Access Medical Centers - Urgent Care
Extremely pleased with the service my son received here yesterday. Very little wait time, friendly, knowledgeable & very professional. XRay on site was very convenient. Received a referral call for an orthopedic before 9am the next morning.

Horrible experience! They made me wait 2-3 hours JUST to tell me that I couldn't be seen! Took my son in due to an ear infection AND THEY DIDNT LOOK IN HIS EAR! crazy! Never will go there again!

Awesome experience. I was able to check-in online and was backing in an examining room in under 10 minutes. The door no sooner closed and the P.A. Lauryn came in. Had X-rays and was out of there in under an hour. They were all professional and friendly. If I need urgent care again, I will definitely be going back.

This place is a joke. My 6 yr old daughter was sick and obviously had chest congestion and they wouldn't give her a flu test but did give her a strep test then proceeded to tell me that's why she was coughing so bad and refused to give her a flu test. I wouldn't go back even if I was in my death bed and they were the only place in existence to get better!!! Don't waste your time

I over highly recommend this clinic, the whole staff is very warm and caring. I had Dr. Jeremy Lamb, and he was very kind and highly concerned about what was going on with me. They have mine and my family's business from now on.

If you plan on getting in a hurry, don't! This is the most dysfunctional place I've ever been on my life! The therapy part is good though! Then the people that are supposed to help you, expescially if you're there on a work related injury, look at you like a flea, because they assum you are lying and they won't even touch you! Such a sham of a place, they are in the pockets of the employers trust me!

Posted on April 14, 2016 | Visited this location April 14, 2016QualityConvenienceServiceWait TimeTERRIBLE EXPERIENCE FROM START TO FINISHNw Expressway/CouncilThe lady at the front desk was rude and showed no compassion, her main concern was that my 8 yr old son put a mask on because he coughed. He was in terrible condition but she would only list 3 symptoms when he had about 7. She tried her best to get an attitude out of me insisting she couldn't find my sons insurance in the computer and tried to make me feel bad for not having the actual card. She eventually found it. Once we were called back the lpn was as rude and racist as they come! She looked at my husband my son and I with disgust. She asked basic questions, no compassion, then stuck swabs down my son and husband's throats and up their noses as hard as she could. My husbands nose was still sore after we left. There was only one nice person in the entire building her name was Ashley C. Don't visit this place, it's terrible.

Tips & Advices
Under most health insurance plans, urgent care visits will require a copay that is usually less expensive than emergency room visits, but more expensive than standard doctor visits - around $120 on average. Urgent care staff do not have much information regarding individual coverage, so be prepared and check with your insurance provider to understand costs.
It is common for urgent care physicians to recommend follow-up treatment after an initial visit. Most commonly, patients will be asked to return to the clinic or their primary care doctor if symptoms get worse or do not improve in a certain amount of time. Patients might be referred to a specialist for treatment of more complex conditions. Or patients may simply be given a few basic tips for recovering at home. In any case, patients should follow the doctor’s advice regarding next treatment steps.
If needed, urgent care doctors can prescribe medication to treat conditions. This may include antibiotics for an infection or pain medication for a broken bone. Be sure to follow the doctor’s instructions for taking these medicines.
Be sure to explain your symptoms to physicians in as much detail as possible. Note when or where the symptoms first appeared if possible. Inform urgent care staff of any medical conditions you may have, all allergies, and all medications you are currently taking. Also be sure to bring proper forms of identification, and any health insurance cards/information to help process your visit.
You should be able to find a 24-hour urgent care clinic by searching online resources such as Be sure the location is included in your health plan network before visiting.
