Ocala Tire Service Inc
After hearing from multiple people who said they've been coming to Ocala Tire Service for years, i decided to check them out for myself when it was time to get a tune-up on my car. Everyone i talked to was super friendly and professional, and they were finished in no time. Even though it was just a simple tune-up, they still treated me as important! In this day and age, customer service is almost a lost art, and the guys there definitely made me feel comfortable. I'll absolutely be bringing my car here for any service from now on. Thanks Ocala Tire Service!

Having purchased aftermarket wheels for my 05 Frontier, I was very worried about installation issues and /or scratches. But after walking in the office door all my reservations were put aside, with the selection of aftermarket wheels on display I knew that this would be a smooth and trouble free process. And I was right They checked my rims and my truck to make sure that the fitment was correct and went to work. With NO added charges or trying to sell other services I drove away with my wheels installed and smiling all the way down the road.

I don't know about turnover, or how long this crew will be together, but the guys I got work hard to treat you right, and keep you happy. I added difficulty to my situation, by ordering from Discount Tire Direct, and having the tires shipped to the local store. Advice: Deal with your local store, to simplify problem resolution, if any problems arise. Definitely worth your consideration for any of your wheel and tire needs. Nick was especially helpful in resolving my problem in a way that I thought was fair.

To respond too Ron E. This customer came in with his own product that we tried too help him out with that he him self had already install. First he blame the dealership for his problems now he like too put blame on us. Sorry for the lost of your family member if once you are feeling better we would still help you because no matter what we never turn our backs on our customers.

The best mechanic I ever met. He explained everything to me. He's very honest and doesn't try to trick you and overcharge you. He gave me the best price out of ten different garages I went to. He even stayed open late on a Saturday to help me so I wouldn't have to rent a car on Monday. Best price, reliable work, honest, knowledgeable, a good person, very rare.

I bring everything I own here for tires and brakes, and DJ the mechanic is very knowledgeable. They are very experienced with all makes and models and haven't let me down. My parents have been coming here since they were young so you know the old man (owner) knows his stuff because his customers keep coming back! 5/5

Tire Kingdom
Had front tires replaced elsewhere and the driver's side went flat the same day. I wanted to take it back and let them try again but that place was closed so I found tire kingdom. They found I had two bad valve stems and replaced them in minutes. Total cost: Free.I'll be a regular with tire kingdom from now on.

The mechanics are adequate. The front office staff is dysfunctional. They can't even call you when the car is ready. They have flunked charm school and can't communicate with the shop.

Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.

Just a moment...
