The GOOD:- Clean and neat-Great Inventory-Awesome Gun Range facility-Most gun shop personnel seem like good folks-Prices on firearms are pretty good, 2nd best I've found in the area (with direct product/price comparisons on the same day)The BAD:-Ammo restrictions on the Range smack of the ATF (no steel cases because it's too much trouble to separate from the recycled brass...REALLY?)-Gun Range folks seem bored and apathetic-Range ammo is twice as high as it should be due to them only selling brass cased ammo-$17 is a little steep on a nice day, maybe I would feel differently if it was bad weatherI'm on the fence about coming back. I am lucky enough to have an outdoor place to shoot of my own, so it's a toss up. I am a little chapped about the ammo rules because I purchased $60 worth of the cheap stuff to have a fun day at the range and it turned into about a dollar a minute to shoot because I only had one box of brass cased ammo with me. I even looked for rules on the website before coming and didn't see anything restricting what kind of cases could be used. The clerk directed me to Wal Mart for more before I asked about anything on hand. Then I was told it was $25 or so. It just rubbed me wrong I guess after taking the time to go buy it elsewhere first. The reason given seems trivial and lazy to me. Especially when I was the only customer there. I have bought a pistol, maybe two from Big Boys and was satisfied with my purchase. I just wish my excitement about experiencing their new facility was still in tact.Oh, and if you are going to comment negatively on peoples businesses that they have worked hard to build, have some Manhood about yourself and use your given name.
Every time I go into Sam's they are extremely helpful. They don't just point to where you need to go in the store, they take you there and then help you find what you need. Their prices are very reasonable and the amount of items that they have is staggering. They not only have clothing for big guys like me, but clothing for really big guys, as well as skiing, hunting, outdoor, workwear clothing. Also important is that this is a family owned business. It's not one of the huge nationwide stores, and it's certainly not impersonal online shopping. This is the kind of business I like to support when they provide the customer service that I like.
A-1 Vapes is a great place in all aspects. It's a laid back store that never crowded like other vape stores. Walter, the owner, is extremely friendly and helpful, and he really knows his vape stuff. He is never too busy to stop and talk to or help one of the store's visitor. He stocks everything you need and will always help you resolve any vaping issues you experience. His prices are the lowest in town, and his store is open until 8:00 p.m. every night, except Sundays when the store is closed. I highly recommend A-1 Vapes to anyone and everyone.
I attended a book launch and signing party for Aprille Franks-Hunt and I loved this club from entry way to the dance floor. The book release party was held in a separate VIP lounge, which was very classy. Guests were allowed to enter the club are, which was a very open space with tables and chairs along the walls and comfy chairs and tables closer the dance floor. There was line dancing, a live band, and my favorite was the food--fried fish, green beans, and other finger foods, which were complimentary. It doesn't get any better than that!
