I had a wonder experience buying a car from O'meara ford. The salesman Eric Garcia really knew his way around cars. Super friendly and respectful. I will definitely come back when it's time to buy a new car.

Pep Boys Auto Service & Tire
If I could give no stars I would. I brought my car in for an issue that I know was not that severe as I have taken my car to another mechanic and PEP BOYS off 120th and Washington and they said what would take a day or two turned in to a nightmare 2 that's rite 2 weeks they have had my car and it is still not fixed. they have OVERNIGHTED the part they need. 3 x now and all have been and ERROR on their distribution warehouse. with never showing up, they don't know where it is. this is asinine. no remorse or anything for the car being in there a week and half too long. RIDICLOUS and the manager up there horrible both Lanny shop manager and lead technician NICK is a complete ass hat doesn't care about anything. even as far as going to my partner and telling him that he was not going to deal with me anymore, HA little does he know I am the one with the credit card. GOOD LUCK ON GETTING A PAYMENT AND YOU WILL BE HEARING FROM MY LAWYER. nothing else follows.

Took my motorhome in for a/c repair and was told by another shop it would coat upwards of 2000.00 dollars for repair. Phil checked it out and found small leak in compressor hose and replaced fitting. It hasn't work this good since it was new . 300. dollar repair and still working fine. Didn't rip my lips off. I will always recommend these guys anyday.

My 2011 F350 (34,000 miles) popped up with an error message in the console "Please pull over safely now" on Wednesday. The truck shut down completely. I had it towed to O'Mera and Mark helped me get it checked in. Mark has always been great to work with and this time was no different. They service crew initially though it was a software update issue and made the update. The day after I took the truck home the "check engine" light came on. I brough the truck back and Mark apologized for the on-going issues. He helped me get a rental car and checked the truck's error codes. It truned out to be the same error which meant I had a bad sensor not just a software issue. Mark just called about 10 minutes ago starting the truck was ready. Although I'm not happy that I had this issue with my new (3 years is new to me) truck I do feel like Mark and team did a good job of making things right. When they didn't get the problem fixed the first time they immeadiately took the truck back in and corrected the problem. I hope I won't be back a 3rd time.

I brought my 98 Lincoln Continental in for an oil change (The Works Package). I am happy with the service provided. I also ordered WeatherTech front floor mats for my 2012 Escape. Both Tom (Quick Lane) and Jesus (Parts) were very helpful and curteous.

Great service as always. I called ahead on my oil change to see if I needed anything else done on the car. Thought I needed a fuel filter but when I arrived they rechecked the records and no additional services beyond the oil change were needed. With coupons and discounts, I got the Works Package and tire rotation for $24 including tax. Thanks O'Meara!

Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
