What an ordeal it is to have a storm come through and tear up everything you own. The roof of my home was nearly ripped off, the siding had holes all the way though, and windows were smashed and broken.. The insurance company was easy to deal with on the house, because I didn't have to be there for the adjuster, but my when it came to the vehicles it was kind of a pain in the rear. Once we got through that process we went looking for places to repair the vehicles, which would be body shops. Most everywhere we went told us they couldn't get to it right away, which was understandable being that the storms were still recent. Most if not all the body shops wanted to schedule us out 2-3 months and then said that the would require us to leave our vehicle(s) up to 30 days, some cases even more. I heard in the past that there was several techniques such as dry ice and freon and a hair dryer. I did some research on this and stumbled across "paintless dent removal", I found this intriguing. So I found a couple of companies around the metro area. I went to a couple of places in Edmond area and found that a few company's that seemed to represent themselves as "local" companies, were actual quite the opposite. Some from Missouri, Kansas, Minnesota, and anywhere but here. I don't personal like the idea of people coming from other states and praying on us in a time of natural disaster. So I did a little more investigating and found 2-3 companies that are established here. I would name the others, but feel since I ended up doing business with Dent Source that it wouldn't be fair to name drop. I did however go to a couple of other places. Here are few of the reasons I did NOT choose the others. Dent Source was the only Paintless Dent Removal company that did a computer generated estimate, same as all the body shops. One of the other places I had to wait outside for my car to get estimated, at the time it was hot outside. Dent Source has great waiting area, the had plenty of seating for everybody that was there when I was getting my eastimate, they had a nice tv on the wall, with plenty of magazines to thumb through. Dent Source appeared to be the only professional Hail company, the others were wearing work cloths or had attitudes that made them seem more frustrated that they had to write an estimate then do something else on their agenda. I felt like some of the other companies didn't even do a thorough estimate. There was a-lot of damage and I felt like it should have taken more then 5 minutes to write down an estimate. Bottom line, I decided to go with Dent Source because of a few factors. First off, the have a great waiting area with air conditioning, magazines, a coke machine, fresh coffee and a great overall atmosphere. Secondly, they did a computer generated estimate on my vehicle in about 10-15 minutes and answered all of my questions about the time it would take, how the did the repair, what I could expect my vehicle to look like when it was done, if I had to deal with the insurance company or not, and scheduling. They didn't make me feel stupid, like some of the body shops and other companies did. Third, the staff was wonderful to deal with. They were a cheerful bunch that seemed to get along well with each other. My overall experience with Dent Source was great. I had them repair all 3 of my vehicles, one at a time, which worked out good for me and my family. All 3 vehicles look just as if they did before the storm. I did pick up one of my vehicles and a door trim piece didn't get replaced. It was an easy fix, I just called and they told me they had ordered the part and apologized for their oversight. They sent a young gentleman out to my work and he changed it out while I talked to him about the weather. They also gave me a free car wash at Red Carpet for it. Dent Source is great company that has earned my business for as long as I drive. I will only recommend Dent Source for here on out with Hail repair.
Auto Dents is an outstanding business! I have used this business for over ten years and have never had anything but the highest quality work done, combined with friendly and professional service. The first time I used Auto Dents was after a major hailstorm. I had gone to several body shops for estimates of cost and time needed to do the repair work. Needless to say, I was depressed and discouraged because of the amount of cars ahead of me. When I went to Auto Dents on Porter Drive in Oklahoma City, I had decided this would be my last estimate. I am certainly glad I went and talked with Stewart, the owner. He checked my car carefully and gave me an estimate for the repair work needed (which included the amount the insurance company would pay after my deductible). I was very happy with the estimate. It was lower than any other bids I had received. Seeing that there were several cars parked at the business waiting to be repaired, I asked about when the work could be done. Stewart said that he and his employees were working day and night, seven days a week to get cars repaired as quickly as possible. Because my car was in good enough condition to drive, he suggested that I keep the car until he called me, which would be the day before they would start work on it. So two weeks later, I got his call and took my car in the next day. He had all work completed within a few days, just as he had promised. The quality of the work was just fantastic. I was extremely pleased with the repair, the cost, and the timely service. Ever since then I have used Auto Dents for any body work on my cars and have recommended it to friends and family, who have also had the same, satisfying service. This is a business that does great work, in a time frame you can depend on. Stewart, his employees, and and his business definitely deserve my five star rating.
