My rating is for the fish section. Twice I have been there and brought a sunset molly home and a few days later hookworms show up. I checked my second one over well, and she didn't have any when I got her. I am not sure if the first one had them visibly when I bought them or not. Also, they keep cichlids in with community fish. I was looking one time and I asked if a tank was sick. The mollys were in rough shape. The girl replies oh, no the cichlid is just beating them up. Then I noticed the fish, if any fish came in its bubble it would chase them. I don't why she didn't move it, if she knew the problem. Lastly, I was sold the wrong fish. I said I wanted a rubbernose Pelco. The girl gave me a bristlenose pelco. It is my fault for not really paying attention to the fish until I got back to work. I didn't want to waste my time taking it back then. This review happened between three separate visits. They do have a good selection of fish though, but I wish they would take care of them better. I almost got a black lyretail molly, but she was the only female in a tank with about 10 plus males. They had picked on her until she didn't have any scales on her head. I told the guy I did not want her anymore, so he through her back into the same tank as she came out of.

Took my 2 Shih-tzus in for grooming, got a call 5 hours later saying they couldn't get one dog out of the cage so they didn't groom or bathe him at all. Common sense says a call sooner would have been the wise choice, instead I wasted my time and my dog was left sitting scared in a cage for 5 hours. Won't be going back.

Store #214 Norman, OK June 4th, 2015 , Grooming issues My 11 year old labra doodle was trained as a service dog and has helped me for several years. The last 5 years, I have been unable to bath him, so I have been taking him to PetSmart's grooming with no problems. I dropped him off at 10:30 a.m. and was told that he would be finished at 1:30 p.m. At 1:30, I was told it would be another 40 minu...tes. I waited. At 2:30, I was told it would be another 15 minutes. I waited. At 3:15, I left the store with my dog not finished. One ear was cleaned but not the other one. Two feet were grind but not the other two. His hair was shaved but his glands were not excreted. I am aware of you "guarantee" but the manager of the store told me that he was proud of her (Chris), the groomer, who never mentioned any problems with the dog. I was very exhausted from all of this and worried that I would not get my dog returned to me. Now, I am taking my dog to the vet for an ear infection in the one ear that she cleaned. Here is my question: Can I expect this kind of treatment toward me and my pet every time I need a groomer? It seems that the new manager approves of this treatment.June 13th (over a week later) I received a call from Mike (store manager) who apologized for the way that I feel. Have you ever had anyone apologize for your feelings?

Pet owners usually sign a waiver stating that any injury or illness a dog suffers while at daycare is the responsibility of the owner. However, most facilities carry liability insurance and pet business insurance in the event of a serious incident. To prevent illness, facilities are strict about requiring proof of vaccination and general health from a veterinarian prior to accepting a dog. However, in an off-leash setting, scuffles or fights might occur. Reputable facilities will often hire vet assistants who can treat minor injuries and under-the-weather dogs.  For anything more serious, a good daycare should make it a priority to get the dog to a vet, and get in immediate contact with the owner.
