Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services
We have used Roto-Rooter in the past and have been pleased. The technician we had for our plumbing issues was prompt, polite and knew what needed to be done. We are very pleased with this technician and if all of your techs are like this fellow, you have an outstanding organization. Very happy!

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services
The absolute worst customer service. Don’t be surprised when your bill is over twice the estimate. Had them change out a simple bathroom faucet, stops, and a P trap, they charged me for three different jobs that should of all been under one job. When I tried to talk to the manager about it he told me “that’s just the way it is” I would never recommend this company.

in the last week-EditJeff the Master plumber is excellent and very professional. Came by several times and put together several different options price wise since I just purchases the house and money was tight. You could tell that he truly cared about the customer, and was not trying to sell something that wasn't needed. This is an attitude that I have seen throughout the company here in Omaha. From the GM Todd Wick all the way down to the Tech Bart who came out the night my basement flooded. They care about the customers and will do anything to make sure that the customer is satisfied, the work is done correctly, and that any and all concerns are addressed immediately. Day or night I know that I can call these guys with any issues, and even more importantly, TRUST, that they will get the job done and do right by me as a customer.

Red D Plumbing
These guys came, soon after we called, fixed my shower faucet, and while they were here I had them fix my outside faucet. They did an awesome job, and the price was better than the quote I had from another company for just the shower faucet alone. They are the best!!!

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services
After a rocky start with Roto Rooter, they came through and solved many unexpected problems with replacing my sewer line. They stayed with the job and got it done. Annie and Chris worked very hard to get the work done and they were very friendly and helpful. Todd and Jeff monitored the work and followed up with everything. It was challenging for everyone involved because of the many problems, but they proved their professionalism by coming through no matter what happened and getting the job done right and quickly. I give them alot of credit for taking care of this and making a disappointed customer a very happy customer. That's not easy.

They came out and did what I asked them too, which was unplug my drain. It may have me $220, but I'm thankful I had a $50 off coupon! Still pricey for a 30 min job, but I can't complain bout service.

Tritz Plumbing Inc
The first time I had Tritz clear a pipe, I was very satisfied. The next time when they came out to fix a running toilet and it ran 2 hours after they left, I was disappointed. They came the next day and fixed it. When the bill came I was charged for a service call with a half an hour credit?Wasn't it supposed to be fixed on the first call?221.00 to fix a running toilet?I will now tell my family and friends not to use them.Office manager was rude and I feel scammed...It's to bad that my bill didn't reflect their mistake. I would have Understood the 2 service calls and we could have had a working relationship.

Showers Plumbing Inc
They are WAY over priced in their services. And They didn't double check their work to see if everything was done correctly. They didn't even clean up properly after themselves. And they seem to have a hard time making to the job on time.

Backlund Plumbing
Yesterday January 9 2013 at 10AM 3 of this company's plumbers on the job were standing around conducting a running commentary of the people coming and going in the bathroom at Planet Fitness in Omaha. As time progressed it got louder and more crude. Finally this poor cancer victim came in and gargled into the sink at which time one replied in a sarcastic manner," Must have had a rough workout" causing them all to break out in laughter, while making a few more rude comments as he left. Planet Fitness has a "No judgement" Policy that these guys obviously were completely disrespecting. The poor guy did nothing to deserve this and has enough to contend with without being ridiculed by a group of plumbers standing around supposedly working. If I need a Plumber, this is hardly the company I would want around my family being rude, cursing, and spewing out derogatory comments.

Midwest Plumbing and Drain
They hired someone they knew had a theft record. While working in a bathroom he stole my wedding rings, 25th anniversary ring, and a heavy gold chain.
Tips & Advices
  • Are you licensed and registered?
  • Are you insured and bonded?
  • How many years have you been in business?
  • What, if any, professional associations do you belong to?
  • May I have a list of references?
  • Do you offer a written warranty for your work?
  • Will I need a permit for this work?
It is important to have a written warranty for any work or repairs done to the plumbing in your house, especially if it is a major repair. Look for a professional  who is willing to  stand by his or her work.
Before you hire a plumber, contact their past customers if you're able to. These people can be a wealth of information if you ask them the right questions. Pose the following queries to these former patrons when you get the chance:
  • Were you pleased with the work done?
  • Was the project completed on time?
  • Did the plumber give you a written warranty and guarantee his or her work?
  • Were there any unexpected costs that arose?
  • Would you hire this plumber again? If not, why?
A permit provides added assurance that the work is done correctly. Having this in place means an inspector will check the work your contractor or plumber does to ensure he or she did the job correctly. If you plan on putting your house or commercial building on the market, a real estate agent and prospective buyers will want to check any large work you did to make sure it was done properly.
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