charlotte D I took my car up to brookwood automotive on a Thursday july 9th my car wouldn't hold a charge I bought a new battery but something still was draining my battery I called brookwood and talk to the reception she set an appointment for me to bring my car in I took my car up to book and dropped it off ryan called me the next day and said your car needs a alternator the alternator is bad and your power steering hose is leaking and the power steering switch needs to be replace I said ok how much will it be for my car to be fixed he said with parts and labor the total cost will be 536 ryan called me everyday giving me an update on my car but never once did he say that the price had went up they car until the 17th when I went to pick up my car the reception showed be a bill of appropriately a 1000 a little bit over I said old no ryan told me on the phone 536 she said ryan has gone home for the day let me go get the owner the owner came to the counter and was very rude and disrespectful and tried to over talk me and basically said I was lieing about the price that I was told and that I needed to list to him because he felt like he was right. I was telling him that I just bought a new battery and a warrant for my car and he said the battery had a short in it and he took it back and got a warrant after I saw that the conversation was not going anywhere I just stop talking and ask him to go ahead and ring me up so I could get out of their. I felt like he was mocks me and making rude comments I would not recommend this show to anyway due to the way the owner handled this situation I give the business a 4 star rating the reception and the mechanic was nice
If you make your payments on time and have nothing to say to them, everything is just fine. If you have a question, let's say over something like online payment schedules, the account management staff is just plain rude and condescending. I purchased my vehicle from this company in July of '09. I have NEVER missed a payment and in fact am usually 3 days early with my bi-weekly payment. For some time now, they have been without an online pay portal, sup[supposedly because they were looking for a new vendor for that service. They are now using the same one they were before (as I was already registered there), and are now charging a $5.00 fee for a one-time payment for a service that used to be no charge. So, I tried setting up scheduled payments online for ACH. I didn't see anything about a $5.00 charge and not wanting to pay that charge every time a payment is made, I called to confirm whther or not it would be assessed each time. The "account manager" I spoke to was extremely rude, obviously reading from a script, and when I continued to ask questions, she said "(Oh, Lord ...), Sir, can I put you on hold?" She didn't wait for me to consent, and I sat on hold for a little over 4 minutes before she hung up. I've worked in technical support and customer service for 4 years now and had I ever treated a customer in such a fashion, I'd have been fired; no questions asked, leave your badge and headset w/ security on your way out the door!
I took my 1999 Chevy Blazer into Car Rx and after $482.40 including labor (parts - spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor and 3 hours of labor @$85.00 per hour -total trips to Car Rx: 2) I was told my vehicle was fixed and driving normally again. As soon as I started driving my vehicle the second time from the drive of Car Rx, I knew my vehicle "wasn't fixed". I called back to the station and they told me to bring it back and they would "try again". After giving them $482.40 for parts and labor already and them telling me "yes, we drove your car around our parking lot to make sure it was driving good again" and the Blazer wasn't, I decided to go elsewhere and have it looked at and they did fix it for $284.36 - their fee. For $85.00 per "shop hour"(per Car Rx charges for 3 hours total) you would expect them to tell you what's wrong with your car. They couldn't after 3 hours. I needed the parts they did put on, but that didn't totally fix my car. If you go to this place, have Questions on paper, if you can'[t remember them, to ask about your vehicle Before and After Servicing. (my real beef with this company was after 3 hrs of time actually charged to me and 2 whole work days I did without my vehicle, my vehicle was almost - no better off working than before I took it in to be repaired.)
