Steve's Lawn Care, LLC
This is the company that handles the lawn care in the duplex complex where I live. If I was one of the guys I certainly wouldn't not take any pride in the job done. They miss strips, scalp other places, if a garden hose is accidentally left in their path you have two options. 1) they'll run over it and never look back, or 2) they'll go out around it and leave a 5' swath of uncut grass all because a garden house was laying next to the sidewalk but not ON the sidewalk. Heaven forbid one of the should bend over to pick something up. Very disappointed every time I come home from work and see that they have been there..And equally as disappointed in the landlord for not demanding a more professional job.

Professionalism: Steve Trent has to be the least professional businessman I have ever had to deal with. I as a customer, have been yelled at over the phone because he disagreed with me. Instead of having a professional discussion, he had a temper tantrum like a child. Promptness: He has taken over 3 weeks to get back to me on said issue. Instead of him reaching out to me like he promised he would. I had to reach out to him to ask him what he found out. He told me he would get back with me and he never did, so when I reached out to him, he blocked me and is being very unprofessional at handling any kind of problems. I do not understand how a grown man is acting worse than a 16 year old con-artist.

Tom's Lawn Service
Second week in a row. That on our security footage that one particular person gets really frustrated while around our garage door.. And keeps a constant eye contact with across the street neighbors. And something causes a power surge and we loose alarm system every time . I don't know but this time I don't remember our gargae needing mowing! Good luck

Mow Managers
Didn't have a good experience. They cut my grass last summer and left loose grass in my flower bed and patio and they would not keep a schedule. I was double billed because it rained and they skipped a day.

The crew stole all the peaches off my peach tree in my backyard last year. Didn't understand why ALL my peaches disappeared until my neighbor recently told me she witnessed the theft. I will not employ thieves.

Turf Team Outdoor Management
Unfortunately Very Poor Landscaping, mowing and weed spraying. Please do yourself a favor and don't consider these guys for your next landscaping or grounds keeping job. After several attempts to fix problems caused by lack of detail to landscaping planning resulting in a substandard work.

Tips & Advices
Employers must conduct all required training in a language and vocabulary that workers can understand. Training must demonstrate the hazards of operating certain machinery, like stone cutters and splitters, as well as how to use them appropriately. It's important to verify that your landscape contractor has taken the necessary steps to fully train its personnel and that the appropriate safety precautions are in place.
Check the specific regulations for your area, and verify that your contractor has the necessary licenses. These may include a state contractor's license, pesticide license, CDL driver's license and license to sell and purchase nursery stock.
Landscape work is not cheap, so it's in your best interest to make sure that it's done to your requirements and that you get the best contractor to do the job. Homeowners should know how much they'll need to pay for the contractor's service as well as how they will be billed for this work. Ask about any design fees, if quoted prices are fixed or estimates, and what the payment process will be. Clarifying these items in the beginning will prevent any surprise expenses.
Yes. Homeowners should require that the contractor submit certificates verifying compliance with safety, insurance, workers' compensation and drug and alcohol testing programs. This will give you peace of mind that the contractor has gone through all the steps under industry regulations.
Yes. Every good contractor should have a list of recently completed jobs that you can see in their portfolio. They should also have a list of references that you can contact, or properties that you can see in person.
