Bad and bad service.They will not take responsibility for their mistakes.please do not trust them with your clothes.Bad and bad,service is bad.They will ruin your clothes and will not pay for it nor take responsibility for it.

Please, go somewhere -- anywhere -- else! Main St Cleaners rendered 3 high quality men's suits completely unwearable, passing the blame onto the manufacturer and refusing any gesture of compensation. I am aghast, and hope to spare other customers a similar horror.Of five Jos A Bank suits bought from the same store at the same time (5 months ago), three went here and two went to Four Seasons in Auburn. The two cleaned at Four Seasons are in perfect condition. When these three were picked up, I noticed substantial puckering on the flat front right side of all three jackets. I took them back and received an employee's apology and the explanation: "We have a new girl on the press." After a no-charge do-over, they were worse, and there was more puckering in other areas of each jacket. An older gentleman employee apologized again and offered to do them one more time, but said he couldn't guarantee they'd improve: "There was an industry bulletin about this, that used to be posted back there," he said. The third time I retrieved them, they were entirely ruined. The manager, David Wilkinson, who confirmed that there was indeed a new girl on the press, showed me the bulletin and told me it was a manufacturer's defect (apparently affecting only and all these three suits, and not the two cleaned at Four Seasons). He insisted that Main St Cleaners had no responsibility for the damage. I took the suits to Jos A Bank, who said they'd only seen this once before after drycleaning (the Auburn Mall Jos A Bank store manager, researching that case, told me it was also the work of Main St Cleaners!), and that it was more likely due to poor pressing technique or improper temperature. However, Jos A Bank, on their own initiative, ordered replacement jackets regardless of fault, so we wouldn't be socked with a $1000 loss. I don't make a habit of consumer complaints, but this experience was so horrifying, I'd hate for anyone else to be subjected to it. (On the other hand, I will say that Jos A Bank is a very good place to buy suits!)
