with my clutch and master and slave cylinders. He thoroughly explained the problem after the diagnostic they perform and how to fix it correctly. I had brought the truck previously to 2 other mechanics where I did not get an explanation of the problem and spent over $800 to fix it, the others were unable to correctly diagnose the issue and hence did not correctly repair the vehicle and soon after the truck broke down again. This is when I found Tanner and All Transmission World. Dealing with Tanner and his extensive knowledge of auto repair and his honest business dealings was and is a breath of fresh air. As a woman, it is especially nice to have found someone who treats you fairly and not try to take advantage but to go above and beyond to help. I will continue to take my vehicle to him for any auto repair they can do and I refer him to my family and colleagues as well. I trust him, his judgment and to really take care of me, his customer. Tanner is a rare person in this day and age. He is a great asset to All Transmission World.

This kind of transmission is use in Toyota Prius, Highlander, Camry, the Nissan Altima, Ford Escape Hybrid SUVs, Mitsubishi Lancer, Proton Inspira, Honda Insight, Honda Fit, and Honda CR-Z hybrids, the Nissan Tiida/Versa (only the SL model), Nissan Cube, Juke, Sentra, Altima, Maxima, Rogue, X-Trail, Murano, Micra, Honda Capa, Honda Civic HX, Jeep Patriot, Subaru Impreza, Legacy and Outback. Advance Transmision was the only one who took it apart and fixed....My Car now has 152.000 miles and it runs fine even thought a lot of dealers and auto shops suggested me to sell my car in steady of fix it.....and I got warranty on my repaired transmission....Good company that you can trust just imaging what they can do in Advance Transmission with regular or standard transmission if they could fix a complicated transmission like the CVT's...............

I'm relatively new in the area, and needed to find a reliable automotive repair and service shop to help me with numerous issues that have been creeping up with my car recently. I had been noticing some issues with my suspensions, alignment, and some strange things happening with my engine, and since I'm not an expert, I needed a shop that would provide honest, friendly, and courteous service and wouldn't try to take me (and my wallet) for a ride. I was pleased when I called City Garage on a whim and had a pleasant conversation with them over the phone. They were patient with me and didn't talk down to me or make me feel small for not knowing exactly what the problem was. I came in the same day and they did some diagnostic testing, and I didn't even have to pay from the estimate. For me, this was big; other shops I called had no patience for me being unsure about the exact nature of the problem, and would have charged a substantial amount for the estimate.In the end, I was expecting the repairs to be more expensive than they were. Ultimately the engine issue was minimal, and the prices for everything were extremely fair. They were pretty quick with my car, and even gave me a ride home. I would happily work with City Garage again next time I have any needs with my vehicle.

This about Chris at City Garage and his staff. He was and still is the angel sent from heaven. It went like this: I live in Syracuse, NY, my son moved to florida and lived in Orlando while working at Disney. His first car a Honda Accord (very old) died in the apt complex my son lived in at the time. I called from Syracuse to City Garage and spoke to Chris. Explained the situation and he had someone go to the complex and tow the car to his station. We had the car repaired which I couldn't thank him enough because I knew it was an honest repair and charge. Chris kept the car at the station with hopes we could sell it. It was there I'd say a good LONG time. He never charged me any add'l $$. When my son moved, he towed the car to his new apartment for a reasonable charge. I always asked if I could repay him somehow but all he ever wanted was for me to write a good review. If you ever are in need of any auto repair, I highly recommend going to City Garage, he treated me like I was his family. So Chris thank you from the bottom of my heart! Fam Towing and Transportation
My insurance reimburses me for towing if I choose a towing service that is not their own. All they need is the receipt. With that said, I chose to give Sam and Fam Towing and Transportation a chance because of the reviews I read about them. The tow and transport went oh so very smoothly. He was professional, arrived in a timely manner and got my truck onto his flatbed without a hitch. He really took great care of it. However, like I said, all that I needed was the receipt for the transaction. He assured me that his payment app would get it to me. Even after I tried to get a written receipt, he insisted. I agreed and now almost two weeks later, not only have I not received my receipt, but he won't return my calls or texts. I'm no longer going to chase him, however I hope that whoever reads this review makes absolutely certain that if you need proof of the tow from him GET IT ON THE SPOT! Taking his word was a mistake and one that I hope to prevent someone else from making. His follow-up is terrible and his communication is a huge problem in need of a lot of work. Otherwise, he's pretty good.
