Granulawn, Inc.
My experience with them was horrible. I cannot believe how the owner treats his employees like there Hebrew slaves. The only thing the man cares about is the almighty dollar couldn't care less about his employees or his customers for that matter. He's a hot head and I've seen him in action many times on my property. I got to the point where I said enough's enough. He'll never do business with me any of my family or friends ever.

Aall About Trees & Turf
Showed up around the date that was promised. Nice guys seem to enjoy their work and who they work with, Very friendly, did a superb job on my oaks, they never looked better. They cleaned up after themselves very nicely. If I would of never seen the sawdust on the ground I would of never known they were there, except how nice my trees look. I would highly recommend Aall About Trees.

Great Plains Tree Care
Mike did a good job on the tree care. He showed up when he said he would and his prices were reasonable. There was some damage to the surrounding plants but this was expected.HOWEVER the gate to the backyard was broken off and a bush planted by it this Spring was trampled beyond recovery. I left a message regarding these two things because I was upset there was no acknowledgement or apology for the damage. When Mike returned my call he was rude and insulting. He basically called me a liar, said he knew what I was trying to do and then proceeded to tell me what a mess my yard is. He assumed I was trying to get out of paying him and wouldn't let it go. He began texting me after the call ended with photos of a weed showing between the boards of the open bottom gate as "evidence" it had been in its current location for a long time. One weed…showing in the space between two vertical boards of an open bottomed gate. Really. This could have easily slid between the boards when the gate was placed against the fence. I freely admit the gate is not in great shape but it was up and functional before Mike began work. I had just gone through it the night before to put lawn waste out for pick up. If you decide to hire him, do yourself a favor and take photos of your property before he begins work.

West Omaha Tree Service
Michael is very knowledgeable and helpful. He did a great job shaping up our trees, spotting some early disease symptoms and cleaning up after the trimming. We have also used Michael's service for tree removal and stump grinding. He is by far the most reasonable price-wise and so courteous to work with.

He gave me the best price of all the tree services I called, and did a wonderful job. He roped the branches down safely and professionally, and did a good job on clean up. Will be calling West Omaha Tree Service again. Thanks!

American Arborist
Professional on all levels. Dan and his team took out an oak tree, an unfortunate redbud, and pruned about 5 other trees in my yard. You could scarcely tell they had been there....except for the amount of light all that work created!! You can't miss should you decide to give Dan a call

Tips & Advices
Trees take years to grow and can add value to a property, and a lightning strike can destroy a tree in a instant. Many arborists offer lightning protection systems that can protect trees from being damaged by lightning strikes. These systems use copper cables to ensure that in a lightning strike, the lightning is harmlessly diverted to the soil.
Certain conditions can cause soil to become hard and compacted, and this can make it difficult for grass and trees to access the nutrition they need to thrive. With soil aeration, the soil is perforated with tiny holes, loosening the compaction and making it easier for roots to connect with the air, water, and vital nutrients they require.
Arborists can tell which species of trees are most likely to thrive in your location based on soil conditions and local climate. Also, trees need to be planted at the proper depth to thrive, and an arborist will provide guidance in this area.
Tree trimming can be quite dangerous for the person doing it, and the U.S Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries lists it as one of the most hazardous professions in the nation. Falling branches can cause injury, and electrocution can occur if tree pruning takes place in close proximity to power lines. For these reasons, tree pruning is best handled by a skilled professional.
Tree pruning can have a huge aesthetic impact, and, if artfully done, it can greatly improve a tree's appearance. Tree pruning can also boost the health of your landscape. By thinning a tree's canopy with pruning, the tree and the landscape beneath it will be able to access more air and sunlight, resulting in improved vitality.
