Malkis, Avi
I could not have asked for a more professional, talented dentist he not only did a beyond exceptional job on 8 caps, working with my Insurance company. Dr. Avi Malkis and his staff are a joy to be around.I have seen at least 5 dentists in this area and I can say from my experience at my age that he has been the best dentist that I have had the pleasure to deal with. Beyond 5* for sure!

This place was awesome, office manager was great, explained everything to me that I needed to know. He helped me form a payment plan to pay for all my work that I needed!! Awesome office manager!!!! The dentist was great too, she knew her stuff. Before I knew it I was already done. The dental assistant was very good too. Over all my experience was amazing, I`ll be going back for sure!

Everyone there is friendly, professional and accomodating!!! They service both adults and children and have a pediatric dentist on staff for my 8 year old. It was great to be able to book an appointment for both myself and my children on the same day and receive exceptional care.

Anderson Dental
There is "next to none" wait time upon arriving and he is efficient and timely with patients. My pre-teen/teen children see Dr Anderson and although he might not be considered a "pediatric DDS" he is absolutely competent with them and they are fine to go !!!

Norwalk Dental Associates
I had a fantastic experience at Norwalk Dental Associates. Dr. Arutt and Dr. Green are great dentists. Jenna, the dental hygienist is very gentle. She made my teeth feel very clean and fresh. Im looking forward to my next appointment to get Zoom whitening.

April the secretary is rude and so is the gentlemen who answers the phone. Dr. Green is professional and caring. But, everyone else stinks. I had a question about my teeth and they said they were busy and would not answer my question and not to call again.

Daniel N. Minchik, DDS
Dr. Minchik has incredible empathy for his patients. He is a very efficient and conscientious worker. I've had something that didn't work right, and I went back to him and he corrected it for free. He is just a great guy.

Anderson Dental is made up of a great group, everyone works together as a team to make sure the patients receive the best care. It's an extremely comfortable office, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
