I took my dog there for the first time. When I picked her up the owner was rude. When I got home I noticed my dog was not acting right. I looked her over and found that she had burns and cuts from the razor on all 4 of her paws and her belly. This is totally unacceptable. I also noticed that every time I ran my hands down my dogs back hip and legs she would whimper like it hurt her. It makes me wonder what all she did to mistreat my dog. Do not use her!

Wonderful cuts! The best I've had since I moved to the city 2 years ago. As long as you keep your own appointments that you made, you will have no problems with this place. I've tried so many other places, this is the first to actually give my pups the haircut I wanted and it's done well. Definitely give this place a try!

First off when I came in to drop my dog off all I could hear we're dogs whining . The staff was the rudest that I have ever met. When I tried to explain to her how I wanted her groomed I had to tell her 3 times. When I came to pick her up It was obvious that I was the last one I could hear my dog crying. I had to pay before they would let me see her and she wasn't cut like I wanted at all. My dog whined for an hour after we left . I will never ever go there again !!!

    ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!

I took my dog to her a couple of times...the first time she did a really good job and was really nice. However the 2nd time I took her my dog had an appointment at 11am and was told that she would be ready in 2-3 hours. at 3:30 I called her and she got extremely rude with me and told me that she had 2 dogs ahead of her and she hadn't even started my dog. I had the appointment scheduled 1 month in advance so if she overbooked she should have kept her appointment. I finally get a call from her at 10 min after 5 saying that I had 20 min to come pick up my dog b/c she was closing and wouldn't wait on me to get there...She was fully aware that it was rush hour traffic and I lived in NW OKC. I told her that i might be a little bit late b/c of traffic and she told me that if I wasn't there she was closing anyway.

I barely made it there by 5:25 and she was extremely rude saying that she didn't like waiting on me. When she handed me my dog the work was definitely subpar...she completely butchered her haircut and my dog was shaking and scared. I haven't seen her act like that since I first got her from the rescue. Which leads me to believe that she mistreated my dog!!! She also knew ahead of time and had noted that I told her my dog was a rescue and had been abused and asked her to take care when handling her b/c i didn't want to traumatize her any more.

Needless to say I will never let that place touch another one of my dogs again!!! Beware extremely rude people and they gave my dog one of the worst haircuts that I have ever

  • Liked their work but not their attitude

My husband and I really liked the quality of work, the cuts they did on the dogs were really well done. At my urging, my mom decided to give them a try but had to cancel the appointment because of the ice/snow storm we got Christmas Eve. Mom is 76 years old and not comfortable driving in the snow or walking in it. The person she talked to, Shelley, said she was going to have to charge mom for the cancellation since she was going to be out $50. When mom said she didn’t think that was fair, Shelley hung up on her.

I called Shelley and tried to find out who the owner was, who had talked to my mom, etc. and she was very evasive. She said two people had talked to my mom and the owners name was Stephan but she didn't know how to get ahold of him or when he would be in. When I asked her if her parking lot was cleared of ice and snow she said yes but when I told her I was only 3 minutes away and would drive by and check she changed her story and said there was still ice and snow in the parking lot. When I asked her who would be paying for mom's Dr bills if she fell, she said the owner of the building would have to because they couldn't be held responsible. When I asked her why she hung up on mom she said she ""thought"" she had said good-bye.

Because of her attitude, I told her that not only had she lost the $50 per month from my mom (plus a $5 tip), but she had also lost the $90 we pay about every six weeks along with the really nice tip we always leave.

She has since called my mom three times; once to apologize, once to offer her discounts if she’ll schedule another appointment and then once to find out how to contact me. She said she had already had 4-5 cancellations this morning and probably took it out on mom.

Again, they do good work but there are plenty of places around that do good work and understand you don't treat your customers like that.

  • THE BEST POODLE CUT AROUND!! My dog Loves going to the PPP I cant get him to leave. The staff is ama

I took my dog to another groomer a couple of times (All About Pets on Western, but I do reccomend their mattress shop) . He would start shakeing and I couldn't get him out of the car. Then when I would pick him up he would drag me to the door choking on his collar. My husband went to take him and called me and said he couldn't do it, our dog was shivering. We hated to change since we like the owner. But I think the staff must be mean to the dogs. I didn't know the haircuts were bad either until I went somewhere else.

I heard about the Pretty puppy parlor from a friend so I said we would try it. I took my dog he wasn't really sure but the ladies greeted him and pet him and made him feel at home. When I returned, The ladies brought him out in the best poodle cut he had ever had. Then to top it off I couldn't get him to leave. He actually ran back into the back where they cut and bathe the dogs. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!! THE STAFF IS AWESOME!!!

I also have a bulldog that is handicapped he enjoys going to the PPP. They are so good to him he doesn't walk well so the staff gives him a soft blanket to sit on and he sits by the window and looks out. His feet and legs are very sensitive so I wouldn't take him anywhere else. I can go on for days about this place. You need to check it out!

  • Best place to get groomed!

Pretty Puppy Parlor ROCKS!!! I looked all over the metro area for a good groomer for 2 years. I FINALLY found the Pretty Puppy Parlor. Not only do all 3 of my dogs (different breeds) get great haircuts, the owner is so friendly. Since I take my dogs there every 2 weeks I have seen the owner get firm with people before. She has a business to run. When someone does not show up at appointment time or comes at the wrong time, she has no other choice sometimes. I have to completely disagree with the other comment. Pretty Puppy Parlor is clean, smells good, and gives great, quality service!

Rather than my schedule my pet, the owner decided to argue with me about a time previously that we had a misunderstanding about a day that I was to bring my dog. Is that how you conduct a good business? I would expect her to be polite and understanding as I would be, had I misunderstood her. I would never waste my time or my money on a business that would prefer to argue with a customer than to service them--especially when it was just a simple misunderstanding about times. And anyway, I had taken my dog there once before and she didn't even smell good when I picked her up. I will continue to take my business to All About Pets on Western. The only reason I had tried Pretty Puppy Parlor is because of location. I do not recommend it.
