For several years, we have experienced interior ceiling leaking in our home. We had been advised this was due to ice damming and was an act of nature event. After one winter without ceiling leaks, we were relieved to think that ice damming with the culprit! This past winter, we experienced interior ceiling leaking for a third time and by the summer of 2015, we even began to experience leaking due to rain. Insurance adjustors visited our home twice during these several years and we were always told that our roof was fine. We even had a contractor come out to give an opinion. He also felt our issues were related to ice-damming and poor gutter routing. This fall, we got a knock at our door and we met a Quality Exteriors representative. They offered to take a look at the roof and at this point we felt, what could it hurt? During our appointment, a representative walked us around the exterior of our home. He listened carefully to our history and noted our issues. Our roof was eleven years old and he explained it had been improperly installed. This was a shock as our home was new construction when we purchased it.We were going into winter and were afraid to go another season with a roof that was leaking. Quality Exteriors moved quickly to get us on to their schedule and we were very relieved!A waste container arrived Monday morning, just as scheduled, prior to the crew arriving at the house. We were happy to see a six-man crew work on our nearly two-day roof installation. The crew arrived in a timely fashion each morning and worked hard each day. They did a great job and cleaned up after the job was complete. We are happy with the 35-year shingles and new look to our home. Everyone we worked with, from the initial consultation, appointment setting, roofers and quality inspection were professional and courteous. We highly recommend Quality Home Exteriors. Thanks for completing job before winter set in!

From start to finish, Quality Home Exteriors gets a 5 star rating from my wife and me. We had entertained 2 different siding company salespersons prior to meeting with QHE and after the first 2 experiences, I was reluctant to repeat the process. We were pleasantly surprised that the QHE salesperson was not pushy, knew what he was talking about and had great design ideas, not to mention significantly beating the competitions price. We ordered a new front door and siding on the majority of our house (we have an addition that had been sided years earlier). The front door is mission style, made of fiberglass and has wood grain and wood stain. Absolutely great looking door, you would swear it was wood until you actually got up close and touched the door. The door was installed on the day scheduled and took about half a work day. The siding also occurred when scheduled and took 2 work days. We are thrilled with the finished product, the design accents suggested by the salesperson are great and make a difference in what could have ended up being a bland look, had we not had his input. The persons doing the installation did a good job, were friendly, hardworking and cleaned up the work area when finished. We recommend Quality Home Exteriors to anyone interested in siding, doors and whatever other products they provide. The only ones anywhere near as happy with the finished as we are, would be our neighbors, who are happy to have a rundown house in their neighborhood revitalized. We have received numerous compliments.

We needed a new living room window but weren't going to go out of our way to replace our old drafty window. Quality Home Exteriors showed up on our doorstep, which I'm usually apprehensive about, but the salesman, Scott, was very nice and we decided to go for it after talking pricing. The day of the install, a Saturday, had been set for a month and Carlos, who was friendly and professional at all times, called at least three times to verify the install date, which was very appreciated. On that Saturday, nobody showed up and nobody called. We waited all day and never heard from anyone, and the office was closed when I called to check. We found out Monday morning the installer had to leave town Friday night, but neither the contractor nor anyone from the company called to let us know that. A simple phone call or text message would have been appreciated so we didn't spend our whole Saturday sitting at home waiting. The company was apologetic and tried hard to get us on the schedule as soon as it could work out. We finally did get our new window three weeks later and we love it. The quality is great and it is pleasing to the eye. We're very happy with it and it seems affordable enough. I'm ready for the winter cold to come to see how much less drafty it is than our old window.

I recently had the opportunity to deal with Quality Home Exteriors and have to say it was an excellent experience. There are a lot of businesses out there that will replace the windows in your home but these guys are really great with the details. They helped us find a couple great financing options but also gave us the time to shop around for the best deal. The sales guy did an awesome job helping us find exactly what I wanted and even talked me out of a costly unnecessary upgrade (plus he was a ton of fun!). The guys who did the installation were prompt and courteous. They even took the time to help me pull down the drapes I couldn't reach and clean their fingerprints off the windows when they were done. We did have an issue with one of the windows being sent to us having a dent prior to installation but they took care of it right away, ordered a new one and got it installed quickly. We took the time to compare the prices of the windows and installation and are happy to say we got a great deal. We are looking at having our siding and roof redone soon and I know who we will be calling! We would highly recommend these guys to anyone!

Quality home exteriors did an amazing job on my sighting. I was reluctant to go through with it at first since I had talked to a door-to-door salesman. But the salesman showed me examples of their superior product and compared them to inferior products. I really liked the way that the sighting looked and it's insulation qualities really caught my attention. I have triple paned insulated windows so I decided it would be a good idea to double up on my energy-saving . The workers came out and did the job in one weekend. They never really worked later than 4 PM, which was great because the construction didn't interfere with my evenings. After all the work was completed the workers picked up all the Tabriz around the house and made it look really nice. When all the work was finished I took a walk around the house and was breathtaking by the workmanship. I am very happy with my decision to go with quality home exteriors and will be looking forward to the savings.

