Brendon Mccollom DO
I wanted to reserve my opinion of this physician until I had several encounters with him, and now feel fortunate that I did. Every encounter had a wait time of over an hour- one almost 2 hours. I understand emergency situations and the acuity of patients, however, being schedule shortly after lunch one should not have a wait time of over an hour, except in mitigating circumstances. There is a sign in each office or patient room, a Mercy sign, which states something similar to letting them know if you have only concerns or complaints as they want to provide every patient with excellent care. When this physician entered my room today, and asked how I was, I stated that he must be very busy as I had to wait, again, over an hour to see him, rather than listen to why I made the statement or my reasons for being there he walked out saying his time was for seeing sick patients and he instructed his male scheduler/office assistant to schedule me with another Dr. as he would no longer see me.o As a healthcare professional of over 30 years, and recently, a retired professor of Nursing, I have worked with hundreds of physicians, and I can only recall a few that acted with the immaturity and arrogance that I witnessed today. Very sad. No professionalism at all. I had witnessed his staff in much the same way, appearing too busy talking with and about each other, vs being sincerely interested in or caring for the patients that are scheduled to see them. The ladies I encounter in the entry of the building, where you sign in/register, have always been politeful, courteous, and timely. Therefore, I have to wonder how individual physicians and their offices are organized, managed, and supervised. Please read other people's concerns and make your own determination re seeing this physician. Sadly, it appears many have had similar experiences with this physician.

Griffin Carl P MD
My wife and I both use Dr. Griffin for our health care needs, and have for at least 15 years now. We think he may just be the best physician in OKC. He always takes the time to sit and listen to you. He takes every situation one step at a time, and breaks it down, so you can understand why he is either prescribing the medicine you will be taking, or the treatment you will have to have. He is a true professional, and at the same time caring and understanding. We really consider him to be more than just our family doctor. He is our friend. His staff is just as great as he is too. God Bless Dr. Griffin, his family, and his staff.

Dr. Donald H Kim, MD
Was referred by my GP to Dr. Kim, after 3 weeks of calling and excuses trying to just make an appointment I asked if I should go to another Dr. the receptionist said yes, very rude & arrogant. I could not even get an appointment! I don't know how Dr. Kim would be as a Doctor but if it is anything like the process of TRYING to make an appointment, I would not want him dealing with my health issues. Did nothing but waste my time waiting for someone to call which never did in a 3 week not waste your time with this office apparently they are to busy to help new patients.

Tracy DR Ellis Physician
Currently, I am in the middle of the series of treatments on my right knee (I'm to have 28, and I've had seven so far....three the first visit; four the second. The earlier reviewer described the procedure accurately. I'm scheduled for four more this week. I have experienced a remarkable change in my knee as well as in my ability to walk without any pain much of the time. Dr. Ellis stated on my last visit that such a quick improvement was not usual, but he was pleased I was feeling so much better. While I'm not yet 100%, I would easily be able to live with what I now have, if this is as good as it gets. And if improvement continues to happen, I will be very satisfied. I read all the comments about the legal situation he's had in the past--this was after my first round of treatments--and it did give me pause before I returned. But so far things are going very well. I'll continue with treatment to completion, if I need it. He had indicated that, should I feel the knee was up to the level of comfort I needed before finishing the 28 treatments, I could choose to stop with no penalty and without having to pay for treatments not received. Dr. Ellis now uses a payment program called Care Credit, which is interest-free for up to 18 months. (After that, interest goes up to over 20%, so it's best to pay it off as quickly as possible!)

Garcia, Carlos A, MD
I wouldn't even give them a star if I didn't have to. Worse place ever. Do not trust them with any part of your body or skin. Go to a dr that actually has sense and who knows what they are doing

Caple A Spence MD Pcc
I would NOT recommend Caple Spence to anyone! I went for an initial consultation and had to wait 2 1/2 hours past my scheduled time, only to spend about 5 ACTUAL minutes in a room where my concerns were ignored. In the "good doctor's" own words, "I don't see anything on the film, so you should be fine". It should be OBVIOUS that you are NOT going to see nerve damage or the pain a patient is talking about on a MRI or an X-ray. I decided to go to a different Neurologist and when I picked up a copy of the paperwork that Caple Spence had "filled in", half of the information that was written in the report had NEVER been done! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO SEE HIM!!

Tips & Advices
An osteopathic physician practices a comprehensive form of medicine that takes a holistic approach to a person's health. Instead of specializing in one system or set of organs, an osteopathic specialist focuses on the health of the total body. This includes evaluating environmental factors that affect a person's well-being.
Many family doctors deliver babies, especially in rural areas without a nearby OB/GYN. However, most family doctors only deliver for low-risk pregnancies and do not perform cesarean sections.
Family nurse practitioners are highly educated nurses able to provide medical care individually or with the assistance of another professional. Family nurse practitioners obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then take the National Council Licensure Examination to begin working as a registered nurse. Then, they continue their education and obtain a Master of Science in Nursing. Following that, they become certified in family practice via the American Nurses Credentialing Center of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, allowing them to become certified family nurse practitioners.
Some family doctors provide immunizations while others do not. Typically, doctors who work as part of a large practice are more likely to offer vaccines in-house. Doctors in offices of one to two physicians are more likely to refer patients to a public health department or other immunization provider.
A physician's assistant is a person qualified to perform routine medical services. This individual is professionally licensed and certified, but they may not have the extensive med school education of a doctor. That said, PAs do complete almost three years of postgraduate study and more than 2,000 hours of rotations.