First I would like to say THANK YOU SO MUCH to all the staff!!You did an amazing job!! My husband and I bought some furniture at a well known furniture store close by and when the guys were loading the truck they dented our brand new truck the look on my husbands face I will never forget!! All he could talk about was the truck and how angry and sad he was.So I started doing research and I came across this website and I saw all the wonderful reviews and how happy everyone was with the work so I told my husband about it and he went the next day and GUESS WHAT!!!! They got him in and removed the dent you would never know anything had happened!! When my husband got home I asked so how did everything go? He Smiled from ear to ear and said great it's new again!! He was so happy and grateful !! If anyone is considering a place to take there vehicle to be repaired Please,PLease,Please Come Here very professional Staff,Very Friendly,Quality Work!! They really do care about making you happy we have found a place that we can trust and you will be extremely happy with any work they do!! I side swiped the back rear side of my truck on a fence pole in the pasture leaving 2 dents and a long wide scratch. I hadnt even thought about getting it repaired (as I knew it was gonna cost about $1800 at the bodyshop down the street) but I was next door getting a grill put on the front of the truck at the Ranchhand place and they suggested I check them out. Sherri in the office was great. The appraisal was quick and significantly below my expected cost--$700-- Unfortunately, I have done the same thing to a different truck but paid more since I didnt know about them. Anyway, they got the work done quickly and it looks fantastic. I cant even tell it was wrecked. I highly recommend One Touch. They are professional, friendly, and put out high quality work at a very reasonable price. I will definitely be back if I happen to smash my truck up again and will refer anyone I know that needs body work over to Sherri. Almost forgot, I managed to get a screw in the sidewall of my tire and they even took it to the tire store and had it replaced for me and split the cost. I dont know where or how it happened but I think that is more than fair and again shows their outstanding customer service. Bravo Zulu.
My PT Cruiser broke down on the highway late at night about 6 weeks ago so I had the closest mechanic tow it to their shop...BIG MISTAKE! They (A&H) quoted me over $2500.00 to repair the timing belt. I called around and ended up paying an additional fee to have the car towed to Jack's Automotive in Del City....BEST DECISION EVER!! The owner, Connie, took the time to fully explain everything that was involved with the repair and told me that she would have her mechanics try a few different things first before just charging me first for everything that COULD go wrong. However, she said that even the worst case scenario would only cost me $1800.00 That being said, I fully expected to be charged for the worst case scenario, because how would I know the difference and I've not had good luck with mechanics in the past. Miraculously, Connie called me just 2 days later and let me know that the valves were not bent etc and that my bill was only $725.00!! and that I could come pick my car up anytime :) I am just amazed by their honesty and willingness to save me money! That was 6 weeks ago and my PT is running better than ever thanks to Jack's Automotive! I HIGHLY recommend this Godly business!!!
I dropped my car off (before they opened, due to my schedule) this morning not knowing what was wrong with it. I called once they opened & told them what kind of noise it was making, when it started, & what the men in my family thought it may be. About an hour later, I got a call back from Cris (she's really sweet), who told me exactly what was wrong & what to expect. I was really shocked when she said that they could get the parts & do it today, and for a great price too! Four hours later, Chris called me to let me know that everything was fixed! Estep has worked on my car before, (air conditioner crapped out, lol) and they were the first place I called to get the work done this time. If you ever have any problems come up with your car, I want to let you know that Estep is the place to go! (I swear I didn't mean to rhyme) They are very fair & up front with their pricing, and don't try to rip you off or tell you that you need anything more than what you do. Also, unlike other shops, they don't try to take advantage of you just because you are a woman. Thank you again to everyone out @ Estep Automotive, you've got a lifelong customer!
I had a rocky at best relationship with this dealership. My original salesman Sterling made a deal and changed it after i drove 4.5 hours to get the car I already had a deal on and wasn't even there when I arrived. The person that was really great to me and help tremendously was Tony Knight. This guy was very courteous and did everything to help. Sadly, deal fell through because of an a sales manager that treats the customers poorly and doesn't honor deals. So, I complained on every social media and got in contact with the GM. The GM still sided on the fact that I was lying, not his salesman but honored the original price plus their $500 document fee. If working with this dealership make sure you get everything in writing beforehand. Im sad to say that the dealership was not apologetic and left me with the feeling that they believe I lied about a deal their salesman made. It was obvious that one of their people made a mistake and was covering for it. If working with Bob Howard Nissan, I would strongly suggest that you work with Tony Knight, because he honored everything he said to me and seemed to have the utmost integrity.
