Autolika
The team at Autolika is incredible. They are honest, considerate, intelligent, thorough, thoughtful, and always do the best job at the best price. There is no other auto repair experience I have had that I can say the same about. We have two Volvos and a Saab that have been perfectly maintained at a very good and honest price. We've always worked with Nenad - if you're looking for a specific and solid recommendation, go in and ask for him, he is honest and awesome, he will always go above and beyond for you.

Autolika
I have 2003 Range Rover HSE and it started making some engine noise and I went to 2 dealers in Cleveland and 1 independent shop that works only on Rovers and they all wanted to change engine $5000-6500 estimate and then I talked to one of my friends who has taken his 05 BMW X5 to Autolika and he assured me that he did not meet better technician when it comes to German cars.So I called them up and after 20 minutes of conversation with the owner I could tell that this is real deal he explain to me over the phone all possibility's and costs and once I brought my car to him he assured me that engine does not need to be replaced and that he can fix it for about $3000 and if is not fixed that I would not have to pay .I never heard of any repair shop offering that so I knew that this guy must know his work to offer this no fix no pay policy .Two weeks later my car was done and I have put 4000 miles since and it runs like new Would definitely recommend to anybody .Thanks Autolika for great work

Autolika
Knowledgeable and honest and do quality work. They mostly focus on German automobiles, but I'd trust them with anything with four wheels. It's so difficult to find a good mechanic that you can trust. Go in and ask for Nenad - the nicest guy you will ever meet. I find their service competent and quick and their prices very fair. I recommend them to anyone.

Buckeye Transmission
We were traveling in Ohio, when our car broke down. Buckeye Transmission was the first to answer the phone after hours, and was able to help us out and get us back on the road! It was so nice to be able to get a hold of someone right away so we could continue on with our plans. We had great service, and good comunication. I would highly recommend them and hope that more people take after them with honesty and hard work.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
