Don't waste your money here, in this school if you are not in Whitney's favorites your 9 months will be hell. You will not get the hands on you need or the recognition, it's like mean girls in high school. She thinks she runs the school and the owners do not do anything about it. Only her favorites get hands on and the clients and what they do is that when their favorite graduates they pass the clients to her next favorite instead of evenly among every one. She will not post your work in social media she will act like you never was even there. At the beginning she will be sweet just to get you enrolled then her true colors comes out. They will not prepare you for the written part of the test for state board.

I have had my hair cut here since they were located on SW 59th & Agnew. I have never got a bad haircut there and I have curly hair. I haven't had any thing other than haircuts, but I don't color or perm my hair. The teachers check the cut sometimes, depending on the level the student is in class from beginning to end. The more advanced the student the less supervision, but it is always checked before you leave. The only complaint I have is that it seems a bit lax in professionalism in that anyone is allowed to set with the customer at the students chair. That should be a no-no based on liability issues. I understand a parent with a small child or someone with an older or disabled person.

I dined at the restaurant located at the institute during their dinner hours for the first time last month and was BLOWN AWAY! The food and service were outstanding, the bread was incredible, and the entree selections were unique. The prices were unexpectedly reasonable and the portions were generous. They're not open everyday so be sure to call and verify times and days so that you can plan accordingly.

I was treated rudely. Don't bother going in if you are not a male wanting a "fade" because you will be just sitting and waiting along time.

this is for Rachel... who did a review on 8/7/2012 First off it is a school the students are learning how to do hair care so you never know how anything will come out just expect the worst but hope for the best so get off there A@@ if you wanted your hair done perfect then that was not the place to go so get off your high horse and stop bashing them its no different from any other career schools as in dental schools your going there for them to learn how to do things right so I think you owe them an apology.

Francis Tuttle Technology Center
I called the Portland campus to schedule an appointment to discuss financial aid and the courses, I got the answering machine and I left a message. Later they called and I could not answer because I was working, I called back on my break, and again, I had to leave a message. I told them what time my break was and that that was the best time to reach me, I never got a call. Then I called the Rockwell campus and wanted to set up an appointment and she asked what classes I wanted to take and I told her I didn't know and I was hoping we could meet and she could help direct me to the classes I needed to take. Instead of helping me, like they do at college, she told me to look online at the classes an pick one, then call her back. Needless to say, I'll be picking a different school to attend. The customer service was terrible and not helpful.

C C's Cosmetology College
I called on a Friday and the receptionist said I should "call back at 2 to see how they were doin' with all the stuff they had goin' on." Very unprofessional. She had told me they had a good number of senior students on hand, but my guess is this person would rather cut class, visit with her friends, or whatever rather than perform the services she is being trained to earn her living. All I can say to her is, "Good luck with your attitude" and to CCCC owners, "Train your people better but, by all means, monitor them, also." You won't be hearing from me again because I want my hair done.

Absolutely do not ever go here. Ever. Very poor service. I recently had my hair colored here. I'm sorry to say it was a HORRIBLE experience.I wound up paying a total of $92 for hair I didn't like. NINETY TWO DOLLARS!!! The highlighted color in my hair disappeared after 3 weeks. Those strands were a whitish blond very dull "color". NINETY TWO dollars and the color washed right out as if it were semi permanent. When I went back to see what they could do, I was treated poorly. I was treated like I had done something wrong and was trying to get a free second color job. WHAT????? Very crazy.I absolutely would not recommend this "salon" to anyone.
