Osborne Automotive Truck
redboy70 was not let go because of stealing, he was part owner of Metro Auto Salvage. The reason he is no longer there is because he DIED! Jack T, you need to get your facts straight before you open your mouth. If any tools were stolen, they were stolen from him not by him! I am the one who put the bad review from redboy70 on here & it was posted when it was still Metro Auto Salvage NOT Osborn's. I went there today & could not have found nicer people to deal with. I am sure that the comments from paul were made when it was still Metro because my husband (Red) who ran Metro was one of the most honest people in the world & everyone knew that, but when he died they decided to lie about everything, probably even their names. They changed mileage on motors, etc., I know this for a fact because I heard the conversation telling the help to do so. Jack you must have worked for Osborn's because we @ Metro never had a Jack work for us, unless it was after Red passed away. I know this because I worked the counter with my husband. Anyway I give Osborn's a 5 star because they were great.

Dubz & Up Tire & Auto Center
I saw an ad on Craigslist for an incredibly inexpensive offer to change my brake pads. I called to verify the special. The woman who answered the phone confirmed the price and said that they could buy my brake pads and have them ready in an hour. I was there in an hour and was met with some very friendly people and they were ready to change my brake pads. Not even a half an hour later, they were done! They did not try to take advantage of my mechanical ignorance by trying to upsell me on anything else and I am sure that they picked up that I knew nothing about car repair. My breaks were making a terrible sound as I drove down the road prior to going to their shop. They could have easily told me that I needed new everything for my brakes and I would have had no idea---but the did not. My brakes are working great and the aweful sound is gone. I highly recommend!!!

Dubz & Up Tire & Auto Center
I have been here several times and I love this place!! They are very friendly and helpful. I had seen an ad on facebook that said that they financed. So, I went in and the nice lady in the office sent a link to their application to my phone and I filled it out in their lobby. Took me just a few minutes and found out I got approved for $2000!! I had only come in to get a new set of tires, but since I was approved I went ahead and got tires and wheels. It took a couple of days but as soon as my tires and wheels came in they let me know. I went in to get them put on and they had hot coffee waiting for me! Lol. They also noticed that I needed something done on my suspension, which I was able to add to my financing. They were just awesome!! I won't go anywhere else! Thank you Dubz & Up for everything.

Discount Tire
I've been in the service business a long time. These guys are honest, personable, and quick. The manager Adam, was very friendly, and right to the point of the issue. I expected as usual pulling into a car repair, to have to fend off the usual sales pitches for 4 new tires for the price of 3, etc etc, this was not the case. The entire service was under 20 minutes, free rotation, and while waiting for my car, I noticed almost every other person, who went to pay, pick up or drop off, was in one way or another complementing their current or prior experience. This place is A GEM. If you have an issue with your car, and they can fix it, do yourself a favor, and check them out. You will be treated like a PERSON, and not someone to be swindled. 110% satisfaction.

Discount Tire
I checked numerous places in OKC area & online. Discount Tire by far was superior in both price & their online website. I was greeted as soon as I walked in & the price given online was exactly the same given by the salesman so no surprises. I purchased both wheels & tires for my Hummer H3 & from "walking in the door" to "walking out the door" was less than an hour & I was a very happy & satisfied customer! Fast, courteous & very professional service in every aspect! I will definitely be a return customer for my tire needs & highly recommend this location!

Riverside Auto & Truck Salvage
They know their business. I am one satisfied customer again and again. I once had my motor pulled and could not pay on time. They held my car with no questions asked, did not put a mechanics lien on it! I was even more satisfied when I had a few problems with it after it first got back on the road. Willie and the crew, as well as the owners do a good amount of positives for their loyal customers. I am hoping to get my 03 Taurus out today. I'll keep coming back till all the bugs are fixed. Give them a try again. Thanks Teddy LeRoy II

Cramer's Tire & Auto Repair
Went in for glass and a nail in my tire. The same tire also had a slow leak over the past year that Hibdon and Pepboys could not figure out. Within 15 minutes of pulling into the parking lot the tire was off, patched, resealed and back on the car. $20 later and I was back on the road. This level of service was common 30 or 40 years ago, but its rare to find it today. Hibdon and Pepboys don't even look at your tire for less than $100.

Garcia Tire
If you are going anywhere else for tires...you're rolling the dice. Locally owned and operated, Sammy Garcia and his staff are always patient and professional. They are about repeat customers first and foremost. They will get you the tires you need instead of up selling and putting you in tires that only service their bottom line. I drive 40 minutes form home to get my tires here. I wouldn't dare go anywhere else. 10/10!

Dubz & Up Tire & Auto Center
It was really hard for me to find someone that would mount my 28" rims. A friend told me about this shop. I went and right away they said they could mount them. They have great equipment and did it right away. I spend alot of money on rims so i want quality work. I was very happy. I will recommend this shop and will come back.

Dave's Alignment-Brake & Tire Center
Dave is great! He is always willing to help and is very knowledgeable. Went in one time with a screw in my tire and he removed it, and didn't charge for it since the tire was fine. His equipment even aligns lowered vehicles. Very reasonable prices for such great work!
Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.

Just a moment...
