I went for lower eye lid surgery she talked me into have the upper"s done at the same time Total cost $6,500. Totally dissatisfied with the results. Still, have "bags" under the eyes along with additional unwanted issues. Met with her to discuss results, she said she would address the problem at no cost to me. I replied given the results of the first procedure I would not be interested in a revision surgery performed by her and would seek out another surgeon to fix the issues she had caused. I asked for a partial refund to help cover the cost....still waiting! Don't be misled like I was by her before and after "Gallery". I believe it to be suspect. I also believe many of the stellar reviews posted are fraudulent. When I was in the waiting room to discuss the results of my surgery, there were 2 others waiting who were equally dissatisfied. In my opinion, she's all about the money with zero integrity! My opinion.

Dr. Noel Perin: NYU Langone Medical Center
DO NOT HAVE THIS MAN OPERATE ON YOU. I will save YOUR life! Dr. NOEL PERIN ruined my life. I had shoulder pain which he said was coming from my cervical spine and he had to operate. On June 1, 2012 he operated and when he opened me up he literally put the hardware in & did NOT fuse my disks together. In the recovery room I was on pain meds & I was nearly overdosed on pain meds. I was bed ridden for 14 months & ALL of my post up pain was ignored. I had to have corrective operation done again to fix the problem he caused. He should NOT be operating on ANYONES Spine EVER. I CANT UNDERSTAND HOW he's getting away with this. I was unable to sue due to a statute of limitations. Dr. Andrew HECHT of Mt. Sinai is the surgeon who corrected my spine. I still wear a cervical collar & suffer in pain immensely. DO NOT HAVE AN OPERATION with Dr. NOEL PERIN

Dr. Irving Buterman, MD
After 20 years, I will be switching doctors due to the UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOUR of Dr. Buterman's office staff and POOR QUALITY OF SERVICE they provide, as well as the LACK OF RESPONSIVENESS by both Dr. Buterman and his staff. Both the way the practice is managed and the quality of the office staff (or lack thereof) make me feel like I am at a clinic vs. an Upper East Side Park Avenue practice. In the last three weeks, I have had to call for test results over 20 times because the office/doctor does not return calls, the office staff hangs up on me, and/or I am yelled at and told they are "too busy to look for my results in the pile that is building up on the fax machine."Just today, after leaving a message and calling over 5 times for follow-up test results, I was promised someone would call before the office closed for the long weekend. NO ONE CALLED, and I will now have to wait until Tuesday to begin the process again of begging for my own test results. It is DISGUSTING to withhold test results from nervous patients and RISKY to not review/communicate results in a timely manner. Further, Dr. Buterman has NOT BEEN HELPFUL OR SUPPORTIVE. Not only is he hiring poor quality staff, but from what I am told, he is frequently out of the office - either on vacation or leaves early - so no one is available to actually review my test results. At this point, IT'S BEEN 3 WEEKS, I STILL HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED A CALL BACK FROM DR. BUTERMAN explaining my test results.

Charles N. Cornell, MD
He is a old cold hearted, uncaring, unprofessional surgeon, who only cares about making fast $$$ at the expense of minority elderly patients. He tricks elderly patients into surgeries that they do not need, makes them sign consent forms that they do not understand what they are signing. He is a old surgeon, with unstable hands to do any surgery. If you love your family members then keep them away from this greedy surgeon, otherwise they may be in severe pain for rest of their lives.

Klausner Institute
Dr. Klausner prescribed me medications, completely unaware of the FDA's most severe "black box" warning for side effects. They were also contraindicated with others I was taking and had disclosed. After weeks of prep for surgery, she asked for thousands in previously undisclosed fees, less than 24 hours before it was supposed to take place. She then canceled the surgery when I was unable to pay immediately.

Philip J. Miller, MD, FACS
I recently had both KYBELLA, JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC, and BOTOX done by Dr. Miller. So far, I am extremely happy with the results. After each KYBELLA treatment, I was swollen for roughly one week. Given this is my fourth treatment, I am extremely happy with the results, and my double chin that has been bothering me for years is now gone! In regards to my VOLUMA XC that was injected into my cheeks, I am extremely happy with the results. My cheeks now have the volume that I always wanted! Dr. Miller is extremely talented, and compassionate towards his patients. For those in the market for an amazing plastic surgeon, Dr. Miller is your guy. Satisfied Patient, Kyle

TriBeCa Plastic Surgery
I love this doctor and his kind way. He listens and takes into consideration a patient,s wants and needs. I felt very comfortable talking with him. I also feel totally confident in his ability to do what he says he can do.
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
