Absolutely love the food I have been going here since I was like 5 and I'm almost 30
4916 Underwood Ave
This is a great little place in Omaha. If you go in the summer, they have a nice secluded patio; otherwise the dining reoom is very nice and looks out to the street from the 2nd story. The food is continental and excellent as was the service. I had the seared scallops special and they were wonderful and nicely presented with spinach and artichoke hearts. The wine selection is surprisingly good with several hard to fing Oregon Pinot Noirs.

Some of the best memories are made at the breakfast table. And for more than 50 years, millions of people have made those memories at IHOP.
3509 S 84th St
is about the last place open late at night if you want breakfast food. Certainly I wouldn't go to a chain restaurant when the good places are open, but if you need a breakfast fix late-night, at least this Denny's is still around.
9.The Egg & I Restaurant
3605 N 147th St Ste 106
My wife and I have made this our weekend morning breakfast place to be. The food is very good. But we have returned time and time again because of the staff and servers. We are treated like family and enjoy being recognized by most employees. We will have to say that we miss Courtney as manager but know she is doing a egg-cellant job in Papillion!!

Village Inn is consistently pleasant. It's great for the big, thermal coffee pot they leave at your table. I love breakfast food around the clock, and Village Inn is one of the few places where you can get that.

15.Cracker Barrel Old Country Store
9409 S 142nd St
Pleasant place to stop in with a roaring fireplace and cozy atmosphere. The retail shop was quaint and the staff and manager's where pleasant and very helpful. Love the antiques and Rocking chairs outside. A wonderful family destination and a trip down memory lane. A must for all to see.
16.Twisted Cork Bistro

Great little bistro with excellent food, primo wine selections, and service! They make you feel like family.
17.Lolo's Chicken & Waffles
7051 Ames Ave
The food was cold and have no flavor. If the question is who in Omaha makes better Fried Chicken the answer is just about everybody. The breading on the gizzards and chicken tasted like it was wet. Just a bad experience overall I can't imagine eating there again.

25.The Egg & I
304 Olson Dr
The Egg and I has been open about six months, and we looked forward to trying it. We finally got around to it, and we were disappointed. Being new, the restaurant is very clean and the decor is fresh. The service was quick and friendly. However, the menu is somewhat specialized and may not appeal to traditional tastes. The ranch potatoes were tasteless and their consistency was mushy as if they were baked, not fried; I prefer hash browns, which they do not offer. The pancakes are made from whole wheat; I prefer buttermilk pancakes, which they do not offer. They do offer a variety of breads for toast, but we could not get plain white bread toast. In addition, the coffee was weak and tasted a little strange; I prefer a robust cup of coffee. They do okay for what they have to offer, but they need to broaden their selections (which is probably dictated by their corporate office). We can now say we've been there, but will prefer to stick with Village Inn or IHOP for our breakfast needs
