Kape Roofing
Very rude and unprofessional! Called to see if he was able to do an estimate, I called from my office the gentleman that answered the phone I believe was the owner thought I was selling something and hung up on me! I called back to let him know I was not and if he would be able to do an estimate he started screaming at me, I was appalled!! Plenty of roofers in the area, someone who speaks to people like this should not be in a business that involves clients..

Takoda Green Roofing Inc
Fraudulent billing practices, billing us for thousands higher than insurance company contracted with them to pay, did not pull permit with the City of Omaha (City tells me they're repeat offenders), and several components of the work was done improperly (despite them "double checking" when it was complete) leading to structural damages. Don't just leave, RUN.

Lastime Roofing
I replaced my shake roof with Lastime's steel barrel vault roof and it was probably the single best choice we've ever made for our home. Tony was extremely helpful and easy to contact. The roof they put on is a work of art. It improved every aspect of our home, appearance, function, durability and insulation. We simply love our new roof. Bravo to Lastime. They put on one superb roof.Kind regards, Steve and Cindy Forehead, Omaha, NE

Agr Roofing and Construction
Such a great experience. They came out to the house and had us scheduled for a new roof later that week. Thank you so much, AGR! Don't look any further if you need a trusted, local Omaha roofing company.

D&K Roofing & Siding Company LLC
The main issue we have with D and K Roofing is that they destroyed our heat pump by trying to comb out the fins by someone who had no idea how to properly do a comb out. Also, they lied to us by saying that a company by the name of ICI came out to my house and did an inspection of our heat pump to determine if it needed to be replaced. I work from home and no company ever came to my house to inspect the unit. I also had an HVAC certified company and my insurance agent come out to look over the unit after D and K said they were done. They both concluded that the cause of the failing heat pump is how the combs from the comb out rubbed against the copper tubing that led to a hole and freon leaking out. Now they won't return my calls or emails to answer for what they did. Simple cowards. Don't ever trust this business to do any of your home repair.

Everlast Exteriors
I had the company install seamless gutters and re-frame my patio door. They did an great job and it was very affordable. They do great work and they stand behind all of their work which is rare for most contractors. The owner promptly comes to do the estimates for work and gets everything done on schedule. He is also friendly and very helpful at answering any questions. He also makes sure everything is done right. I would recommend them to everyone that needs any exterior work.

Aspen Contracting, Inc.
I have worked for Aspen Contracting for a total of seven years since 2006. I have been in the storm restoration business for more than 16 years and I could work for almost any company out there. I choose to work for Aspen, it is a family owned company and they care about their customers. They have embraced technology and use it in all aspects of their business. They are extremely fair to their employees and that reflects outwards to how their customers are treated. I would encourage anyone needing help with their roofing, siding or gutter repairs to use Aspen Contracting, Ins.

Tips & Advices
The most common types of roofing material are:
  • Asphalt shingles
  • Metal roofing
  • Slate shingles
  • Concrete roofing
Metal roofing material and algae-resistant asphalt shingles are the appropriate roofing material for rainy climates.
Houses located in  areas which are prone to wildfires, should avoid the use of flammable roofing materials such as wood shingles.
Not only should you ask to get in contact with past clients, it is also recommended that  homeowners visit projects currently underway to see how the contractor or company actually performs during a job. You can also go online and check out other customer reviews.
Reputable roofers do offer a warranty against poor workmanship. Additionally, the material used often carries a warranty from the manufacturer against defects (assuming proper installation). It is the homeowner’s responsibility to check on the availability of all such warranties before any work is performed.
