Legacy Air
Called up for a warm air blowing AC. Dave came out the next morning (quite early...but better to beat the heat). It took him about 15 minutes to figure out the potential problem (hole in the coolant line). After he found the issue, he explained all the options (and price) he could take to correct the problem (in terms that I could understand!). After being honest with his suggestions, I was able to decide what route to take. It then took him about 30 minutes to fix it (welded) and add more coolant. The bill wasn't outrageous...ballpark of what I expected (which wasn't the most expensive option he suggested.) He was in and out in under an hour. I will recommend these guys to anyone that needs an honest repair company.

Legacy Air
I am sorry I am writing this so late but they did a great job and my husband said I need to write a review. We had a by-passed switch that allowed the heat to keep running and not turn off. The previous tenants did not have a auto thermostat so I think with our new thermostat and Legacy did the fix for half price. We had a home insurance plan and the Air Conditioning company that came out sent from the plan quoted the fix over 300.00 dollars because someone had bypassed this switch(tampered) with the wiring. I don't remember the guys name but I will find my old slip.

Gold Star Appliance Repair
Today, February 12, 2016 was my first experience dealing with Gold Star Appliance Repair. My experience with Gold STAR TECHNICIAN Fernando, was pleasant. I found Fernando to be very competent and knowledgeable. Repair and replacement of leaking dishwasher drain hose was attended to promptly. Should you have a need for appliance repair I highly recommend Gold Star Appliance Repair. The cost of repair was more than fair, thank you Fernando for a job well done. My wife is happy, I'm happy.

Priority Appliances
I purchased a French Door refrigerator from Jeff at Priority and I can't tell you enough good things about the whole experience! Jeff was so knowledgeable and was concerned about the size of the fridge, whether it would fit correctly in the kitchen, and through the doors of my house. You don't just get a sales person, you get someone who really cares! Thanks, Jeff!

This is a great company. My first estimate was for $6,000 and ProServ replaced my thermostat for $200. My system is 15 years old and I will probably replace soon with ProServ
Tips & Advices
Aftermarket replacement parts can be perfectly safe and reliable, but be sure to do your research. If replacing a more integral piece, such as washing machine’s water pump or a thermostat for a busted water heater, it might be best to purchase new.
Replacement parts generally come with warranties extending anywhere from 30 days to five years, depending on the original price, the nature of the fix and the age of the part itself.
If you’re seeking new parts repair companies will generally mark up their prices slightly--particularly at a major national retailer. However, used parts are typically discounted.
Cheaper used appliance parts can be found online or at many local, independently owned retailers, along with ecommerce sites such as eBay. Major retailers, however, generally limit their selection to unused, full-priced options.
Second-hand appliance parts are generally anywhere between 50-75% cheaper than new ones, but warranties might not extend as long and the parts may be less reliable or come with a shorter lifespan. Be sure to research the source of any second-hand parts to ensure the dealer is reputable and the part itself reliable.
