Fast and friendly service. Made the reservation online and car was waiting when I arrived, even though I was earlier than expected. Gentleman at the counter couldn't have been nicer or more efficient, even walked us from the counter through to the pick up area. They offered to upgrade our car from a full size to an SUV for only $10 - a no brainer since we were traveling with 4 tall people and a lot of luggage from an international trip. (They even put cold, bottled water in the car, a welcome sight after a long day on multiple flights.) I've used Enterprise before and will continue to do so. They seem to be the company with the most efficient people, the fewest unexpected charges and the easiest rental and return process. Highly recommended.
So hassle-free! Gave my reservation code, showed my ID at the desk (no line to wait in!- employees were very efficient!) and was kindly advice to proceed to the parking lot and some alarm and meet me and show me my choice of cars. He was very helpful and very quick, as well as courteous and kind, just like the representative at the desk. Long story short, within approximately five minutes of approaching the enterprise desk, I was literally driving out of the airport! Great, friendly and professional staff. I will definitely use enterprise again.
I'm an Executive Club member and recently rented from EWR airport. I had no issues with staff, with the car, or with personnel. Any time I rent from any vendor (not just National), I take the time to do a walk around and take pictures of the car on my phone, particularly if there are scratches, etc. While EWR is on of my least favorite airports to use, I have not yet had any problems with renting from National.
