Chelsea always has new ideas for my hair. She listens to what I want and I always love the result. She is also amazing with makeup, I come to her whenever I have a big event! I trusted Chelsea with hair and makeup for my wedding, turned out perfect!

Salon Snips (Haircuts for Kids)
Just took my 21 month old son for a haircut. Angelica cut his hair and did an awesome job! She was so nice and the other lady that was there was very nice as well. I've been trying to find a salon that works well with younger kids since the last salon I took my son too he had a horrible experience. I will definitely be going back and also bringing my other 2 boys as well! Thank you Angelica!

This is the worst salon I've ever been to. Here's what happened:I go in for a haircut by Denisa, she was extremely friendly and styled my hair for a very long time. My first impression was that she did a nice job and styled it really nicely.I go home and on closer inspection I noticed that the top layer was almost two inches shorter on one side than the other so I call right away. No one answered so I left a message. I go to pick up my son from preschool and while I was gone they left a message saying to call back and come in at 445p. I call back right away and again no one answered. I didn't leave a message but I didn't think I needed to.So I go in a little before my appointment time and sit and wait.... and wait.. No one. Not one person greeted me or asked why I was there. I waited for twenty minutes and I even stood by the cash register area for a few of those minutes, still no one came to talk to me.The next day I call and complain and the receptionist apologized and told me I would get my money back but I would have to speak to the owner, Helen, but Helen wasn't there so call the next day at 3pm. Well, I couldn't get back to her then because I had things going on (my son's birthday, his birthday party, and other errands).When I did call Helen, who is the manager not the owner supposedly, she refused to give me my refund because according to company policy I needed to allow them to fix it. I told her no, I already went in to have it fixed and was very rudely ignored. Then she said it didn't count because I didn't "confirm" the appointment.However, I did try calling, no one answered, I go in, was ignored and apparently I am the one to blame because I do not know the ins-and-outs of their company policies. Ridiculous!!!!And they still won't give me my full refund. She also accused me of just trying to get a free haircut and getting my money back was my "end game". ARE YOU KIDDING ME??AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!

Plain and simple, do not go here unless you want a 15 year old girl to shampoo your hair and miss half of it and then have a guy who doesn't even know how to do highlights come splash color all over your roots and get it on your face. This was the SINGLE WORSE SALON experience that I have ever had, and I'm not alone. He gave my boyfriend a standard haircut during the same visit and he left with the sides buzzed and nothing from the top taken off. He looked like a cone head. When I had my color corrected at another LEGITIMATE salon, the stylists could not fathom that a certified professional did my hair. It was bright Orange and he didn't even have the sense to use foils or bleach - just orange dye that he splotted everywhere. DO NOT GO HERE. This is also his 3rd location because he can't keep business. Should be reported to BBB or board of cosmetology. He doesn't know how to do hair, plain and simple.

Alex has been cutting my hair for years. I have short hair for a female and in most salons they butcher my hair then on top of it they have the nerve to charge me top dollar for a bad hair cut. I went into to Alex and told him that I wanted my hair STYLED with the hair short on the sides longer on the top then graduated in the back , tapered at the neck. Dam! he got it the first cut , and the cut last mote than two weeks. the funny thing is that it did not cost and arm an a leg. He is great with kids , quick and inexpensive. Call to get an appointment. He is in a new location in Wixom. Planning on adding new stylist and maybe new spa features like pedicures and massages later. He's a diamond in the rough ladies. He did great with my mothers cut and color. Brought out the blonde and cleaned up the brassy she changed the formula her stylist had been using for years . Love him loads.

From the moment I walked in it was a bad experience! The woman that asked what I needed (yes, she asked what do you need when I arrived) stated she was the manager. Very rude and slummy looking. I thought I was going to a high end salon?! Apparently they have no expectations on management! How embarassing. I was greeted by my stylist shina. She took me to het chair and asked if she could "just chop my hair off". I was apauled! I came in for a trim. My hair has always been in great condition. Shina rudely suggested I cut it all off. I will not be returning to Salon Freda.

OWNER (RUSS) EGOTISTICAL, ARGUMENTATIVE BULLY STYLIST STOLE MY MONEY....Long story short, I came in asking for a beautiful shade of red hair and left with a color not even close to the picture I showed.I came back 3 days later and asked Russ politely to fix it. Instead of agreeing , Russ became argumentative, combative ….basically, a jerk. “Well, this was the hair swatch you agreed too…blah blah blah!” We ladies know how closely our hair turns out like the swatches! This bickering went on for about five minutes at least … I could feel myself getting upset to the point of tears. I decided to ask for a refund and get the heck out of there. Mind you, I work in retail at the moment…which means, I make zero money. So, for me to pay Russ $120… $140 (Yeah, I know… I gave him a $20 tip for hair I disliked…. We ladies do it all the time)…. Is A LOT of money for me, anyone in retail, as it is taxing work. Then to go back into a salon and have the jerk off owner be a pr*ck about fixing my hair….. Nah, I wasn’t having it. I wanted my money back.Russ writes me a refund check, insults me a few more times, tells me “Good riddens”… “Don’t come back”…. “I should have known (no sure what this meant?)”….OH…Russ accused me of cheating him out of a free “do” LOL!!! I thought he was delirious, as I came back to have it fixed and didn’t want my money back originally…. It was only when he started to bully me I asked for a refund!Update: This is the moral of Salon D’Mars’ story…… I deposited my refund check to find out Russ put a stop payment on it. Not only is Russ (Owner) incapable of admitting a customer did not like the hair he did….. Russ is not even a decent, ethical business man; one who will allow an unsatisfied customer to seek a service elsewhere. Be prepared for a VERBAL BEATDOWN and FINANCIAL LOSS if you don't like your hair …..
