Dipman Auto Service
I'm a single mother of 4 who took her "new" used car to Dipman Auto to have some work done on it. The seller informed me that the the car needed some work but I misunderstood how much it would cost to actually get the car up and running. As such, I grossly underestimated the cost of repairs. The guys at Dipman were AMAZING! They explained to me what needed to be taken care of right away in order for the car to work properly and safely, and what could wait until later. Then they went out of their way to keep the cost of repairs down to an amount that was closer to what I had planned and what I could afford. That was over 2 years ago and that "new" used car is still running strong, thanks to the guys at Dipman Auto. Since then I have taken other cars to Dipman for service and I have never been disappointed. Their expertise and customer service deserve more than 5 stars.

Chux Trux - Olathe
Ive been to many aftermarket shops before, but I have to say this was the best experience and outcome Ive ever had with an off-road performance shop. They actually helped me spot some errors in my lift kit and body of my truck that a dealership and previous off-road shop failed to provide in the quality and integrity that a business should have. Chux Trux were extremely flexible, with having to reschedule 3 different times, and provided the best professional knowledge and experience in helping me fix the issues and make my truck even better then what it was. Now my truck is an epitome of a beast, thanks to the experts and professional mechanics and staff at Chux Trux in Olathe, KS. Thanks again for your hard work, flexibility, and attention to detail.

Scarff's Automotive
We purchased a new to us diesel truck and woke up the next morning to an oil leak. My husband did some research and located Scarffs Auto. I took the truck in around 930 am and they had it all diagnosed and priced out by 1030. We knew we needed tires an rims as well. They also discovered we had a small fuel leak. They were able to get all the parts in and able to have it repaired by 430 the same day! They were very friendly and price was reasonable! Not to mention all the advice we received on how to maintain our first diesel to prevent damage. This is an awesome company and would recommend it to anyone! I loved that once the new rims arrived I received a text message with a picture of what they looked like!

H&H Audio
I would definitely recommend these guys. They are highly knowledgable and highly efficient. They are easy to work with and seem to just want to do an honest job. I had a double din install that was linked to an overhead display in our Honda Odyssey. The completed the job quicker than expected and were less in price than Best Buy. I had an issue that was out of their control and they let me bring it back to diagnos the problem. However, Joe just happen to be out of a small part to fix the issue. So, to make up for the trouble of having to return on more time, Joe offered to install the part for free. Now that is customer service. I look forward to working with them again.

Fantastic place! I went in to get a tire replaced and it was going to cost $100, he even went to get the tire and had it within an hour. I went and I had told him the wrong size, but he happened to have the other size for way cheaper! Hurray! Super nice people and worked quickly! Thanks!

Excellent company, superior service and knowledgable employees.
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