One day a rep from Quality Home Exteriors came to our door. We decided to hear what they had to say. We had previously tried to get estimates from other companies, but they wouldn’t give us anything unless we signed a contract to commit. Greg came to our house to explain what they had to offer, took some actual measurements, and gave us an estimate that he said wouldn’t fluctuate. He then took out a sample of the awesome siding we could get and explained the savings it could have with the insulated siding. We even got financed through them. He then said we’d be getting a call to set up an installation time soon.We received a call from Shannon and she said that the installation crew could start soon. Installation started just a month later and we were kept us in the loop the whole time. The crew worked diligently and cleanly. From beginning to end, Quality Home Exteriors made the process easy, painless and at a very affordable price that can’t be beat.

We weren’t totally sold on the idea of buying windows – we knew we needed them eventually but we had just moved into our home in November. We met with Greg and it felt more like hanging out with a friend than a sales appointment – he focused on the functional benefits of the new windows in our older home and did not pressure us. We weren’t ready to replace all of the windows in our home yet, but Quality Home Exteriors was willing to work with us on replacing a few windows to start. The installation team was courteous and professional as well, and left the area cleaner than they found it. Our large fixed dining room window used to collect condensation in between the panes of glass – now we have three large windows that we can slide open from the top or bottom to have fresh air in the room. I can also feel the temperature difference – it’s not as cold near that window on cold days and the room doesn’t heat up when the sun shines directly through.

Our windows were original (1985) and were in terrible shape. Broken seals, decaying frames, you name it. It’s been one of those things we’ve needed to do for years, but never had the right opportunity until Quality Home Exteriors knocked on our door. They were exactly what we needed when we needed it. They were able to put together a package to upgrade our entire house for a price that we could afford. I can’t say the whole experience was flawless, but that’s unreasonable as we’re all human beings. What is more important to me is how the unforeseen is handled and everyone at Quality from the initial sales appointment to the crew doing the install has been nothing but friendly, responsive, and professional. Joachim was an excellent foreman and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his services to anyone. The best part is that for the first time in 10 years, we have airflow in our living room! Thanks everyone!!

Quality Home Exteriors was great to work with. Unlike the national window chains in the area, they were willing to sit down with us, measure, and give us an estimate the same day. No, "just come to our showroom" to get the estimate, no wasting my time. I really appreciated dealing directly with the owner of the business. It really made me feel like the project that my wife and I needed done was important to him and his crew. Shannon, his project manager really kept on top of things and made sure all of our questions were answered. The installers were professional and courteous throughout the whole process too. My wife and I would definitely do business with these guys again.

I'd been thinking about replacing the windows in my living room for approximately two years. I have to admit that I was nervous about the expense of the upgrade but after looking at the product and how it compared to other companies, I knew it was what I wanted fr my home. I was looking to get more light into my living room so I replaced three separate windows with a large picture window in the middle and two smaller panels on each side. It's exactly what I wanted and it looks fantastic. The crew did a good job not only of the installation but the end of job cleanup as well. You really should consider having Quality Home Exteriors do your next home improvement project.
Tips & Advices
Windows that open from the top are safest for children, assuming the child can't reach the opening. Parents who have windows that open from the bottom or sides can childproof them with wedges or window guards.
  • How long have you been in business?
  • Do you have any references or past work I can see?
  • Do you provide free estimates?
  • How much will the project cost?
  • When will the project be completed?
  • Is the crew hired or contracted, and do you conduct background checks?
  • Who will be in my home?
  • Do you offer a warranty?
Not necessarily. Unless all the windows are equally damaged or pose equal danger, homeowners can stagger their replacements to suit their budget.
  • Wood frames are beautiful and can be customized with paint and stains, but they also expand and contract as the weather changes. They're also susceptible to rot, mold, and pests. As such, wood frames require constant maintenance.
  • Vinyl frames are far more durable than wood. They resist moisture and are usually created with ultraviolet light stabilizers. This prevents the sun from damaging the frames over time. In addition, vinyl frames can be filled with insulation.
  • Aluminum frames are light and weather resistant, but they also conduct heat rapidly.
  • Fiberglass frames are the sturdiest option. Like vinyl options, they can be filled with insulation. Fiberglass frames also resist weather damage and do not crack, peel, expand, contract, bend, or warp.
Single-pane windows use one sheet of glass. Double-pane windows use two sheets of glass held together by a sealant. A small space between the panes is filled with air or gas to minimize the transfer of heat. Triple-pane windows add another sheet of glass and insulating space.
